This is more of which a rant about USPS as a whole... not this specific location. Ive had a pretty bad experience with them no matter where I go.They frustrates me so much on so many different levels. Weve had to switch to them for our business shipments and its been nothing but annoyance after annoyance with them. Their shipping is so slow compared to anything else and it always arrives at its destination way later than what the tracking information states. Our packages are much more beat up and damaged when they finally get to us now.They dont ship our packages together but will list 5 separate boxes from one order under a single tracking number. Its pretty much impossible to track anything like that accurately because if one box gets delivered, the tracking information will be marked complete even though we havent recieved the other 4 boxes.... and we never, ever receive all 5 boxes at once even though youd think they would ship them together... they all come from the same place at the same time.They have lost our packages on more than one occasion, one being an 8 thousand dollar order. Their response was to lie to us and say that they didnt ever receive the packages from our wholesaler, attempting to shift blame even though the tracking information stated that it was recieved and shipped. Our wholesaler contacted them because of this and then USPS told them a completely different story, saying that it was on the way. Shocker.... it never arrived and our wholesaler had to get their lawyers involved to get us our money back.Just little things like this are so annoying when youre trying to run a business. And it hasnt just been a one or two time type of ordeal... its like a constant battle with them. I would use other shipping methods in a heartbeat if there wasnt regulations preventing my industry from doing so. We can only use USPS and its by far been the worst shipping experience Ive had. Ive never experienced such aloof behavior from a shipping carrier. Im super frustrated with USPS.
Absolutely DO NOT use this location AT ALL. I have had 1000s of dollars in inventory lost, horrible customer service, everything to these employees feels like an inconvenience to them. Multiple times I’ve had them reroute me to the distribution center instead of actually helping me, when Ive talked to the distribution center first because I was tired of coming to this location. They then had the audacity to ask me “where’s your proof that they sent you back here?” They never seem to know what’s going on with any of their packages and don’t seem to care. I even saw one instance of someone bring a package back that was delivered to the wrong address and the employee told them “I don’t know what you want me to do with it” and to “just toss it”, which I’m pretty sure is ILLEGAL. If you value your time, your money, and your effort do not use this location by any means.
I’ve been to this post office more than 30 times. It is a nice low key post office. The wait can take awhile but that is normal with a place like this. Services are highly needed. Everytime I go here, I get all my needs taken care of! Thank you!
I was watching the tracking number on a package for the last couple of days. It said it was out for delivery yesterday. It never came. It then said at 10:20am that they attempted delivery (Not the case) and that it would be available for pickup at Carrier location. It didnt specify a location, so I went to my closest USPS location (which is this one.) The wait in line wasnt too bad, then I was asked to come forward to, Im guessing, the manager, because he was seated in the room to the left of the counter. I started to explain my situation, but he started getting irritated, stood up and ushered me out of the room saying that my package is not here and points to a small sign saying that I will need to pick up my package at a different location in Central Point. (Would have been nice to know from the beginning.) There was a woman there that was having the exact same issue, which leads me to believe it is a common one. I got my package in the end, but whats with this run-around?
So tired of my mail being held for pickup because my mail carrier does not want to navigate my driveway carrying a package.Its right on the corner in a residential area, and backs in sort of crooked but its a duplex where our neighbors are gone and he could easily pull in the driveway if he didnt want to park on the street.Im disabled. I cant just haul myself to the post office every time I order a package and the delivery driver doesnt want to bring it to my door. Ive had talks with them before but it just happened again.Then they claim delivery attempted, yet no one ever tried. Since Im disabled, Im home all the time with a care worker who can easily get the door to get packages. They just dont want to carry it up.Its a small trash can for medical waste, not an entertainment center. And I cant even get through to a rep without going through a nightmare on the phone. I have better things to do...like trying to live.
If I could give a negative star, I would. I have never had such horrible service in my life. This post office is the absolute most unprofessional and does not care about how they treat people and the services THEY PAY for.
I am so irritated today. White city mail delivery is getting so messed up that people are actually going on to the white city community group to ask neighbors if they accidentally recieved a package that was supposed to be delivered to them. We have to track down our missing or misdelivered mail. It finally happened to me and I am not one bit happy. On June 4 I received notification that my package was delivered at 1:03 PM. If it was delivered, it was not to me. I do not trust USPS to deliver anything, anymore.
Say they attempted delivery when I was home all day AND have a video doorbell that confirmed no one came by. Tried to call multiple times and confirm which location my package is at (have been burned in the past when just stopping by/waiting in line at the Riverside location and then being told the package is elsewhere), but they dont answer their phone - it goes to a recording that says answering system off. How is that OK? Horrible, horrible service - wish zero or negative stars were options.

