Donna Groff Agency is one of the first agents to sign Skyler Elyse at the age of 4 years old. They are a Christian Based agency that truly has the talents best interest in mind. Yes, they do require training as they take many undeveloped actors; and showcases to promote talent to a wider market as Memphis, TN is not a thriving metropolis for acting and modeling. But they also obtain many local and regional auditions and projects for their talent both non-union and SAG. We have had the pleasure of working with them for 5 years now and have been extremely happy with the quantity and quality of our opportunities.
Great location.
To start off, DGA has been my mother agency for the past three years and counting. In the last two years, I have received well around 200 auditions! That being said, I have NOT had the experience you have had Samantha Jeans. YES, the first half year is essentially a training program preparing you as the actor/model. Youre taught how to handle your presence on stage and speaking with agents. The showcase that follows, MidSouth or the ARTS, brings the agents to you. What youre paying for is convenience, time, and money back into your pocket. For instance, say you want to meet five agents around the USA; one from New York, California, Georgia, Tennessee, and Louisiana. Well say the average for meeting and speaking with an agent is $250. Btw, thats not including hotel, food, and travel fees... Youre already sitting at $1250 JUST to have a personal meeting with only five agents! Like I stated earlier, DGA BRINGS the agents to you. As for callbacks after the showcase, the responsibility falls to YOU as the actor/model to follow up with the agents. After the showcase proving that youre a reliable, confident actor/model -- every agency is going to judge if they can trust you -- youll have the privilege of joining acting sites where the auditions begin. If you have concerns or need help with bettering yourself or with auditions or even with life in general, DGA has not once turned me down when I have asked for said help. I say this to emphasize that they are a GREAT agency to start an acting/modeling career. When you join DGA, you join a family.PS: I didnt pay $1000s of dollars for a photo shoot...
Donna Groff is an agency that gives everyone with talent a chance to be in front of the biggest agents in the US . From models, singers, actors, dancers. She gives people that amazing chance.
The agency sent me email confirmation, even called, and I showed up to the interview but nobody was there. I stayed after for 15 minutes and still nobody showed. I was actually STOOD UP by this agency and when asked around if people knew if the workers at DGA were around, nobody had any idea who I was talking about. Then after I emailed them telling them this, they emailed me back and said it was my fault and gave me a bunch of BS excuses as to why they weren’t there. This is an UNPROFESSIONAL agency, and I for one will be taking my business elsewhere. I strongly advise you do the same...
Amazing agency! They open many doors in an industry that is hard to gain access to.
