They are the worst. they try and force you into work potions you dont want or have any interest in. they went as far as calling the job I was at to force me to take something that clearly was not a good fit for me. so many other better staffing agencys out there.

I had the best experience finding a job through Aerotek Staffing Agency in Melville location. I was very impressed how smooth and fast the whole process was. After I applied for a position, I was contacted by an agent Samuel within 15 minutes. He explained me about the position and we set up an interview for the next day. In the office everyone was friendly and helpful. On the interview Samuel gave me more detailed explanation of the position and answered all my questions. I felt like he is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He is always available, his responses are quick and informative. In two days they set up an interview with an employer for me which went very well mostly because Samuel and his manager Michael gave me best recommendations how to prepare for it. They both were very supportive and extremely professional and guided me through the whole process. This company does care about their clients! I would definitely recommend working with Aerotek and you will never regret if you ask for Samuel. Thank you very much!!!

A few months ago I had sat down for an appointment with a recruiter named Joe Koumas and he had insisted he would respond back to me and help me find a position but he never did. I am very disappointed with the inconsistency and unresponsiveness from him and the agency he represents. I’d wholeheartedly say to avoid this agency at all costs... don’t waste your time with Aerotek.

I felt I should share how I was treated today as a new client. I had a scheduled appointment with Victor Lynch a week prior, which I also confirmed via email with Victor the day before. I traveled 50 minutes to the appointment and made sure I was at least 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I waited patiently for 20 minutes, without any acknowledgment from the reception desk associates. After 25 minutes I inquired if he knew I was waiting, the woman said yes and also stated that she understood if I wanted to leave. Since Victor did not have the courtesy to let me know he was running behind, I actually did leave. It was a very unprofessional experience and I would not refer anyone to this firm.

Id stay away from them. They used to be good, I guess new management. I know for a fact I could do better and follow up with prospective clients better than half of those recruiters. Indeed works better it seems anyway.

They located me for a job finding my resume online. They wasted no time in getting me a position (which was great.) In fact, theyll throw you right into a job if they can. They will constantly call you from the day they find interest in you until about a few weeks into your position. If youre unhappy with where you are working, theyll tell you they will help you find another job (if they tell you that at all), but they wont. They will ask you to tell them if you need any time off in the future or to call them when youll be out sick so they can tell your boss/supervisor, but they never do tell them. Ive walked into work the next day after calling out sick with my supervisor asking where I was. Luckily, my supervisor knew they are negligent on this part from other temps he has gotten from Aerotek, and expects it. Now I only tell my supervisor when Ill be out. I was told there was overtime for my job, but my job is strictly against over time, which I heavily relied on in the past. I dont know what its like for other agencies, but get ready for no PTO, no sick time, and no holiday pay.

With the help of Justin I was offered a full time permanent position from the company January 2018 where i currently work and could not be happier. I would give this business 0 stars if it was possible. Not only did they send me on an interview for a job that didnt exist when I had worked with them 15 years ago, but they wont take no for an answer. At least twice a year someone from this company calls me repeatedly asking me if I need a job. No matter how many times I ask them to take me off their call list, they still manage to call me. I have even gone as far as to take down my LinkedIn and deleted my resume off the internet from various websites, yet Aerotek still manages to call me asking if I need a job. It would be nice if they would stop calling me already. If I ever needed a new job I would not ask Aetotek for help.

Due to unfortunate circumstances I was suddenly out of a job at a critical time in my life. However, thanks to the very persistent work of Gurnik & Justin at Aerotek i was able to have a quick turn around.In less than 1 week i had an interview lined up for another (better paying) job.