My Medford postal delivery service has twice dropped the ball on pick up and delivery and both times I sent timely birthday cards needing to be delivered not to mention getting payments needed for business!
Multiple packages lost and sent to wrong addresses. Incredibly frustrating to deal with. No one answers the phone and the robot number will not get you anywhere you need to be.

How can packages consistently get lost at this facility? I have had packages waiting from December 23 and we are currently at the 11th of January. I get there is a holiday but you guys suck.
The clerks are very friendly and knowledgeable. However, there is not enough help so plan a minimum of 30 minutes waiting. It is even more on the weekend.

My wife had an appointment with the passport office to get a new passport today. Scheduled the appointment online, arrived on time and everything. She just called me crying. CRYING, because the guy in the passport office asked her what are you doing here? proceeded to belittle her for having the incorrect form, and had a terrible attitude. HE CALLED MY WIFE RUDE TO HER FACE! Tried calling every phone number I could find, only to have the same results as other reviewers. constant ringing, and nobody picks up. The standard or customer service is obviously not upheld here. Wed rather drive hours to another office before we return here.
There is a guy stealing mail out of boxes on my street, I have reported it numerous times and they do zero about it. Also, packages go missing at this facility all the time. Its beat to go to the one in CP instead. These guys cant be trusted.
I have a small business where I sell hand painted pots and both pots I sent through the mail to clients were completely shattered. I noticed when I dropped off the box and gave it to the post office guy he threw the box around even though the box had FRAGILE written on it! I am completely shutting down my business on Etsy because I apparently cannot trust the local shipping..... too much money is being wasted.
My ring door bell camera shows a portal work walk up to my door knock set down box and proceed to kick and stomp on the box destroying my wife anavery present. Th his company is luck there the only I can have deliver my mail.
Carrier marked my address as No Access to Delivery Location . Thats BS because Im on a residential street and was sitting in my Livingroom. Nobody attempted to deliver at all. Carrier lies! Stick with FedEx!!
I just want to say that I had a wonderful experience with a post man by the name of Art, who delivers to both my home and work place. I had ordered a package online that was supposed to come to my home address, it had gone missing... I asked him about it when he was dropping off mail at the office I work at - and with in a couple of hours he returned to personally deliver it to me. In my opinion that is going well beyond when it comes to customer service. Hes amazing.
Why, on the busiest Saturday of the year, is there only ONE teller? No problem in raising costs though!?

Worst passport services. The worker there has a very bad attitude I don’t know how he’s still working there. I had an appointment at 1:30 and got there at 1:15. The Person who had an appointment before me didn’t show up and he proceeded to help the line of people sending mail, instead of helping me, who was waiting in line for a new passport. He’s very disrespectful.

