We had our 100+ year old maple floors repaired and refinished by Mike. They look AMAZING. It took a few days longer than he anticipated but the end result was definitely worth it. Thanks Mike!!

Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was extremely responsive, and very trustworthy. My husband and I both have very demanding jobs, and we were not able to be in the house during the renovation. We were completely at ease with Mike being in our home working. Mike is great to work with. Very responsive and good communications throughout the project. He is a very nice guy and is hardworking and conscientious. His wife Andrea also was quick to respond to questions and invoices, etc. We had Mike do the work in our house while we were living out of town, and I felt very comfortable that he was taking good care of our 90-year-old wood floors. The floors turned out beautiful. Mike went above and beyond and came back for touch up after we moved in and spilled some paint on the new floors, and after movers scratched them. He stands by his work and is very willing to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

Mike did an excellent job of installing my hardwood flooring, there was a considerable amount of leveling that required shims and leveling compound, the transitions to the tile floor were perfect.I would hire and/or recommend Mike to anyone!!George

We had multiple flooring companies bid on our project to install new hardwood flooring in our living room, weave the new flooring into existing flooring for the transition into the kitchen, and then refinish the kitchen and finish the new floor at the same time. Like most projects, when you begin to research it you find out there is a lot that you dont know and need a trustworthy company to do the job for you. We chose A&M Floors because Mike and Andrea were the most helpful and it was clear they take a lot of pride in their family business. The project took about a week, as planned, and the finished product is fantastic! The new floor and existing floor blend perfectly and you would never know which floor is older than the other. The flooring is southern red oak and after Mike showed us several finish options we opted to use a lesser known product called Pallmann Magic Oil for a more natural finish. I had never heard of the product before and there isnt nearly as much information online about it as other products, but what sold us was that it had a significantly shorter curing time where you could start lightly using the floor the next day instead of waiting multiple days. Magic Oil also has very low VOC levels (maybe the lowest you can get?) and alleged to be very easy to repair and refinish when needed. We can already vouch for the easy to repair part being very true! A few weeks after our new floors were finished our dishwasher failed and leaked onto the newly refinished floor. Whats worse is that we were out of town for several days and had no idea it had happened. We returned to cupped floor boards and immediately reached out to Mike. After we gave it a little more time to dry out, he came back to hand sand the damaged portion and refinish it for us. After the repair it blends back in perfectly again! I never imagined we would have to find out this quickly how easy it is to repair, but we are VERY glad to we picked this finish and it was all due to Mikes guidance and patience in explaining the options to us. I highly doubt a more traditional floor finish would have been nearly as easy to repair and even if you could repair it to match, theres no way it could be as inexpensive. Well be having Mike do some more projects for us in the future, thats for sure!
