We were treated very professionally by your employee. My problem was with the up front charges and forced insurance.later found another storage unit that was larger for the same price without all the other fees your company was charging! The lady who helped us was courteous and knowledgeable...

We’re only human, and silly me forgot to double check my lock to make sure ALL OF MY BELONGINGS were safe and secure. Thank goodness they have our best interest because I received a courtesy call to inform me the lock was not effective. When I didn’t answer I was happy to receive a second attempt to reach me and let me know before moving on with her day! Thank you so much 😊

Stay away. Climate controlled is false advertising. After 7 months there was mildew on clothing & furniture. You can smell it when you walk into the AC controlled building. They take no responsibility. And they are expensive. Try Mini Storage instead. Incredibly helpful, very clean, free truck usage, free shelving, dolly usage. And less money. No I do not work for them. Just luckily found them for a quick move in the hopes of saving my things from more avoidable damage.

The price good price on a 12 x 30 unit with a roll up door opening of 10 8. All other storage units I have found from other places only have an 8 door and cost more for the same size unit. Rachaele was very helpful she showed me the unit to verify the the exact door opening dimensions and would work for what I was wanting to store.

We needed to unload our rental truck in a hurry so we could return it. At public storage we were helped by Corlis who had us taken care of, basically, in about 15 minutes! Bravo my good lady!

The lady in the office is excellent. I work for UPS so we are in contact a lot, always pleasant always helpful.

The site manager, Kelly, makes renting a joy. Of all the office staff that I see she is the most personable. Not only does she take care of the office but makes sure that the property has a safe and clean environment for renters -- Ive seen her using a mop and leaf-blower! -- and promptly takes care of maintenance issues. Lets face it - we all want the website to work correctly, but it just doesnt. However, Rachaele will make it alright! This is an incredible location - clean, reasonable, easy access, secure, but the best part is being able to pick up the phone, or go by and talk to Rachaele. She will help you any way she can and she will correct any problems IMMEDIATELY. There are a lot of storage places closer to my home, but this is the only location I will use because I know Rachaele is there and will see to it that my things are safe and my account is correct.

Went to a competitor down the street. Never greeted or welcomed. The gentleman behind the counter honestly was not wanting my business. He kept telling me what he thought I needed with total disregard.to what I was looking for. I knew immediately that unless the unit was free I was walking away. Left there went a few blocks down the road to Public Storage and was I ever happy I did. Bill and Shawn greeted me as soon as I stepped through the door. Listened to what I needed and set me up accordingly. What a huge asset these guys are to your company. During my visit there, I watched them handle other customers with the same courtesy and professionalism. They truly made what was becoming a frustrating situation for me pleasant. Got my unit and would highly recommend you go see these guys if you need a unit and appreciate being treated like happy customer! Help up the great work Bill and Shawn!

Clean, bright facility with a friendly, professional property manager.We stopped by without an appointment to view the property. The property manager onsite showed us all of the units we requested and was patient with us as she answered all of our questions.I appreciated the bug/rodent deterrents in each of the units we viewed.When we visited a property down the street and I asked about bugs/rodents their response was: Well, it is Florida.This little detail of being proactive with bug/rodent control was one of the deciding factors for our choosing Public Storage instead of the other place.

Mary called to let me know my online reservation was accepted & when could I come in to do paperwork. Went in the next day and Mary was very professional and helpful. Was happy to show me the size storage I would need & helped with paperwork. The office and grounds are extremely clean and well kept.

After looking around at different facilitates, I came across Public Storage on Wickham road. The facility was very nice and Bill was extremely helpful and super sweet. Im so happy that I found this place and such a helpful person like Bill, to get me all situated!

Public storage as a company are ripoffs they continue to raise your rent every few months. They couldnt care less about the ones that have been renting from them for linger periods of time. I would avoid public storage for storing for longer than a couple months cause otherwise by the time a year rolls up your rent will almost double.

Good idea to check other places before your rental at this place . The dollar rental for the first month is not actually a dollar either so bring some money w you . In one month my unit went from $200 to $248 so beware before you rent ! They went from reasonable prices to most expensive in town . I and a couple other people will be moving to a better place this month .

I finally moved out of my storage unit after 12 years. I never had any problems the entire time I was there. The people there over the years were always nice and friendly. When I moved in I thought I would only be there for a short time but my mother needed help and eventually got very sick and time went by so quickly. The only thing is that I wished the rent hadnt gone up so much ($364) over the years. There should be a cap on how much you can charge a person. Other than that, the place is clean and Bill was very informative when checking out.