I have an important letter coming from Oregon health in Portland, usually takes three days to get mail from Portland and I’m now going on eleven days
I dont know why they bother to have a phone number when you cant even speak with a real human being.
This place is a hole like the rest Medford. Not enough workers, the building is already falling apart, and the homeless have turned this establishment into a sleep shelter making the post office close the 24 po box access off. I lived in Detroit and their post offices were nicer than this. FAIL!
As stated before, no one answers the phone. I was able to contact the Rogue River Post office on the first time, and the person who helped me was excellent. I will go out of my way to avoid this post office in the future.
Great service for such a small post office. The room the counter is set up in is very small, and the line often goes out that door into the main lobby, which is a bit awkward and inconvenient sometimes. The employees generally do a great job with keeping the line run smoothly. The main lobby has a self serve kiosk available 24hrs a day. The kiosk only accepts debit/credit, jo cash, and doesnt offer all of your shipping needs (like media mail option, etc) but it has basic options and it prints the labels out for you. The lobby also has its letter and package drop boxes available 24hrs.
DONT COME HERE FOR YOUR PASSPORT NEEDS! If you are planning to come to this office for your passport, DONT. Both clerks who helped me were arrogant and petty bureaucrats who went out of their way to try to make me feel stupid and to make things a lot more difficult than necessary. When I questioned their initial refusal to accept my proof of citizenship, then the next thing you know, gee...my photo was not correctly applied to the application so I had to spend another $15 for him to take a new photo. Spare yourself the aggravation and make the drive up to Rogue River Post Office.....the agents there are friendly and helpful. The passport agents at this location are TERRIBLE.
Went to two Office locations in Medford and the employees at all too comfortable with putting their hands up and saying not my job!. Very frustrating, poor customer service. They would not even punch in the tracking number I had. Not asking for much, just do your job and provide good customer service. Now I sit and wait on a Saturday while my postman is for some reason 1 hour past normal delivery time. Just frustrated.
Most of the reviews here deal with everything except this USPS branch. How can you possibly blame something like your ID or your long drive to the post office on this branch and these people? This is the problem with reviews on line, they can paint a beautiful picture of a trashy place or vice versa.
My package was picked up in Medford Oregon on Monday, I live in Rogue River Oregon 30 miles away. But the tracking history says it was shipped to Portland,then stayed a while then shipped back to Medford now it’s in route to Rogue River on Saturday,a whole lot of time or whole lot of waiting for nothing please fix this.

Good people and helpful but boy the design of this post office is terrible. Doest take but a few folks to make it look exceedingly crowded.
Recently moved across town. Filled the change of address online and received confirmation. Filled out the form in the new mailbox requiring that I tell them who lives at my house, TWICE, a form I have never had to fill out before to get my mail. Got one day of mail. Now they are withholding our mail because the carrier says we did not fill out the third form he left. I fear that our new carrier is unstable.
They do not pick up the phone and do not have a recording to explain what you can do. Answering system off is all you get. When you finally get someone, they usually do not know the answer and send your call to a different Oregon. Hours must be wrong since no one will help till almost 11am. Plan for long lines and little help.
Ordered my kids school cloths online. Checked the tracking number. USPS had sent it back saying my address was wrong..... Ummm no my address was correct!!! So now I have to wait three weeks to get the crap I should have gotten yesterday! I tried calling them to see why the mess up and no answer. I absolutely hate this place!!!
A+ Service I have only had to make 73 calls (Verified by my call logs) to get no answer. I really wanted to call the post office all day because they dont know how to deliver mail only to not actually speak to anyone after 73 calls.
Why have a phone number if theres no one there to answer the F*&%ing PHONE!!!!Hours of operation are from 9-5... guess what. Most people work from 8-5. My mailman is too incompetent to put the right mail in the right box. This is becoming a problem. I dont want my neighbors getting my income statements, and banking mail. But they are. One neighbor has knocked on my door and returned my mail, but not all my neighbors are that decent. This has become a threat to the security of my information.

Instead of the manager hearing me out she got short and VERY rude and defended them saying they dont have time to wait for me to come to the door. (takes me a few seconds to get to the door) When I told her they need to at least try, she cut me off and said she will look into it (in a rude tone of voice) and then hung up on me.

At times this station can be extremely busy. Debbie and the gang are really awesome at their job and make waiting are real pleasant experience.

Came in around four, and it was busy, two people in front of me, but they had 3 counters open and where quick about moving people though. Mike was even kind enough to help me figure out the certified mail and return labels.

