This location has become my favorite car rental location in the greater Boston area. Ive been surprised on multiple occasions by the quality of service, attention to detail, and kindness from multiple members of their staff. Plus, the rates are often the most affordable in this region. Highly recommended!
It was quick to be able to pick up the car but on a freezing day, they werent allowing customers in to wait (there was one other person who was also outside). The car I picked up absolutely stunk of smoke even though no smoking is allowed, it had two tires with low air pressure that I immediately had to fill, and no washer fluid which I also had to fill. They should be running ozone generators in these cars between customers and just making sure the basics are covered. If I wasnt familiar with cars I would have had to bring it back for the warning lights.
Be very careful when renting a car at this location .Make sure to always take pictures of before and after of the car you are renting . They have stabbed my mother in the back in pricing a damage they claim she did to their car which was less valued by our mechanic. I saw the car before returning it to the body shop which was fixing her own car . There was no damage . But didn’t take picture (my mistake ) and now can’t prove it we didn’t do the damage . They would not provide us the option to the camera images or let us fix it with our mechanic who clearly said the damage was half the price we have to pay for it .Customers be aware!!!!

I cant say enough wonderful things about my experience renting from here. I reserved an SUV and the day before my pick up date, someone called to confirm my reservation. I spoke with Anna and she assured me that she would do her best to accommodate my request for a Jeep. No promises were made but she went above and beyond and she delivered! When I went to pick up the vehicle I was in and out in about 15 mins, maybe less. Anna was so so so sweet! The car itself was beautiful and very well maintained. I was confident I was putting my daughter in a safe vehicle. No corners are being cut! I decided to extend my reservation and Trandoe walked me through everything over the phone. I had a lot of questions about billing and he was so kind and patient. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and he made sure I understood. Hes just effortlessly nice and good at what he does. The drop off process was just as easy as the pick up. Overall, this was a 5 star experience! I have zero complaints and Im positive Ill be renting from them again in the very near future. I booked thru carrentals.com- My wife was moving from Boston to Maryland. I booked a midsize SUV SIMILAR TO RAV-4. When I went at the location to pick up on 12/22/20 evening 17:00 hrs. Firstly, car was late. A unpleasant surprise was greeted when they gave me Nissan Kick which has 32ft3 space and justified it as mid size suv similar to Rav4 which has 60 ft3 boot space.On top of that, when I explained my problem to one of the gentlemen over the office, he was shrewd to tell me they dont care for what reason I have booked the car. I had to leave 4 boxes worth of luggage back in Boston and throw it. This was a pathetic service I ever experienced in my entire life in USA.I was handed a fuel tank with 332 miles left in it and I returned the car with a full tank [407 miles fuel] at 446 N Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, Maryland, 20877-2416. I specifically informed that I need to be refunded for the difference of miles, the lady kindly said yes. When I see the charges, it wasnt refunded!!!You must rename yourself from enterprise to CONPRISE! Most unethical and unpleasant service experience ever. I will never recommend or use ur services in future. Goodbye forever!!!!_______________________________________________________________________So just following up on this, I was happy to receive the call from a management person from Medford Enterprise;she offered me to revert some charges, following which they gave me $50.00 for gas and compensation when I requested $150.00.Nevermind, to my pleasant surprise; I am charged today again the $50.00 that was issued to me as refund.is this a joke? Colonial VW down the street took literally 4 months to fix my car... but at least provided a rental stipend. Enterprise hooked me up with a Camaro for a month. Great staff!
Renters Beware!! Unfortunate incident recently with this branch. Trying to help a friend, a nurse working tirelessly to help our community, getting service on her vehicle, which was to be covered by the service company. Miscommunication happens. Justin gives his word that the card will NOT be charged. Surprise, they hit the card. Justin’s best professional response; ‘What are you going to do?’ Enough with these big corporations bullying people and thinking they can get away with it! It was far beyond the money, at that point.Rally out front of Enterprise on July 23rd. Media coverage included. I have been renting cars from Enterprise for many years. I have found this company and its many employees (in MA) to be very professional. Also, the many agents that I have met have treated me with real and concern for my individual customer issues. I dont need to go anywhere else!
With COVID, my usual location was closed so I was directed to the Medford office. Nonetheless they provided excellent, simple and timely assistance. Tough times to be traveling by Enterprise made it easy for me and reasonably priced versus the competition.
I have rented many times from Enterprise. Their prices are good and their service is excellent. In this time of Covid everything was fine electronically. When I arruved, the service rep capabilities and in less than 10 minutes I was in my way with the exact automobile we had agreed upon.