Was called by Shawn after I ordered online. Made an appt to go over and get signed up. Shawn then called again to verify i would be coming. I appreciated the reminder. Bill helped me set up the rental. Went over all the paperwork. Made sure the gate worked, showed me the unit and made sure i knew how the lock worked. My second time using Public Storage and was very pleased by how I was treated at this property. I highly recommend them.

A clean and modern facility with very Professional Management. I have rented from several different storage facilities within Ohio over the last 20 years. By far Public Storage Outshines them all. The architectural design of this particular facility also left me impressed.

Bill by far was great! I knew what i wanted and he was able to take me through the motions and let me get on with my day. There were some calls during the time i was checking out with Bill and he didn’t stop with me and answer the phone, he finished what he was doing and then returned the call. I appreciated that( even though i know someone needed something, but he is only one guy). Overall good service and everything was throughly explained. Good job Bill!!

I came to this place looking for a small storage unit, the staff was great. The manager bill was extremely helpful and kind. Clean facility. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Bill was very helpful. Nice and secure storage unit. Only issue is the pop up fees that come up when there to get your unit. Add $23 for a lock and another $25 for fees and then another fee. I went in thinking I was going to pay $26 for the first month. Then it totaled to $61.oo. Still a good deal for first month.

Outstanding experience with this facility. We needed a short term storage solution for our 2018 Challenger on short notice. They were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be using them again if we have any storage needs.

Needed temporary storage for about a month and a half for my move from Nebraska to Melbourne Beach. Reservation was quick and easy. We had a big moving truck during the unload, which Linda/team made a great effort to accommodate (Thank you very much). The management and Linda did an outstanding job of keeping me informed and communicating everything related (billing, etc.) to our brief stay. It was refreshing to experience that type of customer service. Would highly recommend this storage company at this location.

UPDATE: 3 days after this post (4/4/19) I was contacted by a district manager interested in my complaint and concerns. I did not expect this as most companies really don’t care enough to respond, Public Storage obviously does! Stay tuned, my hope is they honor the promise to help, based on my conversation I believe this will happen, and my review will improve, as will my opinion of the company as a whole!Helped a friend out by getting this set up while she was at work. ( I know foolish me) but beware there is no way to change the “liability” due to the dark ages system they have set up and MAKE SURE to read the fine print on the back of the contract!!!Even if you are going to be using the locker for 1 day after the 1st of the month they will charge you a FULL month of rent!!! This company does not have the customer in mind at all and their “we care” line is condisending and short. They will try to end the call before you are done asking questions. There is no way to prorate a month, so that means if you move out early just know you are going to have to pay the whole month. I will never recommend this company to anyone or use them ever again!!! Next complaint is BBB and anywhere else I can!

Bill was very helpful and helped my mom and I look for a storage unit for our car due to the hurricane Irma. We booked a storage unit last minute so there was none available left. I was getting ready to leave, do to continual corporate rate increases. Bill and Nicole helped get me into a comparable unit at a considerably less expensive rate. Thanks guys. Hopefully the people at the corporate office which continue to up our costs get their heads screwed on straight soon.

Shawn was very helpful. I knew which size I wanted and reserved it online prior. When I met Shawn, he reviewed all the information and showed me my small unit. We also tried my gate code. I am happy with my unit. The property is well kept and close to my home.

In the last 10 years I have used storage lockers in 7 states for about 9 of those years. Public Storage is definitely one of the more organized and customer oriented facilities. Mike/Mary/Linda all are very professional and courteous. I have often commented on how they keep track of the names of all their tenants. I highly recommend the 1450 N. Wickham location. My only complaint was some access issues very early on and the management resolved the issue beyond my expectations. The place is very clean and well maintained. I hope the management department sees this review. Mike, I personally want to again thank you for your customer service skills.R/C

Mary and Bill were extremely professional and helpful facilitating my storage needs! They showed me the best options and how I could save money and went out of their way to ensure I was satisfied.

