This was the first time dealing with Malkins. The salesman made several suggestions that really helped us prepare for the Luxury vinyl flooring installation. We replaced the kitchen flooring and the entry hallway which was concrete with tile on it. The installer made some suggestions that really made the difference. When he installed the kitchen floor it was perfect all around the kitchen cabinets with one piece of vinyl. It was so close that we did not have to replace the toe molding.I also included some photos showing the prep work and installed floor. It turned out to be a perfect installation. Very good communication and a real team effort.

Starting with our salesperson, Mike, he listened to our needs and made recommendations that ended up being perfect for us. The carpet we chose is soft, durable, and will clean up easily ... just what we needed. The installation crew was also great to work with from the time they came to our home and throughout the entire process. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up everything. This was my first order/installation with Malkins. Debra was my sales consultant, and she was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me select the perfect flooring for my four-season room. Their store is huge - lots of brands and options. They sent an installation expert to my home to look at the room, and he worked with me to devise the best way to install the floor. Once the floor was ordered, only about a week passed before I was called to set up the installation. The installer did a great job, cleaned up, and was personable. The whole process was efficient from start to finish.

We were lead here by a local contractor, and I am very glad we were. Its a very nice store, great selection of everything. We were there for carpeting, and the salesman was extremely helpful. We actually decided on one of the first samples he suggested! The staff was very friendly and we were very pleased with our experience. I will add to this review after the installation.

Malkins was out today to install our new kitchen floor. This is the second flooring project that Malkins has done for us. Last year they did a great job in installing our bathroom floor.The service team (Bobby & Chris) arrived on time and did an outstanding job installing our new kitchen flooring!. They moved our refrigerator for us and then proceeded with the installation. The team was very courteous and did an excellent installation job. The finishing trim matched our kitchen cabinets perfectly. They did a great job with their cleanup when they finished their work.The new floor looks beautiful!Thank you Malkins for another job well done!

Sales people are rude and I never received a quote after they came out and measured. I am on a condo association board and I was trying to get new carpeting for our common areas. I called and never got a call back. I went to the store and got the third degree from a sales person who finally took my information. They finally called me after that to set up an estimate, they came out to measure and said I would hear back in a week. I never received a call, email, mailed quote. This was a large job but I guess they didnt want it.

Great selection of tile/flooring, and my sales guy (Nick) was very knowledgeable. I had a backsplash in my kitchen installed. The tile came in within 3 weeks and I was able to schedule my install the following week. The installers were on time, professional and did the job in 6 hours. I was very pleased with there work. I will be back the next time I need any type of flooring.

Found a great carpet that fit our limited budget. Sales person was very helpful and didnt pressure us at all on a decision when I asked to see a few carpet samples just over our budget - we went with the cheaper one.Installation team was fast and friendly. Looks great installed!

Great experience start to end. Our sales rep ordered large samples for us delivered directly to our house which gave us a better idea and tool for us picking out a color. Was able to handle ordering and payment without having to go back to the store which was convenient. Our installers (Jason & Brent) were courteous, friendly and personable. They also took their time to answer any questions we had or explain what they were doing, why and how. Very professional and polite. I couldnt be happier with the whole experience, how it looks, and believe we also got a good deal!

I would rate zero stars if I could. My husband and I have been customers of Malkins over the years several times. We had them replace carpet in our first home and when we built a new home they did the flooring through out. We decided to replace some carpet with wood flooring recently. We went on a Saturday, picked out what we wanted and scheduled the measurement time for the following Thursday. We were told we would have a quote in 5-7 business days. It is now a month later, 5 messages/calls to Malkins for an update and still no response. I have left voicemails and messages with reception to call me but still no response. Our sales person, Alex, is always with a customer when I call. Yesterday I called and asked to speak to a manager and was again transferred to voice mail. I dont know what happened to this company but this is the worst service I have received from any place of business in a long time. I really wanted to spend my money with them and they arent responding. Really unfortunate!!!

Sales experience with Mike was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and also very helpful in allowing us to take many samples home before making our final selection. EAI flooring did the install and they are true pros. The do a fantastic job, they are courteous, thoroughly clean up after themselves, and are very willing to make adjustments to satisfy the customer. An excellent experience!