I prefer Medford Enterprise over my own neighborhoods Enterprise for the simple fact that their customer service skills are impeccable. I had no waiting time. They worked with me with daily rates, also weekly rates, and monthly rates. I have personally dealt with Ryan, Maddie, and Justin and let me just say those three are the winners. Everytime I rent from this location I have no issues. They even call to check in and see how Im doing.

We rented a car from this location on a very busy Saturday, we got there 20 minutes after they closed and the associate, was nice and took great care of us. She was very friendly, professional and had us on our way quickly. Upon return Joe the manager took care of us. He was also very friendly, professional and provided us excellent customer service. It was a great experience from pick up to return. Thank you to Joe and his team for excellent customer service and it was such a nice touch to have gotten dropped off at the T. Will definitely rent from the location on Mystic again!
I have rented many cars in my day, several from Enterprise agencies. This group is by far the most helpful crew. The manager, Joe Fargo, sets an atmosphere of TRULY wanting to help the customer. I found them all pleasant, cheerful, and efficient. In no time I had a nice car and was on my way. Return was also efficient. They called a cab to take me to Logan Airport. All went smoothly. The most amazing thing is, when they picked me up to take to to their office, I left a box in the back seat which I did not remember until an hour later. I called; they had rented that car! They tracked it down and sent an employee to the location to pick up my box and held it for a week until I returned their car. I find that kind of service, cheerfully done, to be outstanding. (As a disclaimer, I do not know any of these folks, do not live in Massachusetts, just a person who recommends them highly).
Ive used this location several times for both personal use and when my Jeep needs repairs under warranty. Each time its been a painless experience, especially my most recent interaction with one of the team members, Joe. He went above and beyond to make sure the rental was taken care of by the dealership, and that I was swapped into a vehicle similar to one closest to my own once they had one available. I look forward to renting from this location, and Joe again soon.

The staff at this office was stunningly helpful, including making a lot of calls on our behalf looking for a car that we could pick up at a downtown location the evening before our reservation. Aside from that, they answered the phones every time I called, were friendly, and gave us a ride to the T after drop-off. Car was exactly as promised, in excellent condition, and process was easy and quick.

7/2 returned the rental that I’ve had for a month to mystic Ave Medford. Now I’ve rented a car every month for the last yr almost, I’ve always had the best experience with the crew, pick-up, drop off, prices, & selection. I never had a single bad word to say towards this place until I had to deal with Channing (I believe is his name). 1) he has zero customer service skills, I was trying to let him know the exp. sticker was expired. He completely dismissed me. 2) he accused me of smoking in the car & refused to wait for me to respond to his question. His mind was made up, and I do NOT smoke in any of my rentals. In fact I clean the car before I return it & fill the tank. Now in a year I’ve never been accused or charged for smoking, why would I start now. Not to mention the few people that I’ve referred to this location told me Channing has also charged them for smoking & they don’t smoke period and I didn’t believe their complaints. I assumed they must of did something cause the staff there are amazing. I’m not sure if I’ll return as a customer, I don’t take rudeness lightly. As for the rest of the staff they truly are amazing & it’s a shame Channing is ruining it.

Everyone there is extremely helpful and they go out of their way to do the best they can for you. Management is very friendly and knows your time is important so he doesnt waste your time. There is no other place Id rent from, period.
I rent at this location regularly. Very friendly and professional stuff. Even if there are any issues with car availability or the payment prrocess, they are willing to help. Also they can give you a ride. But the only time I asked them to pick me up, they didnt I was late, but I guess it was a main office mistake.
Its pretty cheap and theyre flexible with gas, but thats probably because theyre not prepared. They often make mistakes in billing, give damaged/dirty cars needing maintenance, and theyre frantic when pulling together reservations. I once was billed twice as much as my rental agreement stated (still not refunded), got a car covered in dog hair before a week-long rental, and was given a rickety compact car when I had reserved a higher-end car. Not impressed and contantly put on hold. I will not rent from here every again.
The rental car associate was so friendly and helpful. The rental process was fast and easy. The only comment I have for improvement is that I wish they had explained how the tolls in MA work with rental cars since the tolls on I-90 have changed to licence plate tolls. At the moment Im not sure how Ill be billed...
My car ended up being in the shop longer than planned and I needed to get to work. I called ahead to tell them my situation and they had the car ready to go when I showed up. I of course drove 2 miles down the street when the mechanic called me to say my car was ready, so I returned the rental. Customer service was great and I did not get charged for the little time I had the rental car 👌
I called requesting a ride to the office in Medford MA to my surprise in less than 20 minutes a driver show up. In less than 40 minutes I was in my rental Ford Escape, great vehicle, great rates, kept it for 28 days, outstanding customer service. Second to none. I definitely recommend.

