My wife has had her vehicle serviced/repaired here several times. Great work by honest professionals.

Good honest folks. I had a pretty wonky experience, but they stayed committed and consistent and professional throughout. I had a coolant leak, they diagnosed it as leaking radiator and quoted to replace it. They called back the next day and said they thought it was just the hoses, and significantly reduced the quote. I picked it up, and it still had a coolant leak, so we took it back and they confessed to potentially being overly optimistic in trying to save me money, and actually the radiator did need to be replaced. So they took it back, took everything back out, replaced the radiator, put it all back in, and only charged me the difference for the original quote. We take it home and two days later, theres a coolant pond underneath the car. So obviously I was pretty incredulous and suspicious at that point. They had been super friendly up to that point, and I felt bad about calling them back a third time, but dang, I just wanted my car to stop leaking coolant! At no point did they even hint that I was an inconvenience or a problem customer, they just owned it, and instead took it as a challenge. They offered to pay to have it towed back to their shop, saying that they were going to get to the bottom of it, like they were the scooby doo gang taking on a new mystery! We had AAA, but I thought that was quite a gesture. Turns out the THIRD problem was the hose clamp failing on the the upper radiator hose, and so it came loose and sprayed coolant everywhere like some kind of blue liquid party under the hood. So they fixed that at no charge even though it wasnt their fault and stayed late on a Friday to get it done. Their professionalism and good humor was refreshing and Im pretty sure helping me actually lost them money, but I felt taken care of and respected, and I will have no problem taking our Honda pilot to them again. But hopefully we wont have to!

I do like this place overall. I usually would go to Especially for my maintenance. I used them when i had my accord. I to come in for a Emergency because i needed a battery for my Civic. I kinda felt ripped off when they charged me $22.50 just to put a battery in. I wish Especially Honda was closer but it was an emergency.

I just had my first experience with these guys and could not be more grateful for them. I had a timing belt job done on my 2006 Tundra and also the front ball joints replaced as the truck is now at 205K miles. I also had a strange noise that I couldnt figure out where it was coming from so they looked into it for me. They called me the very next morning early after I had left the truck with them at the end of the previous day, with a full explanation of everything going on. They were completely honest, and so articulate regarding the trucks needs. They checked the spark plugs too and realized they were fine so didnt change them. The price for the timing belt was very reasonable, and the ball joints was as well. Ive seen some first generation Tundra trucks have gone over 500K miles with proper maintenance, so I have great hope I can do the same with Sandlappers auto care. Great service, very quick turnaround, and just excellent people to do business with. I cant recommend them more highly.

They told my wife her ‘07 sequoia was a throw away and they would get rid of it for her. She went back and picked it up, took it to a shop down the street who reset the code out of limp mode and it’s running fine ever since. Wonder how many others they e pulled these shenanigans with?

All I got was an oil and filter change. They did a great job. I will always take my Toyotas or Hondas to them.

Absolutely the nicest people and most trustworthy garage around! We take all of our cars there for regular maintenance and have used them for checking our used cars we are considering buying. Always honest and helpful. They took time out to show my daughter how to check her oil herself and add more if needed. Great business!

A++ I am on my 3rd Honda vehicle that I will only take to Sandlappers for maintenance and repair. The owner is honest and straight forward with his work. On one of my older Honda vehicles he would tell me this is what you HAVE to fix and this is what you MAY fix if you like but they are not required. They even worked with me on the cost when my vehicle had to be towed. I have been taking my Honda vehicles here for almost 20 years now and have always had a positive experience. These guys are great!

I have had several experiences with these guys unfortunately, and they all ended with my car being back in tip top shape. They take care of their customers like they are family. Youre not just a paycheck to them. They guinely care about your experience there. Everything that they have repaired on my car and diagnosed on my car has been nothing short of perfect. Pricy and RudeI took an Accord there for brakes. They did a good enough job as I would expect (nothing over the top service wise). The price was much higher than I expected to pay and it took much longer than I expected (1 and a half days for front brakes when I called a few days ahead). They tried to tell my wife the starter was bad without really diagnosing the problem. (Problem was that it was 20 degrees and the car had an older battery). They were very pushy over the phone as well. I was told to go look at prices and call them back. Very abrasive. I figured I’d try them out as my normal mechanic is across town and this is pretty close to where I live plus the reviews were pretty good. Needless to say I won’t be back.

Sandlapper diagnosed my HONDA and offered me the best bedside manor Ive seen in the industry. They are so fair, patient and customer oriented. Their service is impeccable and I highly recommend them for world class quality automotive service.

Sandlappers shop deserves ten stars out of five, its that good.If you have a honda, acura, toyota or lexus, you need to have it serviced here. This is the best shop in the state, maybe even the country. They are willing and capable and will actually diagnose problems and make repairs, instead of just replacing parts. They will not try to sell you repairs that you do not need and they do not try to upsell BS like coolant flushes and such.Kyle at the front desk is supremely knowledgeable and patient if you have questions. The shop and waiting area are surgically clean. The service manager is personable and honest. The techs are friendly. The prices are fair and the work quality is second to none. There is literally nothing that could be improved here.

Always go here when I have any issues with my car. I trust them with my vehicle and my familys vehicle

Tom Thackston knows Hondas to a T. I will always bring my Honda here. He knows what is wrong right off the bat and the repair is perfect!! It is as if my car was speaking to him with every sound it made. Ill go as far to say hes the Honda whisperer.

Set ice not so good. I was in the market for a used car and it took the only person there 10 minutes to get off of a personal phone call. Then he rushed through the selection of vehicles that were at my levelLOL (he based it on my down payment)
