Purchased a property on November 5 2020 - what one calls a double closing. Took them 12 days to get the first deed recorded for the first transfer(other title companies take 5 days or less; even with Covid); 2nd deed was not recorded until January 7 2021 over two months later! This caused tax bill to be mailed to previous buyer and so a late fee was incurred; then it caused hundreds of dollars of expenses as the delay in recording prevented a deal from being closed on a timely basis due to FHA rules. When the derelict action was brought to their attention, the lady answering the phone promised Rohan will take care of it and compensate for any damages. Thirty days later not a call, email or of course, any reimbursement for damages. The other reviewer is right - they are a derelict company - do not allow them to do any work for you! The whole company is incompetent.

I closed the sale of my home in May 2016 with Hometown Title. After receiving a tax bill on the second parcel that they neglected to transfer at closing to the buyers, I notified them of the error and was sent papers to sign and have notorized. Months later I find the parcel was still not transferred. I contacted them again and was assured it would be taken care of immediately. 2 months go by, and I receive a rather rude email from them to inform me my parcel was never transferred over and I need to sign forms and have them notorized. It is now the end of August 2017! This office is disorganized, unprofessional and lacks basic customer service skills!