I had a great experience. When I walked into to Malkins I didnt know what to expect. But, I explained what I was looking for to Scott and he pulled a bunch of samples of carpet for me. He described the differences between products and never got pushy. He called to check in to make sure I had what i needed and encouraged me to come in if I needed more samples. Bob was prompt and always answered or called back in regards to setting a date for installment. I really appreciated how quick and easy the process was to get carpet installed. Mike and Jeff did a great job installing. They took their time to get it right and cleaned up afterward. Thank you to everyone involved.

If you are ever looking for new flooring - I have to recommend this place. They did all of the flooring in our new home and after a year and a half they came back to fix a problem that was caused by our builder. They are amazing - always listened to our concerns - were courteous and promptly came out and solved the problem (all on their dime) I can honestly say I have never dealt with a company like this - OUTSTANDING

Aaron and Brandon installed our wood floor and their work was impeccable. Michael Z. of EAI Flooring installed our carpet and his work was superb. Both crews were immaculate, conscientious, efficient, and very friendly. We highly recommend Malkins as well as the individuals whose expertise made our new floors look so fantastic!

We had a terrible experience here. We were looking to do a relatively small project and eventually after 4 months of trying to be patient, we moved on to another company. There were multiple times that they made errors or did not follow through on things. I called repeatedly to speak with a manager and left several voicemails for her but never received a call back. Even right up to the moment we cancelled, we were never able to speak to a manager. The only good thing they did for me was give me my money back. I went to another local flooring store and had a quote in hand with a date for installation within 4 days AND it was several hundred dollars cheaper. I will never return to Malkin’s.

In addition to the very satisfying Sales experience with Rob, we were even more impressed with both carpet and replacement of our sun room flooring. Mike, Jeff & Jeremy did a fabulous job on the carpet (great clean-up, too); Dylan & Branden were equally terrific on the sun room floor (hard vinyl).

Malkins came to my work and installed carpeting. It was done during the workday and they were extremely courteous to all of us hard at work and made a schedule based around our meetings and lunches for when they could complete the job and work in each cubicle. And the carpet looks great!

Everyone I dealt with was friendly. Once I selected the flooring the measure and install were done quickly. It looks awesome! Very professional staff.

Mike was VERY helpful in explaining the different types of carpeting, pads, density, fiber materials, etc... and gave us a price that could not be beat by other stores. The installation team was on time, friendly, worked efficiently and left the house cleaned up. Also glad to have the lifetime warranty. Was recommended to us by a family member to use Malkins and glad we did!

We recently had a home built for us by a local builder. we chose our flooring through Malkins. We installed about 1800 sq ft of engineered wood floors in our home. when the time came to install our floors we received a phone call telling us that the floor that had been delivered to our home site was the wrong floor - the boxes were labeled correctly but the contents were different. This was obviously an error from the manufacturer. We were very disappointed and had to choose an alternative because our original choice was on back-order. Fast forward 1 1/2 weeks and the new floor was delivered to our home site. Again we receive a call. This time the floor we had chosen was of such inferior quality that it could not be installed. Again this was a manufacturer problem.We received a personal call with apologies from Marty and went to the flooring store to pick out another floor. Needless to say, this was a very stressful course of events. We were able to pick out a new floor of better quality than we had originally chosen and did not have to pay any extra. We are much happier with our substitute floor than we would have been with our original choice. We are very pleased with how Marty made things right for us by taking the blame for something that was a series of unfortunate coincidences that were out of his direct control. I will definitely be going back to Malkins for any future flooring needs based upon the excellent customer service.

The carpet installers did a great job, were energetic, efficient and very pleasant to have in the home. They were very careful moving furniture around tight corners...so no scrapes.

