Great place to deliver and friendly staff can take break after delivery easy backing into docks
Enter at your own risk! I wanted to have a better experience than the reviews I read but…I arrived at 10:05pm. My appt was for 10:00pm but still. I didn’t get a door until 3:26am and didn’t get my bills until 5:20am(I have the call log attached). I overheard another driver saying he had been there for 7 1/2hrs waiting on a door. The staff was cool but I’ll be trying my best to never go back.
Christmas is faster. Waited 6 hours for the paperwork, AFTER my 3hr unload.
This place need better management! Rude! Slow! Not helpful
This is a truckers view! This place was so unorganized as you first come up to the gate its three lanes coming in theres no signs telling you which lane so use the far right lane going in parking near the truck stop about 8 miles from the warehouse there is no overnight parking on the lot there is sufficient parking when you arrive its just unorganized. The lighting at the dock doors is none so that can be difficult when backing into a dock. Unloading may take some time receiving paperwork takes a lot of time theyll call you when youre unloaded they have online lumber payment.
Got here at 9 pm. Appoitment at 1 am. Got a door at 5.40. 6 pallets break down to 14. Its now 9.50 am. Still at the door. Do ur math.
I didnt have to wait long and was able to take my 10hr break there as well. Very nice employees and very helpful.
Im a truck driver and I have been here for over 12 hours! This place takes forever to unload and I’ve seen a green light for an hour now and no one has called me! I will never come here again!
My delivery appointment was 2:30 am and unload it in one hour, good job.
I wish I could leave the stars blank. I pray that when you arrive that you have everything you need because you will be here more than 10 hours. Theyll send you a lumper bill once half unloaded then finish about 2 hours later. They will have a shift change on your time. I arrived last night 22:00 6/2. Its 10:02 6/3 and no, you guessed it, still not done. You definitely know management doesnt read this. Be weary of coming to this place. Trust me Im no complainer. But it is evident this place is no good. look at all those bad reviews
The staff is really nice and they allow over night parking... come in after 2200... then sit in a door for 10 hours....
They allow you to stay overnight after unloaded!!!8 hrs to get unloaded
Good place to deliver they have overnight parking available but you cannot check in until after 8:00 p.m. the only thing that I do not like about this place is how slow the lumpers are it does not take 6 hours to pull off 4 pallets
10 hours to unload 2 pallets? What a joke! Drivers bring your breakfast, lunch and dinner but at least you will have a clean bathroom to use so thats worth 1 star.
Been here 6 hrs. Still waiting on bills. Ppl here don’t care about our time at all. Employees smoking cigs every hour while unloads take foreverrr.
Quick unload, no issues. Broker prepaid my lumber so no idea on cost of that.
Ok, this place is special! Plan on staying the night. The staff are friendly if your friendly. But they are also very slow & will let drivers stand staring through their window waiting on paperwork while they look at the phone, talk about nails, tell jokes, anything but hand you your paperwork and let you go.To my understanding you can stay on site overnight, FYI they take your drivers license and hold it for a security badge
These people are incredible stupid. It takes 6 hours to unload. Are you kidding me ??? What are doing counting on there hands and toes. I wont come back here it I came help it.
A lot of communication error but some on my company’s part and some on the guard shack sending me back to find parking until my appointment. One thing I have to say though is everybody was very kind and a warehouse manager, Steve, seems to keep the employees happy and I think that’s why everybody is kind. They got me in a door and unloaded quickly. Hiccups happen but I appreciate being treated respectfully and this works both ways.
Arrived at 2:30am, Appointment was 3. Got a call for a dock at 6 didnt get a red light until 8 and just left at 10:49. DONT COME HERE
Easy in easy out.. lumper fees are not to bad.
These people need to hustle more. Making truckers wait to get unloaded more than 1 hour is a disgrace, but these people make some wait over 10hours. This waiting screws up your allowed driving time with the elds. Makes you late for next drops. Dominoes effect.
Got therefor a 10pm appt at 845pm got a door at 1130 pm out at 530am for a 56 pallets of watermelon a straight pull off but got charged for a 62 pallets breakdown how do u break down watermelons when there in bins the capstone people are crooked n girl in capstone is rude wont speak to you just points at sign for you to read n they want to get paid before unloaf
The worst place ever!!!!! I would advise any driver do not go to this place if you have other stops on your truck. The do not respect your time, my Appointment was 11:00 p.m. checked in at 9: 55 PM. Didnt got out ontil the next morning around 9:00 a.m.
NO ONSITE PARKING WAS TOLD ALL REVIEWS ON PARKING ARE WRONG
Great place and overnight parking. You can also park after you deliver
Appointment was at 2:30 am. Got here at 4:30 am and they got me done by 6am. No complaints. Everyone was nice & respectable.