I got in at a good start rate, and stayed for three months. Linda was an angel! She made timely phone calls and gave friendly reminders about payment and late fees. She really takes care of her customers, always wears a smile, and the facility is really lucky to have her on their team. I hope there is something special in store for her, no pun intended. :-)The facility itself is clean and well-maintained. I would say the prices are pretty fair, but I still couldnt afford it. I appreciated the daily rates at the end, though. The few extra days to move out helped me get out of there at a much cheaper price than paying for the entire month.My only problem was the hours of operation. You cant get in past a certain time, and my family and I almost got locked in one night. We tried calling a manager, but got nobody. Luckily, someone else came through and opened the gate. Phew!All-in-all, a great facility with great people. Very convenient. I would store my things away with them all over again if I had to, and I have to say, Linda made the difference by making it memorable and enjoyable.Great job, Linda and team!

I checked into the Public Storage at 1450 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL today and was enthusiastically greeted by manager, Linda. I liked her professionalism coupled with a down-home friendliness which conveyed an attitude that said I appreciate you selecting us as your storage facility. She took the time to address what we would pay, how the facility operated, the hours and security codes and most importantly, seemed proud of the business. She was clearly vested in the performance of the Public Storage at this location. It was nice that there were no surprises - the cost quoted was what we were supposed to pay. We were shown the storage unit, the locking system was explained, and Linda provided storage and moving in tips. We threw her a curveball by asking if any climate controlled units were available and shockingly, she was not irritated that we might change the contract at this point, but was excited to tell us that two such units had become available. We switched to the climate controlled unit and Linda shuttled us off on a golf cart to see that unit as well. The price for this unit was only slightly more and Linda seamlessly led us through the paperwork process, taking the time to summarize and interpret the document we were about to sign. She also took the time to give us advice, tips and restaurant reviews about the area, making us feeling welcome as newcomers to Melbourne, but also to the Public Storage community. Her asst. manager, Shawn, was equally pleasant and informative, describing how the secured access entry system works and also being just darn friendly and educational about the area. Most importantly, the storage buildings were well maintained, the unit we rented was clean and well lit, and the security in place was as advanced as I have seen anywhere. I felt that Linda and Shawn both believed they could do their jobs better if they knew a bit about their customers and their efforts to do that were appreciated. By asking us about our goals, we were able to make the best decision for a storage unit to rent, and the amount of time to rent it. While I only stored by belongings today, I left Public Storage feeling confident and relaxed because I knew my belongings were in good hands.

We stored household items for 4 years at this location and it has been a great experience working with the Manager and Staff. Linda has been especially helpful as we were in another state for four years and she really assisted us with coordinating our move and picking up all of our items. This is my second experience with a Public Storage. My first was in Ohio, the service there was fine...nothing overly spectacular but nothing horrible either, just so so. My second experience was at the one in Melbourne Fl located of Wickham. I was impressed with this facility. Bill and Cory were the two working the day I came to sign my paper work. I had reserved the unit online and was going to ask to see it first but they suggested it before I could ask. Bill walked me out and told me all about their location and the security and so on. He spoke to me as a person and not just a number/customer like most places do these days. I was very pleased with my initial visit and have nothing but high hopes for the duration of time I will be doing business with them. I would recommend them to someone looking to rent a unit.

Rip-off dont just ANYTHING they say. They also will charge you for days you dont use after you move out and they will double rent units.

I had 3 different people help me out, Shawn, Bill and Nicole. They all helped me in different ways, very helpful, extremely friendly and courteous. They made it easy and the experience was wonderful, definitely would do business there again.

Everything about Public Storage was excellent. The representative I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions. When I arrived, Mary had everything on file that I had discussed via the telephone earlier. The unit will meet our needs perfectly. She explained the rates, codes etc. and I left with a great feeling.

Friendly and attentive people working in the front office. Linda did a great ringing up my rent. Mike was helpful explaining the cart situation. I hope that the corporation could purchase a few more carts for the storage area.

The office staff is AMAZING! Ive had to switch units a couple of times and everytime the switch has been easy and seamless! Its clean and secure.... I feel safe about my belongings being stored there!

My stay at public storage was very simple from the reservation I made in Alaska to the reception I received from Linda when I arrived to store my motorcycle for a short period. I had a stellar experience at this Public Storage location. The staff, Linda especially, was helpful, professional and polite. The terms of the agreement were clearly explained to me so I understood what I needed to do to avoid any additional fees upon vacating my storage unit. If I ever have need of a storage unit again I will definitely go to this location.

This storage business is clean and most importantly very secure. The whole time I did not have any issues. It is well run and up kept constantly. If i ever need a storage again or someone does that I know needs one, this will be the storage establishment I point them to.
