I went here a few months after a bad hair cut at another salon. Harley was so kind and welcoming! She explained everything she was going to do before she did it to ensure the outcome would be one I liked. I greatly appreciated that! She definitely knows what she’s doing and takes pride in her work!

Every time I go in, I have Leighlin cut my hair. Shes very professional and her cuts/shaves are always top notch. The staff is also very friendly and treats you like family, which is a major plus.

Great hair cut and I have a difficult hair line including a cow lick and double crown all of which they handled perfectly. Felt very safe with covid protocols but they worked around the masks during the cut very well. Honestly felt like a normal haircut just with a mask on. Highly recommend these gals

Update: I found out that Amanda was fired because her cuts didnt fit their image. I take back what I said about them wanted to diversify their clientele.Went here for a haircut the name sounded promising but when I walked in I saw a lot of people that didnt look like me. There was one African American barber by the name of Amanda and she was welcoming and I felt like my hair cut was in good hands. I wasnt sure what I wanted so I let her do her thing and she knocked it out of the park! Its good to know that this establishment is headed to diversifying their services so everyone can come and feel welcomed. Thanks Amanda Ill definitely be back!

Every time I’ve come here to get a haircut I put my name and number down and I’ve never been called or texted to come in for the haircut. These people are highly unprofessional and I highly don’t recommend going here and giving them business. Just terrible customer service.

My son has epilepsy and certain situations, loud noises, lights can bring on a seizure. These ladies are always super sweet and allow us to get his hair cut in the back room where its much quiter and private. We wont go anywhere else.

My first experience was great with my children. My second experience was not. Im a man of very little hair. After setting down with what I know was a new person I had a poor experience and not because of the haircut. I was getting my hair cut and noticed my side Burns were shaggy during the cut, so I ask for them to be trimmed down. (Not knowing what I was about to cost myself) I was asked if a wanted my beard trimmed I stated it was not necessary and that I always trim it myself after a haircut. She did do some trimming with a straight razor and my haircut. I was told a wash was included, but I stated there was no need and I would like to be on my way because the whole process took quite some time. As I got to the register someone else rang me up while asking the barber did you do this, this, this and after a bunch of yes from the barber I was rung into the most expensive haircut Ive ever had. No man of my hairline should ever pay what I paid. Im usually a 30-40% tipper and I just couldnt bring myself to it in this situation. It was the best haircut I have had in a long time but not worth the cost. Unfortunately I cant go back thinking Im spending 27 and coming out with 60.

Fades and Bladez is an awesome shop and Brook is the best barber in central Virginia. My son and I drive 35 minutes from chesterfield to sit in her chair to get a haircut. Brook has been cutting our hair for over six years and we’ve never been disappointed. She’s courteous, friendly, accommodating and talented at her craft. She’s great to talk to and she’s one of the most genuine people I know. Brook and the Fadez and Bladez team get it done!

F & B is awesome!! I have rapidly diminishing hair and KIM always makes me look amazing. (at least as amazing as she can, given what she has to work with.) Everyone is always pleasant and the shop is always clean and nice. Kims attention to detail is very appreciated and I am always satisfied when I leave. I highly recommend Fadez & Bladez!!!

Three generations of my family go to Fadez and Bladez Barbershop. The owners are first class (great family) and run a great barbershop with combing old school barbershop feel with a very modern vibe. Britt cuts my son’s and my hair and she is just simply awesome. My ten year absolutely loves cutting his hair cut by Britt. She does a fantastic job on my beard. I would highly recommend the shop to anyone wanting a great cut.

I decided to walk in with out an appointment after hearing all of the rave reviews, all of which were met and exceeded. My hair cut turned out amazing and the touch of a hair wash and steamed towel set this place apart. They also offer a military discount on cuts!

One of, if not the, best haircuts Ive had in the 38 years that Ive been getting haircuts. Brittany was fantastic and super attentive to detail, checking often to make sure everything was even on both sides. Top all of that awesomeness off with the fact that she used a slick looking straight razor (which is a lost art everywhere except here) to clean up the little fine hairs on the back of my neck. Even though it was my first visit here, I absolutely love this place and will be back often! Also, they are SUPER kid friendly.

I had been trying to find someone who could cut my boys’ hair for a couple of years. There was a specific look I wanted for each of them and it seemed that no one could get it just right. I was surprised at how cheap it was on checkout as well. Maggie cut my hair but Id roll the dice with any of them. But the void was filled with Fadez and Bladez and the amazing staff that they have working here.I have had a number of haircuts and all of the ladies have been great.... BUT Brittany has excelled the past 2 times I have gotten a cut from her.Its not just the raw talent and great cut... it is the sense of humor and personality that makes her a cut above. One of the better barber shops in the area. More expensive than the chain places, but you tend to get a better haircut and they offer more services. They do take reservations, but Ive always just walked in, and never had more than a 10-15 minute wait. Highly recommended.

Sarah, who no longer work there, was great with my son. Since she left, the haircuts hes had by several other stylists have been fine. My only issue has been that my son (who is five and know thats a tough age to sit still and get a hair cut) is treated like an annoyance. Tonight 2/13/2020 Harley cut my hair at the Mechanicsville location. She was absolutely the best!! From her professionalism to her hair cutting ability i was beyond impressed!! I drove 30 min from Enon all the way to Mechanicsville just for fadez and Blades. Thank you Harley for a great hair cut, shave & straight razor line up. I will be seeing you again!-Richard-I do feel the prices are high here. I received a shave and a bald up high in tight fade and it came to $59.I am a good tipper, so i left paying $80 for a hair cut!!! I cant come back nearly as often as i would like too when I have to pay all most $100 for a cut and shave this price is ridiculous. Typically i pay $40 with tip at other barber shops and I probably will have to keep going to bc of your high price.