We built our home in the last 18 months with over 5,000 square feet of hardwood flooring, carpet, ceramic tile, vinyl plank, kitchen tile backsplash, and huge walk-in tiled shower all with products selected, purchased, and installed by Malkins. Keith was the salesman with whom we worked and he was amazing - very experienced in the industry and will help you find the best products for your home in terms of quality and value, but is also very patient, allowing you to take time to compare samples to decide whats best for you. The installers were also incredible - best in the business with utmost professionalism and flawless installation - particulary Nick with the hardwood, Travis with the tile, Roger with carpet. We had a manufacturers issue with a product and Malkins was excellent in taking care of it.

I was reminded of it again this time when I was looking for paint at a big box store. I waited 15 minutes before someone helped me and he left half way through when we turned our back to take a smoke break. Keith scheduled an appointment with us, gave us undivided attention and helped us select something within our budget and of high quality. Installation went exactly as planned, on time with complete clean up.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish!! We replaced all our flooring in the house. Joey was so knowledgeable on all their product, and after showing us all of our options, he gave us time to explore and make our decisions. The quality of the product and the professionalism and expert installers were excellent.We couldnt believe that their price includes removal of old flooring/ carpet, and moving of the furniture!! We would recommend everyone to make sure they check out Malkins first, and then try to find a better experience!!

We have been buying from Malkins for over 20 years and have spent thousands on both our homes with them. Sadly to say I will never step foot in this store again. We had them install engineered hardwood in our kitchen, dining room, hallway and laundry room. We recently bought more for our living room and they accidently sold us two extra boxes which totals about $400 in which they will not return. Its sad that a company will lose a customer that has spent well over $20k the past 20 years over a measly $400. That is very poor customer service and will cost them greatly in the long run.

Three separate flooring installations at our newly purchased home and for the first time in 20 years we have had issues with Malkins. Not 1, or 2 but 3. Sorry Marty but, someone else will be doing our flooring from now on.

Very professional company. Ralph and Yelisa took care of a minor flooring problem which a local builder would not stand behind. Needless to say, Malkins will get more business in the future from me. They follow through and ensure the customer is satisfied. Good old fashioned service and follow up that many companies dont possess today!

We had flooring installed in bathroom good job all but the stained trim was not so great but,I guess since it was under the sink cabinet that it would not be seen. The problem came when the installers were finished decided to tell me that the brown stain was spilled and splattered on my concrete drive. One of the worker came back to try and remove it but it will never be the same. I really think that the owner should have followed up, that is what I would have done as a fellow business owner. I hope that the owner will tell the employees not to park on others driveway.

Our project was quite a large one and the whole experience, starting with Scott was wonderful. The crew that did the installation was very professional and did an excellent job. The worksite was always clean at the end of the day and great pains were taken to make sure there was no accidental damage done. I will strongly recommend Malkins to anyone.

Had my basement and stairs carpeted over a year ago. Got exactly what I expected and, over a year later, the carpet is still great.

The installation crew did a great job. They removed the staples from the previous pad on the sub floor and made sure the sub floor was clean before installing the new carpet and pad.

If we have flooring installed in the future, we will definitely ask for him specifically!Michael at Malkins was extremely helpful in helping us pick out the carpet that would work best for the area we needed.The only thing my husband was upset about is that we ended up with approximately 6x9 ft of leftover carpet. He feels that whoever measured, did not do a very good job since we had to pay for this very large piece of extra carpet.

They were professional, polite and enthusiastic about the current job. I would use them again. They vacuumed, removed old carpeting and youd never know that they were there.

Malkins is the BEST! From choosing our carpet and flooring thru install everything is Fantastic!I can now call myself one of Malkins Raving Fans! I picked the new Karastan Smart Strand carpet.It is so soft and also has the flecks of color in it so that it is very forgiving.We chose Armstrong Luxury Vinyl for our two rooms kitchen area. They had to put a sub floor down over our old vinyl tiles because they had asbestos. Initially they told us it was going to take two days but when they cam to install there was one extra installer and they had our floor done in 5 hours! Also we had our floor done on a 45 degree angle which means more work and cutting tiles AND we had it grouted too!We are so proud of our new carpet and flooring from Malkins. I would give them 10 Stars if I could.I recommend everyone to get their flooring from them. They even gave me a bottle of floor cleaner for free!Thank you Malkins!
