Sometimes their self scan machine is down and a lot more then it should be, also the bin to drop mail was locked. They need to empty this better! Had to drive to the next closest one at 3am.

Amanda was amazing! She was so polite and really cared about giving me the best service even though she was working on Sunday. I used to live in Maumee, so I travel often from my home in Swanton just to use the Maumee post office location. I have always had great experiences here and cannot express how happy I am that they were open on Sunday! My package had a deadline date, so I was a bit nervous that waiting until Monday would be cutting it close.Thank you!!!

Terrible customer service if you can even get ahold of the actual post office in maumee. I am following the tracking from their web site but when you call them they have no idea were my package is. How can your web site say somthing but you dont know whats going on. And then have no answers to help. No wounder the post office is going under.

Tip #1 - DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE I A HURRY, this is a busy location and there are often lines.Gone here for years to mail my business and online orders for the company I own. The staff do their best to help me save money, and answer any questions. I have enjoyed using this location for years, and will continue to do so.

This is the best post office in the Toledo area. Workers are friendly and quick. There is rarely a long line, and when there is, it moves quickly. This place breaks the stigma of the dreary government worker. Keep it up.

They are always friendly and professional. Small space, but they have everything you need. Theyve stopped taping things for you, so if you need to tape up a package, be prepared to buy or bring your own. A nice thing about this location is their 24 hour machine which sells postage and even helps you mail packages after hours.

5 stars on hours. They are open late a few days a week which is huge.1 star on the customer interface. As an ebay seller I generally just drop off. I need this to be fast... The package drop box system appears to be locked or broken after hours. There is not a very clear drop location during normal business hours. For those who do not come prepared there seems to always be a line. I think this is almost always avoidable though. There is no reason you should ever need to talk to anyone to mail something or you are doing it wrong. I mail a 1000+ things a year from 2oz-50lbs and do not talk to one person so thank yourself for the line while you are standing in it.

There seems to be confusion in respects to applying for a passport at this location. When speaking over the phone it is indicated that appointments are not necessary, even when inquired upon. This is NOT the case as we found out upon our arrival. Luckily the library in downtown Toledo was open and they were very helpful and customer service oriented.

This is a very busy post office. The clerks work hard at getting people through the line as quickly as possible. There is a very nice parking lot with adequate parking. If people have a problem with this post office it is because they are simply impatient.

This is the absolute worst post office ever. It is the only downside to living in Maumee. I waited in line for 20 minutes the day after Christmas where they only had one worker (Dawn), and she was either on something or needs to be. She quoted me $25.95 for my package to get to Florida and a 21 cent stamp for something that she said felt rigid in an envelope. Then somehow my total came to $37.85 and when I asked why she said that she wasnt paying attention and misquoted me when I saw the $25 postage on the screen. I took my package and envelope and told her I was taking it to UPS, when she then offered me driving directions. She spent more time announcing to the lobby that her co-worker was at the doctors office but that she shouldnt be telling us that, because it is an invasion of privacy. Look, I work in a retail environment, there are times that you get busy and just dont have enough hands on deck to assist, but when you are that busy you do not need to be making jokes to the lobby full of customers about how your co-worker is out getting coffee (thought it was the doctors office), and ask if anyone wants anything. I know I was not the only person there that was annoyed, but I had waited for almost 20 minutes, and I needed to get this package out, so I kept quiet and waited my turn. This woman has also tried to put her makeup on me to see if it blends well with my complexion, asks way too personal of questions, and eats while she is helping people. She needs to go. Until then, I will be shipping via UPS or the Perrysburg post office.

This is the second time Ive had the great displeasure of having Tim be the post office agent I had to use. He is the older gentleman in his fifties mustache brown hair. I dont mail a lot of things out so I had a just a few questions about how to ship my item. The first question I asked him was if it was possible to do return shipping where I could pay for the shipping to have the item returned to me after it was serviced. He stood there with a blank stare on his face for several seconds. He did not know the answer to that question and had to ask his coworker. She was very friendly, simple solution to the problem. Then I told him it wasnt necessary for me to do the return shipping and then I would just have it sent there and figure it out another way. Even still there looking dumb founded motionless for several more seconds.I then told him I would like the package sent via Priority Mail. Which he quickly and almost snidely responded by asking me if I had a shipping label done in a tone as if I was such an imposition for him having to do his job. I told him I would need one because I wasnt sure what kind of label I needed for the method of shipping I used. He handed me a label and asked me to step aside so we could help other customers while I fill that out.The next issue I ran into was him telling me that it was going to cost me more because of the size of the box I chose to use. I asked him what the dimensions were for the next price down so I could try to save myself some money. He then proceeded to show me approximately how big with his hands. Thats when I asked him if the computer said what the next size down was for a lower shipping cost. He said no and that information could be found online. After I finish paying he put up his close window sign or whatever the sign read. Then proceeded to give attitude to the person behind me in line because he had a lot of stuff to do in the back.I dont typically leave negative feedback unless its really bad like it was in this situation. Ive never had this bad of an experience at a post office before Im also planning on camping this to corporate.