Slow.. wont take you early.. get there at 12am leave at 7am.. smh..
Its an stone age warehouse, ppl were at the guard cant spells or write.Inside no good sign to inform the drivers what to do or where to go, they had a drawing stop sign on the wall and keep telling everyone to stand by the stop sign...LOLReceivers staffs has an real attitude and they thinking everyone new to the job and has no education except the receiving staffs. And the best part of all this, the lumper lady telling the drivers to pay the unloading ASAP soon they receive the text but, the paperwork going to be coming from overseas so wait for them.GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE COMING IN HERE, BRING DINNER BREAKFAST AND MAYBE LUNCH.Just to clarify one thing, I dont have full load, I have 7 Platts. My appointment 0200 its now 0600, they done unloading and took their money 2 hours ago and still no paperwork.
So the office lady on the perishable site was a very bad first impression service sucked place is a joke overall not a great time
Stay away from this place it took them 10 hrs to unload 8 pallets
Only way to be on time without violating HOS was to be 6hrs early. They unloaded me 4hrs before my appointment and let me park for the night on sight. $119 lumper fee but Im a company driver so I get reimbursed. Pretty good experience
They are all in competition to see who can move the slowest. I2 am appointment and did not leave until 8 am. If you’re thinking about booking a load to deliver here make sure it pays good $$. And yes they hold your driver license at the guard shack.
This place deserve -0 star ..!!!Prepare for 10 hrs
They are very slow. The girl in the office was very rude. Sent to a door that had a trailer in it. Took over 30 minutes to decide on 2 doors down.
Slow at unloading has gotten alot better than when I first started coming here
Very rude the boy at check in...Slow slow slow unloading..I dont recommend coming here..Cluster..Once inside the shipping office or receiving..Same place ..You will understand
Appointment time 1:30am, current time 9:33am and they still unloding me at this moment . WTH its going on in there ???
This DC is just okay. Key is to be on time for your appointment and if you want to get out of there within 2-3 hours then be the first one in the DC as they open at 10pm but if you go check in by 3-4pm and wait till 10pm then you will be the first one at 10pm to get the dock. Still a hassle.
Stay away from this location guys 2 pallets 120 dollars lumper 4 hours already still not empty yet will never deliver at this location again
Had a delivery there and they was pretty good and very helpful!!
It took over 6 hours 😪to unload just 1 pallet. I came 5 hours before my appointed time, I was sent away to find parking at the nearest pilot till then.the paperwork took hours .
I was nervous taking this load after bad reviews so I only took it after good rate was locked down - but to my surprise I got in 1.5 hrs early at 12:30 am apt at 2am got a door fast and no lumper was charged and everyone was nice and polite - I was in and out within 1hr 15 min.And great thing not far away about 23 mi a flying J with a Golden Coral is in area.
Every person I spoke with was rude or gave me the feeling that the last thing they wanted to do was be of service. Very unhappy people it seems. If it were my choice I would pass on this place. No overnight parking. Bathroom is available.
They do have over night parking for drivers thats out of hours
Receiving lady was really nice but the lumper lady that you have to deal with is very rude very sarcastic has no business bringing her problems from home to work and taking it out on the other people like I said very rude Ill give you an update on the unloading part and the checkout after I pay my lumper see how rude she is in Ill never come back here again I dont need to work with rude people
This place is run down. The waiting lot is crazy drivers park all over the place. Unloaded fairly quick. They have lumper. The lady at the gate doesn’t know how to give directions.
Yesterday, due to a long download that lasted 5 hours, I was 2.5 hours late at Deliveri, the app arrived at 2:00 am at 4:30 am, which is why I was postponed until tomorrow, 23 hours have passed since I arrived at this warehouse, got the door and still havent started unloading
Super slow but the people are polite
Pros: easy and quick check in, lots of room to maneuver, vending machines, possible overnight parking.Cons: lumper and long time to get paperwork.Checked in at 0245 for a 0400 appointment.Total time spent here as of this writing: about 2 hours.I guess some people just get it worse than others based on other reviews.
This place is a joke. Arrived 9:30pm for 10pm appointment, got a door at 5:16am. Unloaded myself, broke down to 36 pallets, was done at 7:45am. Checker didnt get to it till 12:30pm. Ive seen lumpers inside work alright, its a checkers who dragging their balls around and dont want to work. I came up to one checker to tell him i am done and ready to be recieved, he siad i will get to it when i get to it. I asked if different checker can recieve it bcuz i had 3 more appointments at 6am, 9am and 11. He said you can ask but you only gonna piss them off. Really? If i ask you to do your job i am gonna piss you off? Long story short, missed my next 3 appointments, everything was rescheduled, got stuck with that load for an extra day. Thats the first and last time supervalu have seen my truck, i am not coming back there for any money.
