Ive been going to Murphys Music for what it seems like eons. I love the small shop vibe and everyone is always super nice. I was just there and Im building a guitar and needed help! Im so glad I didnt take on my dilemma myself. I got the right help and it was super fast! I learned a thing or two from everyone there and it made my day today as well! This is an excellent store with a friendly staff. The owner Jeff knows his gear as does his team! They have a nice selection of Martin Acoustics, Violins and Cellos that are kept in tune and well maintained in their display areas. Their private lessons department is taught by professional teachers who know how to read and write music.This place is definitely worth checking out!

A real cool small music store. I brought a Martin D28 and a G&L blues boy from him. I’m a collector of guitars. Laid back mom & pop atmosphere. Zero pressure. Musical instruments and gear in different price points. Deep discounts. They also carry used gear. A real musical store run by real musicians. It’s more than a hour from me, but worth it. We need to support small music stores...

The salespeople at Murphys Music were knowledgeable and friendly. I bought a used violin from them a year ago; it was reasonably priced and sounded great. I was so happy with the violin, I went back and bought another one for my younger daughter. With school violin rental costs at $75/year, I will make up my money in no time. I should also mention that the used violins that Murphys Music sell are the same violins that the schools rent out.

The employees here are so sweet and helpful. I have never had a bad experience. They always take time to answer any questions you have without rushing you.