I do a lot of business with the Maumee Post Office through my work, I went there today and sent out paperwork to our client and when I returned to my desk there was todays mail delivery. There in the middle of the pile was important mail that I mailed out the day before so it would get to location by tomorrow, I went back to Post Office to have them get it to location by tomorrow, I was told it would cost me $22.45 to get it there, I said why should I pay when it was your mistake. Was told that they will never pay for anything like this and was told to drive it to location. Now there is real customer service, Also there is one lady there that waited on me earlier and she had her hand full of sunflower seeds putting one in her mouth every 30 seconds and checking me out with one hand,This place needs a manager that can enforce Customer Service, If I did not have to go there I would stay clear but due to location i have to use it often. So sad that they dont represent themselves better. I wonder what they make an hour?

Horrible, first they overcharged my dad on a Christmas package for me, did not even ask if it was fragile and it came broken with a big broken glass jar with bbq sauce all over the package and sharp broken glass and everything was ruined. I called and talked to Tina and she kept making up excuses, my dad is old and they took advantage of him, they could have easily put this inside either medium flat rate boxes *they claim they were out today, umm this was shipped on 12/21 (quit making up excuses and make it right) . My only Christmas present ruined, thank you He spent good money on this gift what a nice surprise to get a package that was then wrapped in plastic in the outside by the post office because it was soaking wet, only to open it us with the entire package soaked inside with bbq sauce. $10.00 overcharge is a lot of money on an elderly person on a fixed income, shame on you. I told him he was overcharged but did not have the heart to tell him my gift came ruined, he has several health issues. Please teach your employees to take care of your customers who are your bread and butter. (I would have put 0 stars but it would not let me)

Before going south for the winter I submitted a temp change of address on the USPS website. After no mail for two weeks I called and was told I needed to submit another one. When I called back shortly later to give them the confirm number on the 1st one a different man told me it wasnt in the system but they had it. Told me he would fix it. After no mail for another week I called again and a lady confirmed I was in the system. Its now 24 days after forwarding was to start and no mail. Lucky for me I can check my bills via the internet or the late fees would be coming.

Excruciatingly slow service from rude bearded women. There must be a hiring policy that only allows for old hags with an inordinate amount of body hair to work there. I need to find out why I have received six emails stating my package has been delayed (Coming from Detroit, only 45 minutes away) all over the last 6 days??? 6 days to come 45 minutes...Id say it was lost at this point, however I can not get someone to answer....BAD SERVICE!!!!!!!!!Update,,,,,, I have now tried calling them now 50+ times, still busy???? I think they take the phone off the hook, so they do not have to be bothered with phone call issues???????

I gave it three stars primarily because they are open late. Other then that I think the people that work here are typical to below average post office workers. One person in particular really irritated me there. It was 620 on a Friday and I had missed the pickup at my work but it had to go out that day to make it to a client by Monday. I was shipping using one of the flat rate boxes and it had the slightest bulge. She told me she wouldnt accept it because the item I was shipping didnt fit. She also told me I would have to get a new box to ship it because she couldnt accept that box unless it was being shipped using that method. So here I am on a Friday at 620 with no way to get another box before they close and just trying to get off to start the weekend. All over a 1/8th of an inch bulge. By the time I got a box that worked UPS and Fedex were closed so I had to resort to paying for overnight which cost me about $70 more all over a 1/8th of an inch bulge and a disgruntled power hungry postal worker.

This post office is awful. I called to ask if they could hold a package for pickup since it was already a day late and I wanted to get it as soon as possible, and the postmaster REFUSED to do it for me on the basis that me standing at the counter being handed a package takes away from revenue they could be earning from the people waiting behind me in line. When I asked what about the revenue theyd be losing when I come down there to stand at the counter and formally complain, she told me if I did that shed have the cops waiting for me there to arrest me. Some customer service.
