Avoid this place at all costs. I have a problem believing the reviews I’ve read are real they’re very unprofessionalCharged me 3600 for a transmission that didn’t last 500 miles. I’ve been getting the run around from these people trying to get out of paying for a new trans they’ve had my car the better parf of 3mo. They will not give a loaner I’m a disabled single father with no other transportation. I feel this place is the hands down worst shop I’ve ever been to I wouldn’t let this company touch a car of mine again. A guy named Jeff flat out said he wouldn’t let me have a loaner. Yeah avoid this place at all costs

The folks at Johns are my go-tos for all of the work on my 2006 Mini. They have been doing all of the regular service on her since she was out of warranty. Dean is wonderful about letting me know what preventative maintenance may be coming up as well as never upselling unnecessary stuff. My Mini has 176,000 miles on her and she runs like a top. Johns Auto Care has been taking good care of my family for nearly a decade. We have several cars. I love the convenience of their after-hours drop off. If I want to see the old parts, its no problem. Whats more, I do a lot of wrenching myself and Johns has bailed me out of my own blunders more times than I can count. No judgement, just great help. And, lets face it, brand new auto parts are sometimes faulty. Accept it! No part or repair is always perfect the first time all the time. And we all make mistakes from time to time. Thoroughly went over my vehicle and did a great job

Couldnt tell you enough to not take your vehicle there. I went in for a motor swap. There were issues out of the gate. Opened the hood to check their work and wires/harnesses were not clipped back. Oil residue in the engine bay. Asked why it wasnt wiped off, they said they dont do that. With cracked spark plug, timing cover leaking, rear main seal leaking, still charged me to fix rear main seal only for the motor to blow up again 380 miles right past mileage warranty. They said their hands are tied and couldnt do anything unless I spend another 3300, even tho I spent over 4k in the first place. Oh come to find out they received the new(used) motor a month prior to putting it in and my clutch doesnt operate correctly. Do yourself a favor and check Ken Scales. -1 star if I could with this company. Big mistake listening to the recommendation-DC

First went there to have radiator fixed. They beat the dealership price by half and I got the radiator and fan replaced for less. I go there for oil changes and they are always great. Would recommend. Good work. Great price and you dont feel like you are being gouged.

I am a long-time loyal customer of Johns Auto, but I will not be going here again after my last visit.Not a single person wearing a mask in the entire business. Not just the mechanics, but also those working in the office. When I asked if at least the customer-facing employee would mind putting on a mask while I filled out paperwork and paid, the answer was a simple I dont have one. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.I have had a family member pass away from this virus. I regularly interact and care for my elderly grandparents. It is a shame to see that Johns cannot do the basic minimum to be mindful of their customers health and safety.

Johns Auto is top notch and very trustworthy. I’ve taken both of my cars there, and they’ve always been super friendly, helpful and honest. Jeff specifically helped me a lot, and he was very helpful and transparent with the entire process in dealing with the car warranty company. I’ll always be taking my car to these guys from now on!

I have truly appreciated the diagnostic capability and quality of service of Johns Autocare. It is always difficult to find someone knowledgeable and willing to work on classic older cars, and they have been great stewards of my 1984 Mercedes. Two years ago they were able to diagnose and affordably fix a serious issue which threatened driver safety, which I had paid several other shops to fix without success. They are now my go to mechanic.

I dont have proof but I think they killed my car and blamed it on me. Horrible customer service. They got grease all over the place and the new pink steering wheel cover. And when I sold the car they had it in pieces and couldnt even bother to come out and talk to the new owners about it. Absolutely rude and I am so devastated that my perfectly good car was murdered. 😥

I had to be towed here after ripping my front bumper off at a gas station while travelling from Eugene to California. They fit me right in, took care of my bumper, checked my tires and rotors, removed some gravel that was making the wheels squeal, and had me well on my way. These guys are awesome. I went in with a problem I was told by other mechanics would cost me about $2,500 to fix. They had my car for one hour. Found there was corrosion in the fuse box area and around the ABS module connectors. They cleaned it up, and that $2500 job turned into $104.00. Do I really have to say I will always go back there? Okay, I will always go back there!!!

Have been here a number of times with no issues. However, the last visit was for a very common detached outside door handle problem for a BMW X5. I was told it was 2.3 hours of labor. I questioned them on their time estimate and was told it takes that long to fix. My friend who is not a mechanic watched a YouTube video and completed the same X5 door handle problem in 1 1/2 hours. A mechanic who has probably done dozens of these common fixes could easily do it in 1 hour or less. They also overcharged for the actuator part at $160 which was listed by sellers on Amazon for around $100 as a new BMW part. I have no problem paying $99 for labor as long as its the actual time it took, and I dont mind paying for a markup on the part but not near double what they pay for it.

