I love this gym. Help is there if you need it, but otherwise people pretty much leave you alone to do your own thing. Being a larger person, I havent received any judgement or comments while working out. I see people of all body shapes and sizes here. There are plenty of machines and even on during the busiest times Ive never had to wait for an elliptical.

So Happy that there has been a face-lift of this facility. It has been a long time coming. I have been a member since 2016. So Happy 😊 to see the improvement 🙌

Lots of accommodations like tanning beds, massage chairs & beds in addition to gym equipment. Nice atmosphere.

I did reach out to corporate and your mgmt. needs to comprehend that we arent living in slavery days and everyone will not tolerate disrespectful, unjust treatment. Diversity in mgmt. is important and bullying and harassing treatment is disgusting.

This midtown location is really nice. Very clean cemter and offers all the cleaning supplies for all the equipments in the center so that we can clean whatever exercise equipment

I’ma Silver Sneakers member and when I first came too this location it was a weekend and though the service rep at the counter was unable to sign me up they allowed me to use the gym anyway until I saw the manager on Monday. That is great customer service.

I am excited that this facility is in a great central location! Also I’m really glad that management followed up with me about certain equipment suggestions. They seem to be open to what we need and concerned about our well-being.

A fairly basic facility. Clean. Good assortment of equipment. Like all Planet Fitness locations, overall a pretty good value for the price.The showers are the largest Ive every seen at any location. Double soft rain shower heads. And just a whole lot of room in the stall. Not cramped like so many can be, especially if youre a larger person.This place is a bit smaller than most locations. The locker room is small too, and only has a handful of the full length lockers. So if youre coming in with a winter coat, business suit, etc, you may not have a place to hang it up when you change out.Also one of the three showers was out of service on this visit.

Great Community. Everyone is very welcoming and encouraging. They challenge you to grow and work your hardest in and outside of the gym.

I like the environment and the motto, “No Judgment Zone”. Nice friendly and clean environment.

I love PLANET FITNESS ON POPULAR theres no violence period everybody mInd there on business and workout and leave. I give it a 10 for overall being. Very safe environment. Only flaw they have I wish they had more exercising materials and they fix the abb machine and add few extra exercising materials other then that A+ customer service.Still my number 1 go place when it come to exercising been going for abt 2 years now love it.

Broken equipment that stays that way for months. Staff that doesnt enforce rules, esp in weekends. Ive been to several PF in other cities and states, as well as in Memphis, and this one is the worst. Its gone downhill; because it was fine the first few years after it opened.

Great staff, great exercise and a fantastic mission. They are requiring masks and social distancing so we felt very safe.

Great staff! Upbeat! Midtown location. Has the Total Body machine, massage bed and chairs and not just tanning machines. All of us do not and can not benefit from those.

Lots of machine choices treadmill...climbing steps...abs...thighs...love handle targeting machines. Very clean. The staff was on the move regularly sanitizing. Spaced out. Group classes not avaliable. Water fountain closed due to water issue and/or covid. Tv on multiple stations. Staff friendly. Hydro water massage. And other great machines that are only included with black card though.

Nice atmosphere and plenty of equipment to use. People were cleaning equipment after use as requested too.

This place is wretched and ia hetting progressively worse. no longer 24/7, usually filthy bathrooms, and good luck getting a hot shower... will cancel soon

I just had this conversation with a friend when I told her I had joined. She asked me how it was. I told her it was great. Everything is clean; theres always someone walking around wiping down equipment. Everybody minds their own business. Everyone is busy. They have lots of machines and little wait time when Ive been there. When you need help, you just ask one of the staff and theyre responsive and helpful. All in all, Im very happy that Ive joined.

I love this gym.. cheap and has everything you need

Since the reopening from the pandemic I’m at the gym every morning between 6-8:30. The young man and lady there Monday- Friday are great. Making sure the machines are clean, and the restrooms are tidy for each individual use. If you don’t know how to use a machine the young man assist. My original gym was the Winchester location in Memphis. I dreaded going because it always smelled bad, and it was a terrible location. Once I moved to midtown this has been the best experience ever. I absolutely love my judgement free zone!

This is the 3rd gym I’ve tried in Memphis and since starting here, I don’t see myself going to any other gym. I’ve gone here for 3 years now and the staff is so friendly, everything is clean and covid safety regulations are in place, and it doesn’t break the bank!

Went to the gym got it in. Body on point been staying in shape and getting focused so if you need a clean environment to do so feel free to come to planet fitness and this is one of my best location. You need to work out in peace and not be body shamed or shy this is the place to do so.