Capstone is lumber service they have parking after u get unloaded just use common sense ! inside restrooms ! !! I’d come back!
Got here at 9 for a 10 the guard acted like he didnt want to let me in but he did check-in process took about 30 minutes like other reviewers have said the people that work here look like they just came out of the ghetto but the guy on the dock was nice and very helpfulSeem to be about like most of these freezer places disorganizedwaste your timewont let you stay overnightnothing new right they suck about like the rest of them
They should say that are a small truck stop or at least how few parking spaces they have
After visiting this place I felt myself in 1970th. Old warehouse, old fashioned system. Dirtiness everywhere. Unloading is a little bit faster comparing to some warehouses.
One of the worst places Ive ever been to. $315 lumper fee, 11 hours to unload when on time. Outdated, filthy warehouse and rude employees. They have overnight parking available. Youll need it. Good luck!
Worst check in process. Place is dirty. I cant stand places with lumping. Long wait time. 4am appointment, arrived at 2am its now 10am and Im still waiting on paperwork, all for 9 pallets.
Oh well they will allow you to come in really early before your appointment no overnight parking
Lady at check in is snobby/rude. Very very slow at unloading had 10pm appt checked in 9:30pm didnt get door till after 12:30am and still sitting here not unloaded. Someone needs to contact the BBB or higher up staff in the company. We have places to be not sit in docks for hours on end.
They are very professional people that work there and check me in to get unloaded in about 45 minutes the lumper service was great too.
Nowhere near as bad as some of the previous reviews make it out to be.Checked in five hours early for a 3 AM appointment time and was immediately given a dock assignment.Everyone from the guard to recieving to the lumper manager was a pleasure to work with.Got unloaded within reason and was allowed to park onsite to finish out my 10-hour break.*update (3/1/21) - parking on site is no longer allowed.
Its my second time very fast even 3 hrs before my appointment the lumper guy is too much altitude
Every time I come here I always sit at least 6 to 8 hours in a door. The staff was rude the last time I went there. They do have parking once youre unloaded. You cant park there before you deliver.
Do not ask any questions to the capstone receptionist you may get punched.
Slowest place I’ve been. Arrived 130 for a 3am unload, as of 9am still waiting for them to unload. $150 lumper fee and zero communication.
Got there 9 30 4 10pm appt out of there 1130 2hrs not bad 26 pallets longest part was checking in there is a lumper fee you can sleep on property
The WORSE PLACE... Arrived @ 9:45pm for a midnight appt. Im still in a door not unloaded & waiting for paperwork @ 08:45am. Theyre slower than smoking a brisket... If u come hers once u WONT COMEBACK...GUARANTEED!!!.MANAGEMENT from coporate need to step in here..
When u checkin with the guard he will tell u to go right, left, left, and right. I found that to be wrong. It right, left left. The door to check in is on the left as soon as u make the 2nd left.
Very nice people and quick unload checked in early finished before my appointment time woow thanks guys
This is a very good distribution center however the crush when brokers stacked trucks 10 or more within the same 30mins time period plus you are forced to pay for lumper service in order to get unloaded dont be late for your appointment
Appointment 02:00, arrived 22:00 before, out 05:30.
Love this place receiving office personnel are great people
In at 8pm, at door at 10pm still here at 8am. Watched many Trucks pull in and out before me. Dont know y. Will never be back here again.
Seems the Emplyee are always Upset about something, irritated???
WORK here nice place to work at
The most convoluted, disorganized, cluster of a check in system/procedure I have ever seen. Its so dysfunctional that its funny! 1. Check in with gate security 2. Check in with office 3. Check in with lumper 3. Go out to truck and wait for phone call 4. Once called check BACK IN with the office 5. Check in once again with lumper 6. Go getcheck ready 7. Bring check back in to lumpers office 8. Get a door 9.once called go back to lumper office for receipt 10. Take receipt to office to get paperwork. COMPLETELY INEPT. ABSOLUTELY NO PANDEMIC PRECAUTIONS TAKEN. NO OFFICE PERSONNEL WORE MASKS. FORCED DRIVERS TO STAND IN LINE BACK TO BACK. NO COVID PROTOCAL WHATSOEVER. Every other grocery warehouse in the country has figured out a way to keep the driver in the truck. Check done by phone with codes, place the bills in the back of the trailer when backing in the dock, whatever. There are a million ways to get it done, but I guess SUPERVALU doesnt see a need to keep their employees or their customers safe. I will be reporting this to the state and I hope actions are taken. Get it together SuperValu.
Last time here ...rude nasty people!
