Complete waste of time. They draw you with jobs that are available but they’re suddenly filled 2 days before you come in for your interview.They had me sit in my car and wait. My appointment was at 11 and I finally got a call to do a phone interview with the recruiter by 12:15 just to find out it’s a bait and switch to get you to work temp jobs. I wasted my time and gas to essentially get scammed.

I found all of their employees helpful and friendly. Alison, Assistant Manager is talented at what she does. She spent time with me and really tried to find jobs that would be a good fit for me as well as the employer.

I finally got a call, a year after applying.I was told that I was unqualified for an entry level office job because my bachelors is in education and they cant call an employer and sell me because I was only a teacher with additional experience in copy centers and 10 years of customer service.If you do not have a business degree and office experience they cannot get you a clerical job.

Not the place for professionals. Most job postings found online are to get you in the door to fill out the paperwork and present you over to a company that is not close to what youre looking for. Whats worse is the attitude of the hiring employees. Or sales support as they are called. If you decide to reschedule because youre waiting for over an hour in the half empty waiting room, they will call you and talk down to you. There are better agencies in the area, this should be a last resort for anyone.

Avoid like the plague. I realize job agencies have to make money and what not but the staff here is very rude and tries to oversell everything while leaving out details. The first time we went we got no where because they kept leaving out details. The second time we went for my wife, they had her fill out tons of forms that took a long time. After all that they said they couldnt do much for her. There just out to fill jobs for companies who are hiring, they dont care about you that much unless you take a job.

If you’re looking to go through a temp agency, DO NOT USE Area Temps. I was scheduled to interview with them at 1 pm. I get there at 12:40 and don’t even start my interview until after 2 pm and didn’t leave the place until 3. My interview was put off because the woman scheduled me and another woman to interview AT THE SAME TIME. I spent more time filling out paperwork that she didn’t even look at, than I did in the actual interview. The “best part”? Was probably having the lady take phone calls and help other people IN THE MIDDLE OF MY INTERVIEW. Now keep in mind, THEY contacted ME to interview because they saw my resume and skills online. After all this time spent there, all she said to me was “I can’t promise you anything, I’ll keep you posted”. what??? you call me??? want to interview me??? and i’m given nothing??? and I know how temp agencies work, you don’t always leave with something right away, but not even give me SOMETHING to plan for or watch out for?? Im furious. DONT USE AREA TEMPS

I saw that they were looking for people for a position online. Went in to apply. I did my application and had an interview on the spot. The lady looked at my application and started doing paperwork and mentioned that my work history is shotty because I had only a few months at different places for a year or two straight. They aren’t there to critique a persons work history. Isn’t that what a temp agency is for? She needed my ID and SS card so I made an excuse that it was in the car. I got into my car and went down the road to another agency. I’m not wasting my time with people that give me a bad vibe and say nasty things.

Was misled to come in for an interview for a specific job advertised on Craigslist at a specific time. I walked in to loud rude person who is the only one conducting interviews. I was given packet of papers to fill out, as a temp employee would be expected. Sat at table with several others waiting to be interviewed. I left after being instructed to read their policy pamphlet. No thanks!

Shady business and very unprofessional. I highly recommend any and all other temp agencies before this place.

Do not go through this temp agency! They are ridiculous! i was working on a job and the day I was suppose to be hired this agency let me go. This has happened to me 3 times with Area Temps. They are not men and woman of their word alls they care about is you working and when you are officially going to get hired in to a company they will let you go. Do not trust Area Temps, alls they will do is frustrate you.

Horrible people, dont understand anything. Allison is the worst person anyone could work for. So unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend Mentor Area Temps to no one.

Very unprofessional was qualified for every job posted but wasnt called back in after sitting for hours applying..Front desk personnel was understaffed and argued amongst each other the whole time..