Great location. Can not beat the hours (24) the facility is very clean. All of the equipment is top notch and clean as well. Plenty of equipment to go around as well. The bathroom and shower are always clean and A+! Haven’t used the tanning bed or any of the hydro massage equipment but it’s there and seems new. The staff has always been friendly to me and awesome with any questions I’ve had. Not anything I can find to complain about.

Nice clean busy location.

Its big and has plenty of equipment. I only wish it had a bench and squat rack that wasnt assisted. Sometimes I dont want the machine doing half of the lifting for me. And NOBODY feels intimidated to see someone in the gym trying to reach new goals. So its a ridiculous notion for why they only have machines. Still, its cheap and I can get a work out in most days.

This is the place to finally get yourself back to health and strength. Everyone there makes you feel so welcome and accepted. There are a good variety of machines and free weights. Joining has been the best decision Ive made in a long time.

I really like this gym and have been going there for years but recently I’ve had two women (one coworker and one friend) independently complain of a random man being in the women’s locker room. They both stopped going to this location. I feel like a gym should at least send an email to its members about stuff like this, even if it’s just to remind people to report suspicious activity.

The staff were so accommodating! I lost one of my new wireless earbuds running on a treadmill. They lifted every treadmill around the area where I lost it and finally helped find it for me!

I love the club! So many good people the vibe is amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming and I love making new friends and watching other’s to learn new routines and exercises.

My trainer Jerell (sp?) Is amazing! He has built me up physically, has a great personality, and knows how to motivate. Awesome staff including Adriana, Zack, Abby and Chelsea.

I love this PF location! More relaxed that some others I’ve been to, which allows for everyone to focus on themselves and get work done. The definition of judgement free!

Live this gym. Customer service is awesome. No judgment here. You get to meet nice people and it’s clean and the staff makes sure everything is wiped clean. I recommend anyone to this gym. Keep up the good work.

Amazing staff

I think this is a great value for the cost. I appreciate the fact that it is generally quite clean. And if anything is out if order it usually gets fixed quickly. At $10 a month you really cant beat it.

Very close to home and much cheaper than what I was paying. Price cant be beat! Plenty of equipment and when I go its never crowded.

I cant say Ive ever had a bad experience here. I go in at check-in, change, get my workout started have noone bothering me. There are lots of machines to use and I can get on my day after that.3/17/20 I love this place! I tried to go at least two or three times a week I tell my co-workers and family and sometimes drag them with me lol.

Clean and professional staff

Nice staff, great location, good equipment. Only improvement I could suggest is for the staff to patrol and correct bad behavior. Weight hording, staying on machines for long periods of time, attire, etc.

I come here every day. There is no criticism in this gym. Friendly members and great equipment. They are all for safety. All around the gym there is cleaning spray and paper towels for members to clean the sweat they leave behind. In order to prevent any infection of some sort. 10/10 gym.

Every time I go because it is a no judge zone I feel comfortable .everyone is helpful.

Coming here is like a second home as much as the staff sees me it should be. You can come in and get a relaxing massage from the chair or bed (Sorry BLACK CARD needed). You can enjoy your favorite sports program while you’re getting your walk on run on or even while you’re on the row machine. I do wish they had free weights but it is safer due to the amount of people coming in before or after work. You can always find an interesting work out or two from others that are training for a competition, doing something extra they learned at CrossFit and even preparing for Saint Jude.

This gym is fantastic and I would know - I have lived in Memphis for a long time and have been to several gyms before I found this place through friends.

The atmosphere at planet fitness is great for a long work-out, if I need some assistance with the equipment I ask someone on staff.

Me and my boyfriends gym. We come after work because the area its in is really accessable and convenient. Always clean, the bathrooms and the gym itself.

A staff member named Autumn works there and she is so fine.

Very Nice Gym, It is definitely judge free. Very diverse crowd of people from different walks of life. The staff is sweeter than a bowl of sugar. ( Literally) They are fabulous. Those sugar plums makes me happy to be American.

I love Planet Fitness Midtown! I love how I can come in, do my workout, not feel harassed or bothered by anyone! Clean showers, equipment is plentiful and sometimes they have free bagels/doughnuts. I pass on those, lol.

This place is clean and the staff seemed friendly, I applauded you on your huge showers with double rain heads. But why do the shower curtains have a sheer strip of fabric running across the top?!?! Showering at public places is never that much fun, but having people be able to look in while youre at your most vulnerable and see everything is quite disturbing. Change your shower curtains!!

Black card member they only allow 5 minutes on massage chairs the norm is 10 to 15 minutes it takes five to even get started.

I went on a busy day, but the place was super clean. And the employees were professional.