Truthfully, renting from enterprise this time was horrible. I never had an issue with them before. The rental my boyfriend and I got this time REEKED. It smelled like someone fished bowled the car with cigarettes and weed. And the worst part was that it made you smell like it too after sitting in the car for a bit. No matter what we did, spraying perfume, car spray, or febreze, NOTHING worked. Second to all that, I guess there was an issue with one of the tires. Since the first day my boyfriend picked up the car, there was something wrong with the tire pressure. We’d go and put air in the tire and a few minutes later, it’s low again. To make it worse, as I’m driving to NH, middle of nowhere I get a warning pressure is low and it rapidly decreasing. Had to pull off at the next exit and find the closest gas station. Called enterprise roadside assistance and they send AAA. Come to find out there was a huge nail in the tire the whole time. I was also told by enterprise roadside assistance to go switch out my rental and she spoke to the branch manger at enterprise in Newburyport. Was told they have a car for me to switch out. I drive all the way there and was turned away. The branch manager goes and tells me she never spoke to anyone nor did she say she had a car for me.The only reason why I am giving enterprise a 3 star is because of Enterprise Medford. They are very responsive and have wonderful customer service. Everyone there is friendly and helpful.

I had a positive experience renting from Enterprise in Medford a few weeks back. All went well with the car. At drop-off, they were happy to give my daughter and I a ride back to the nearby place we were staying (telling us to cancel the Uber we had called).I would say Id be back -- and I generally would be -- except, sadly for the fact that since my rental, Enterprise decided to join an industry group called ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council), which has long been involved in climate denial and efforts to obstruct progress toward clean energy (like trying to roll back state renewable energy standards). So I wont be renting from any Enterprise now -- which is too bad, because I otherwise liked them! (which is why I split my stars and went with a 3; Actual rental site good. Company policy now not. :-(

As a former branch manager from a very busy Columbus, OH location, I was unimpressed with Medford’s branch of ERAC. Through no fault of my own I had to get my car repaired at a local body shop. I got a call from Olivia the day before to confirm I’d be at the body shop at 8 am. We were off to a good start. I confirmed that I would be there and was told to have them call when I arrived. I asked if the ERAC rep could just meet me there at 8 because I needed to get to work and I didn’t want to be delayed 25 minutes to wait for them to get to me. She said that would be fine, “not a problem, we can do that” were her exact words. Wrong. I got there, no rep. We had to call and it was at that point he was on his way. He got there about 8:25 which is what I wanted to avoid. Maybe the branches in Columbus are different, they do go the extra mile. We met customers at the body shop at 8 if they asked us to. And if we couldn’t, we’d tell them that. Guess Medford doesn’t do either of those things.Got in the car, it was pretty dirty and smelled like smoke. In Columbus, all cars to go out at 8 am were to be cleaned, prepped and ready to rent the night before. There was a large APPROVED written across the rear windshield in blue and along the passenger side windshield. You couldn’t even take the time to wipe that off? If this car went out of the branch I ran, I would have been mortified. Seems like this isn’t an isolated incident. My neighbor got a car from your location the week before and it was equally as dirty. This is a direct reflection of the Asst Mgr and Branch Mgr at this location. The Mgt Trainee was very nice, seemed nervous, but nice enough. I had to ask him to go over the basics of the car, he didn’t offer. Another disappointment. That is car rental 101. Show the customer lights, controls, gas cap release and ask if they have any questions.Maybe my standards are too high, but doesn’t seem too much to ask to get a clean car filled with gas and nothing written across the windshield.

First I was asked to wait as the car was getting oil replacements across the street at Jiffy lube. What was to take 5 minutes, took 45 minutes.Then they provided me with another car. On returning, I was charged an additional day because of some wierd weekend rate policy which I was not told of and I had never requested for. After much persuation, they waived off the additional charge.I wont come here, I would rather go to their competitor right across the street next time.

I do not recommend this company. I am very disappointed. Left my EZ PASS in the first car that I rented from them and I forgot it in the vehicle when I returned it. My EZ PASS was stolen and it was used on the same day that I returned the car. The company completely removed themselves from the issue and took no responsibility at all for this issue. They didnt even try to find my EZ PASS nor did they reimburse me for the money that was taken from my EZ PASS.I dont recommend this company for anybody.

My only concern was the insurance purchase. I purchased insurance through the third party website that I used to reserve the car, however Enterprise informed me that it is preferred to purchase insurance through Enterprise, as it guarantees coverage, and less cost up front, but the coverage was significantly more expensive than the one offered via the rental website.
