He was prompt and polite. He tested everything first to be sure of which part that was failing was the one replaced. He had a great sense of humor snd was enjoyable and non intrusive to be around. I would highly recommend his services to family and friends.

My 15 year old frig stopped working on Friday and I discovered it Saturday morning. I called Sears for repair but they couldnt help me until next week. I called AJ Appliance looking for a good used replacement to just get me by until Sears could come out. The technician listened to my problem and suggested before I buy anything that he could come out and possibly repair mine same day. He brought some parts and in 15 mins it was all done. It seems the fan wasnt working. He replaced the fan with a good used part and still offered a 90 day warranty. THANK YOU AJ APPLIANCES. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend your service to anyone looking for appliance repairs. And even though I did not buy a used appliance from them, with the great service I received on this repair I have to believe the sales side of their business is just as good.

Outstanding! We bought a washer it had a problem once it was installed and Ricky came right over and picked it up, took it too his shop, repaired it brought it back to our house and reinstalled it. It is a very old washer with an agitator in it. I love the old model because its a top loader and you can open the lid. I love it. Ricky is a credible business man. If there is a problem he will fix it. Great great customer service!

I had been looking all over town for a part for my washing machine. I finally found them on the internet and called. They had my part... I went down there and they got me my part at a very reasonable price and answered all of my questions about what good be next. I definitely will be returning when the need arises!

Been using AJs for the past year to purchase appliances and parts. They have been my go to place for great deals and hard to find parts. Always found the staff to be professional and polite. They go out of their way for service! I believe the bad reviews are personal and not related to the service they provide.

This is one of the most pleasant experiences that I have ever had with an appliance store!! They came and fixed my washer machine and they were right on time and the charge was minimal! They have a large selection of appliances and I know where to go to get my next one!!

Very helpful and friendly. I thought I had to buy a new dryer. Then I went to ajs and within a couple hours I did not need to buy a new dryer. Thank you so much you really helped us out. Oh and there was a kitty too!

The people at A. J S appliance are very pleasant. They are very helpfull, as far as parts are concerned and used appliances I doubt that you could beat there prices. They do not buy appliances from people. They have suppliars. Check them out. Great place.

As the Sales Manager for AJ Appliances, I felt I should write a response to the reviews on here. I am not the owners brother and was not manager when the incident with the stove occurred.As far as the Refrigerator goes, we have completely changed our staff and I apologize for your negative experience that you had. As far as the incident a few years ago, I cannot address it. We are under new ownership and have completely changed the staff. Please give us another try! You wont be disappointed again!We havent done pickups for anyone in quite some time. I apologize if any of our former employees said we would pick up appliances for you. As the Manager, I would have told you that we do not do pickups. In the future, call AES out in White City.As far as the stove goes, there was a delay in getting it done as your conversion kit was a factory order which took four weeks to come in to our parts supplier. We got the work done within a day of the kit coming in and I personally called them to let them know it was done. I am sorry that it took them a week to come and pick it up. The delay was solely caused by the part not being available. I know, I called them and let them know the part was going to be sometime in arriving.I have spoken with the owner, regarding the refrigerator issue and we cannot find in our records anyone whose home we have been to four times. If this condition does in fact exist, please contact the store at any of the available numbers and we will get this issue resolved immediately.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They have sent a guy to my house 4 times to deliver and install a new fridge. They still havent connected water line, or brought the correct crisper drawers. Seriously its not that hard. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your appliance needs. Try west coast!

We Love Our Refrigerator! Awesome Service! We got one refrigerator from them and it quit wroking during the warranty, they brought us a loaner the next day, while we waited for a nicer one to replace the dead one... it happens, but what is awesome is their personal service! They treat you right and try their best to make each experience a happy one - they have always gone above and beyond! I just bought a second refrigerator and put it in my mobile office (24ft trailer) and both units are running amazing - as expected! If your looking to help a small awesome business - Shop Local and Shop at AJs youll love the service and be amazed at their low prices! They now have an even bigger selection at their new store on fir street - yeah their like family now, I wouldnt buy an appliance anywhere else!!

If there was a Ten Star choice these guys would get it. My fridge broke down on a hundred and four degree day. I was in a tight spot with not a lot of money. The Price for the unit I needed was perfect. Not only that, they delivered within the hour. Thanks AJ Appliance!!!!!