Some of the worst business experiences Ive ever had have been with our local usps. I will always pay extra to avoid them ever touching my mail if I can help it.Always late, smashed, broken, and often they wont even attempt to deliver anything theyll just give you the we attempted to deliver slip and YOU have to come get it! And if you want/need to do that good luck! I had to once, and when I called they lied to me constantly (one girl who answered lied and said that they werent usps two times. The third time she stopped lying and finally answered as usps), then they said they had no idea where the package was I was supposed to pick up. Spent a whole day just trying to find out what the &$(! Happened to my package.Ridiculous.
Extremely understaffed for passport applications. Clerk was very sarcastic and impatient. Will never recommend this location to anyone needing a passport. Shame on Medford for not have better locations and facilities.

Just moved from White City to Medford...5 miles away. Filed a change of address online that cost $1.05 to file. Three days after it took effect, went to new mailbox to get our mail and found a slip that said We show this property as VACANT. If you now live here, fill out names of people who live here. Hello?!?! Isnt that what I paid money to do when I filed the change of address online??!!?? And the mail carrier should have known I filed it because I imagine they are holding our mail, but did they even take a moment to walk 30 feet to my door on day THREE to alert me to the slip??!!?? Not impressed with my new Medford mail carrier(s)....so much for USPS Customer Service.
I mailed a package from Boise, Idaho on December 17th 2014. The package was supposed to be delivered on Monday December 22nd 2014. On December 20th, the package was sent to Ashland, Oregon for some unknown reason and it sat there in limbo, without any tracking updates, for six days. I called USPS customer service today. The representatives on that end were very helpful. And then my package was delivered miraculously about an hour or two after I placed a complaint. Oddly, the package showed up to my familys door without a USPS approved label and they made my family pay another $14.90 to receive the package that I had already paid for and that they had lost (because, lets face facts, the tracking only stopped once it hit Medford and Ashland). I called USPS. Again, the representatives did what they could from their end so the real idiocy lies with the Medford and Ashland postal service and their lack of care when it comes to delivering what is obviously a Christmas gift in a timely manner without double charging for it. My local postal service here in Boise called to apologize. I havent heard anything but a busy signal from the post office in Medford and I doubt that I will. So beware if youre sending a package to Medford and send double postage to make sure the recipient gets it.
Package was dropped off by UPS at the Medford post office on the 2nd, today is the 12th and the package was supposed to be delivered on the 6th. No idea where it is. No one at the post office answers the phone either. Im sitting here without really any idea what to do. This is probably the 5th time Ive been a part of bad service there too but theres really no other options as far as shipping goes.

They didnt put much thought into their remodel. The line goes out the door, your constantly having to move to let people around you and theres usually one clerk on duty to help 30+ people. I try to avoid it at all costs

Indecent customer service. Very rude and impatient with its customers. They never answer their phone, and dont even have an answering service set up. They dont care about their service to others, just about a paycheck. Horrible.
I needed to turn in a passport application and the government passport website said to do it here. So I use my lunch break from work to go just to find that its an empty lot. The whole buildings gone and nobodys bothered to update the information. I have no idea now if Medford even has an official post office and if they do where its located.

Ive changed my address THREE TIMES since Ive moved to my current address and they still send mail to my OLD address. Ive spoken with employees over the phone to get this resolved, but they still cant seem to come through on such a simple request. The level of incompetence is frustrating.

I dealt both with Riverside office and Parcel 800 number. The office on Riverside after repeated calls, could not leave a message, all inboxes were full, couldnt talk to anyone PERIOD!!!! I called, the 800 number for the local pick up, message said a hour to hour and half wait, to talk, to someone!! The postal office, needs a 100% change, they should all be, replaced, reprimanded, no excuse PERIOD!!!!
Passports- they dont make photocopies. What do they even do?? Never gone to a passport acceptance facility that online takes the picture. USELESS