We took our sons 2007 Mazda pickup in for maintenance. Never have I ever heard of a shop telling you, if the same problem still exists after the 3rd time of them having it in their shop, and paying them more than $1000, NOT to bring it back there. After taking it to the Mazda dealership, they suggest we take Johns Auto to small claims. In my opinion, not a good way to do business.

Im a little iffy went to get oil replaced 69$ on a 1992 bmw 325is they came back saying theres three oil leaks but I had asked the previous owner about it she said there has never been an oil leak She took very good care of the car so we bought it from her and been driving around in it for months with the old oil it never ran out or leaked so much to the point where there would be no oil before I went to Johns auto care so we went here got it replaced drove it around for a week to find out there is LITTLE TO NO oil in the car....... because some magical oil leak popped out of nowhere during a service/oil check they seem friendly and seem legit but just way to strange for that to happen and go unnoticed Id like a honest answer if yall did something I wont be mad be realAlso if I can drive a car around thats 20 years old with old oil in it for months without it running out then all the sudden I take to a oil change and it leaks super fast within a week something is wrong with the people doing shady things to get more money out your pocket be logical here but Im hoping its just the drain plug and give yall the benefit of the doubt

You can tell as soon as you speak to Luis or one of his BMW techs, you can tell straight away that these guys are car guys. That they love working on and talking about cars; BMWs in particular. If you have one and youre looking for a shop that will not BS you, that has the knowledge to take the BEST care of your BMW, and that will not scar your wallet for life, Johns Auto Care is for you. I will not let even the BMW dealer touch my 335i as Johns is the only place I go simply because I trust them to get the job done right the first time, to not try to upsell be things my car doesnt need, and to charge me a fair price. Went to take my Range Rover for a full engine replacement cost thousands to replace then after it was replaced took it back multiple times and each time they charged alot to fix little.things then the very last time i took it in they said they needed to replace another part and that part cost $3000. I understand that the cars parts cost alot but when having spent already close to $9,000 in repairs and expecting a good running car its quite a disappointment def parts that should have been caught while replacing the engine only makes me think they didnt install the engine right or damaged other parts in the process and check to see if everything was working correctly after engine replacement. Not very thorough and not honest at all.

They are nice and dont try and take every penny you have. This is second time been and recommend them to everyone they are GREAT

I discovered Johns a couple months ago and had my BMW Z4 serviced and brakes flushed. A couple days ago I discovered the Car Phone had disappeared as an option in the On-board display. I took it in today without an appointment and they took it in for diagnosed and repair in less than 5 minutes. 10 minutes later a mechanic returned stating the problem had been repaired. I asked for the bill and was told there would be NO CHARGE since it was an EASY FIX! Thats want I call SERVICE!

Took my vw in for an oil leak, charged me $400 to replace a seal and the vacuum pump for the brakes. They had my car in the shop for two days. Didnt fix the oil leak, though! Three days later, back in the shop because its still leaking the same amount, now Im having to pay them more money to fix the oil filter. Ive heard great things about this shop, but I wouldnt recommend going to them.

Luis and Matt are outstanding. Medford BMW wanted to charge me $3,000+ for a unit that didnt need to be replaced on my BMW M3. It just needs a sensor! Luis and Matt are taking care of it at a fraction of a cost, also getting my guibo, replaced. And having them do the valve adjustment, oil change and install my headers! I have to say these guys are my mechanic. Nobody else will treat like these guys!

Horrible service. I took my vehicle in for a hesitation problem as well as a check engine light. I was charged the $25.00 fee for the diagnostic and was told that Theres nothing wrong with it. Craig, the counter guy told me Its due for a MAF update. Craig never offered their services to Fix it. He advised me to buy a new MAF sensor and that that should fix the problem. It did not. So 3 days later I took my vehicle in to Bob Thomas and they found a list of problems. A misfire in cylinders 1 & 6. A bad plug boot, an exhaust leak and the wrong catalytic converter for the application. Please explain to me how the people at Johns Auto did not see these issues with their own eyes and the Computer that gives live feed??? When I called them to ask for a refund for buying a part I did not need, and the $25.00 fee, Luis told me that had I bought the MAF sensor anywhere but Napa, he would of worked with me. But since I didnt, he wouldnt. He also said I should have let them Fix it. Fix what Luis? Your shop said there is Nothing wrong with it. Remember? Do not take your values vehicles and give them your hard earned money. Seems like their technicians are only there for a paycheck. And the owners assume that customers have no integrity. You can keep your $25.00 Johns Auto. I wont be going back.
