I went to get my haircut by the AMAZING Regina (the only person allowed to touch my hair with a pair of scissors) for a last minute birthday buzz and, as always, I was greeted with smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. I got an amazing haircut, per usual, and always leave with a smile and a fresh fade! All of the employees are so nice and professional especially with the ever changing COVID-19 climate. I appreciate the policies they have in place to keep everyone safe and still provide a great service to the community while keeping people employed. 10/10 would recommend. I will be a loyal Cutz Man for the remaining time that I still have hair! 😂

I cannot recommend this place enough. I started coming here when I moved into the area about three years ago. Finding someone who cuts my hair the way I like it is sort of like picking a doctor for me. I have to have someone I am confident in and comfortable with. Once I have found that person, I’m loyal until they give me a reason not to be. I found that with Tia and I will continue to use her services for as long as I can. She has always done a fantastic job and given me great advice. She’s also very personable and easy to talk with. From what I’ve seen, the other employees are just as nice and do a great job. If you’re looking for someone new to trust your hair with you should definitely give them a shot. I’m extremely happy I did.

Ive been coming to C4G for years now and its always a great experience. The staff is welcoming when you walk in the door, the facility is clean along with comfy seats in the waiting area, and a smooth and efficient process to get people in and out. Hilary in particular has been a wonderful and long-time consultant for me in my hair cutting adventures, confirms what were going for in the appointment, is engaging for conversations, treats my kids like royalty with tons of patience, and I could go on. Brittany and Catherine have also done great work when a walk-in was necessary. Both of my boys (9 & 2) have ONLY gotten their hair cuts here - with 100% mom approval. Very thankful for the staff and stylists here!

I have been a Cutz customer for years, starting with their original location and now at Mechanicsville. My son is now a client as well. Hilary is our usual stylist, but we have also worked with others over the years, and everyone, every time, has been professional, friendly, and provided a great cut. But beyond that, one thing that sold me early on was when asked how would you like your hair cut today? and I replied with do you have any suggestions? At most places I had been in the past, that question was blown off. But Hilary actually took the time to talk about some ideas and give me good suggestions, and she continues to every visit. In short, the stylists at Cutz for Guys genuinely care about their customers.

I went in with 2 appointments, each for my 8 year olds. Had 2 separate stylist. One took my son back and never asked what I/he wanted done to his hair. Never spoke, said hello, or introduced herself. She didn’t even know how to cut my sons hair (because it is long and had to ask for help) I mean, how is this even possible??? She ended up asking for help (Tammy I believe is who helped. Whom I am greatly appreciative) and I never saw her again. She didn’t even ring us up. Never said thank you, good bye or have a good day. Lost my service forever.

Everyone is friendly. Regina is the stylist I see when I need a beard trim. Her personality is contagious and she always makes my visits fun. Nice to be able to sit back laugh and cut up with her during these stressful times.

My grandson wanted a baseball mullet.This cut was so bad it took 2 different stylists to attempt to fix the mistakes.The Right side of his bangs has a huge hunk of hair missing. His bangs are still not even, because we would have to cut his bangs to the hair line to make them even. HE did not want his hair that short.He wants it to grow out so we can attempt to get it right..We not use them again...

Do yourself a favor and see Tia she’ll fix you up real nice.

He sincerely cares about his craft as evidenced by his attention to detail. Always ensuring I am well groomed, he also provides engaging conversation. Over the years Daniel has become more than just my barber, he’s become my friend. My relationship with him gives me a small taste of the old-time barber shop experience common to previous generations of men, and I’m grateful.