Great deals, they will work with you on prices and always willing to try almost any special task. They also do a vent line cleaning for free when they install a dryer. ($ 75- $100) value.....they are verry busy though, high machine turnover rate..so be patient.

First off I totally should have asked them to repair first, didnt know they did that too! So I was a lil sketchy, all the dryers were pretty much the same price and kinda costly but I went with one. When it got here I didnt notice the damage maybe it was new who knows but irrelevant I wanted to know what that heat do! And not a lot apparently. So I asked to exchange, yes they wanted to service first I said no because I had other issues with it too. I went right down and looked around and didnt see what I wanted and guess what!!! They split up a matched set and gave me the dryer... A very good dryer. And if it turns out something breaks in the next 90 days, well apparently they will fix it.

Had these guys come out to repair my LG fridge (which come to find out is one of the worst brands that out there, not to include tough to diagnose) and they knocked it out and put in about an hour. Found the problem in about 10 min, ran back to they’re warehouse to grab the part, and were back in about 10-15. Plugged it in and it emidiatly started blowing cold in the fridge and freezing the freezer.I spoke to their repair shops (not going to name names) and they all told me “absolutely not will I work on an LG”.Personal, corjul, and super nice guys.I’d call them again if I ever have any other problems. Do NOT do business with these people. Rediculous. They dont even deserve 1 star, if there were an option for 0 stars, thats what I would give them. They do not arrive when they say they will and when I text daily, they say they will be here and then no show again. Day after day. Such a waste of my time. Save your time and call someone else to pick up your appliances.

Richard was great and helped us find a unit that worked for us. He knew his stuff about washers and dryers. I would definately go here before buying some questionable unit off Craigslist.

Great Prices but they are lousy getting things done by the time they say it will be done. Took over a month to convert the stove i brought from natural gas to propane. And every time i would call the manager would be rude to me or not answer or return my phone calls. Finally after a month of talking to their lousy manager i finally got to talk to Allen the person who owned the store and he finally got the ball rolling. Finally after almost 2 months i got a great stove for a great discounted price ( Bc of all the trouble i had with their manager who is the owner of the stores brother.) after that experience i will never be returning to their store.Signed, One Pissed Off Wife

If you want a washer that barely works after three months (the end of their warranty). I would have had better luck getting a washer off of craigslist. Truly disappointed. We had purchased a washer/dryer set at AJs for $500. After less than a year of this washer, I finally had to finance to get another washer at a different store. I recently asked if they would buy back the washer (for super cheap...like $50 bucks even) and was told they dont buy their appliances. Never using AJs again.

Repairman lies to his boss about his clients. Sold us a broken washer, swapped with a different one that was inferior. Somehow our 300 dollar credit disappeared .Very unprofessional!

YeHa! A month ago, I lost a stove in a rental, I drive by Ajs on my way to the gym so I stopped in. They had a great selection for very reasonable prices so I picked one up and put it in, very happy.Three weeks later my washer dies on me, well I no where to go and they did not disappoint. I have a truck but they offered to deliver and set up at no extra price. So glad I did, had to pull the dryer out and take the door off. They not only jumped in and did the work but found a problem with my dryer an fixed it on the spot (no charge.)I have 4 rentals and Ill be using AJs for al my appliance needs. The owner was one of the guys installing my washer, very easy going likeable guy.

We got a refrigerator from these guys and have had problems since day one. Within a couple of days, we were already having cooling problems. The owner was supposed to come fix it, but after he missed two appointments, all he did was put a thermometer in the freezer. Finally had someone come yesterday that replaced a defrost timer. Nice guys, but now my freezer is hotter (45 degrees and had to throw away all the food) and my refrigerator is warming up. A few years back my roommate actually called them to fix our washing machine. Two weeks later, almost to the day, we called them back and the guy told us that whoever fixed it didnt do the job right. We informed him it was their business who had come out and he denied they would do work like that and still charged us. Do not buy from this business.

Misdiagnosed my washing machine, then charged me $300. It barely worked, made an obnoxiously loud noise and shook really hard. Now its broken again. $300 for nothing!

Buyers Beware. Received a fridge and stopped working one week later. They refuse to give you your money back and very unprofessional!!