I really wish I could give them 5 stars but I cant bc of the length of time waiting after being unloaded, which is normal for this kind of warehouse. But I save 5 stars for better time. But a BIG BUT here. The people who work there are awesome. From the security to check in to their Capstone department. Every soul there treated me with respect and courtesy like Im a human too. Even yard dog smiled where usually they go around trying to prove what a giant jerk they are. Just dont be an ole grumpy trucker when you go in there. Bathrooms decent, not great, but better than most. But this is a grocery warehouse and you will be waiting like you do at any other, get used to that idea and youll be happy.
Slow check in... Slow unloading.... Slow everything... Only good thing it has overnight parking
Arrived at 2230. Had a 12am appontment. Got right in. And was in a door till 5 am. Very long unload time on a Kelloggs load. Very friendly staff.
Avoid at all cost slow to get a door and to get unloaded cluster no where to park take over an to get up guard gate
Drop n hook. Very simple...
Unfortunately the reviews are true. You can enter after 8:00 p.m.. The line at the check in window is extremely slow. The lady at the check in window is nice. I was unloaded quickly, however I didnt receive my paperwork for another 3 hours.
If you are very happy come here they will make you cry
They don’t value your time AT ALL. Every process is extremely slow. From the checkin, how long they take in the lumper line, to the unloading. ALL SLOW. Prepare to be have hours to move your truck after being here 6-7 hours.
This ppl are the perfect example why companies moving out of this country.
I love 💘 it way they treat driver, very busy place we should expect some delays, when I took the load I was not happy because of the rewes, but everything found perfect, unfortunately driver with good experience doesnt write rewes and only people write rewes with the bad experience, i found from the security to the office and to the lumper guys very respectful, office lady 👩 was kind and she asked me am I was happy with there job five 🌟
Extremely too long to get unloaded!! (Over 6 hours for me) But good thing is that they do allow overnight parking afterwards, not beforehand. You cannot enter the property until after 8pm. There is a TA truckstop in Ashland thats under 10 miles away.
Sloooooow..... waiting for paperwork more than 2hr after got unloaded.
I believe if they fired every employee that works here and started over fresh they could turn this thing around. As it is you better be planning on spending some time here. Took 32 minutes just to get checked in at window and I was the only one standing there. This place is a joke.
Bad place for delivery 6 hours waiting time
OMG.If you can stay away do not show around. The only thing wrong here is the management, the recruiting team and the warehouse supervisor.Lumpers??????They are doing what they are allowed to do.I mean nothing. My appoitment 2.30 am, got door 5 am Start 6 am, is 9.30 and I am still here .11 skids.
Im almost sure I learned that they only do what’s convenient to them at the time. Appointment at 2200. I check in the guard shack at 2106. My instructions was RLLR on the card. If I won’t a slow leak I would have asked what are you talking about? But those are the directions to the next check in. Fast forward 3 hours later. I finally get a call to go to a door. Here’s the thing, they found out it was a Kraft timed load and was due at 2400. The lumper guys started scrambling for workers and totally skipped half the drivers waiting. But Heyy, I ain’t complaining. But don’t put down that you finished unloading me at 11:50 when the truck ain’t stop rocking till 12:30. Then tell me it was subject to count. Document your work everywhere you go, especially here. CYOB because they will fudge you up in a heartbeat.
For the truckers. There is some overnight parking before and after. You may check in with guard early for your delivery, but only after 2030 (8:30 p.m). You need to check in at the office window after 2100 (9:00 p.m). Lots of space to roll on. Watch out for the potholes. Guard and lady at the office were friendly. Make sure to return access card to security once you leave premises. Update: 06-04-21: Arrived a bit late, but, no questions were asked by staff. I actually docked right away. Take card from guard and finish filling your information. Probably one of the fastest unloads I have dealt with ( I wasnt even half done with my 30 minute break and I was unloaded ). Check-in was easy. Guard was very friendly. Lumper $200 for ten pallets. Digital payment is a must. DC terrain is predominantly still in bad shape. Safety Vest is recommended, but not necessary. They text you for lumper fee and when your paperwork is ready. Paperwork receiving might take a while to acquire. Overnight available on premises, but depending on staff. No parking around on the streets near facility. Early arrivals are encouraged, not guaranteed youll get in too Early. A few truck stops with-in a 30 mile radius. No pictures... too dark outside.
Guards are nice and quick. Office Clerks are a whole other story. At least 30-45 min to check in or out at the window. Unloading is touch and go. Your looking at 2-8 hours. It varies. No overnight parking. 2 more than 2 hours early. Overnight receiver. They are done by 8:30am
I give it a 5 because i was able to finish my break there & use the restroom 👍
