I have only been to three classes so I am just starting my journey here. But my experience has been stellar so far. I cant wait to see where Ill be in the years to come. Great place for both kids and adults! My daughter loves it, and so do I! Weve been going now for about 9 months. Its a true family and home away from home. She never wants to leave after her class is over, she wants to stay and hang out. I dont blame her either because thats exactly what I do haha. She gets exercise and knowledge while having fun, and I get the same. Even though the curriculum for adults and kids is different, the experience is the same. Lots of sweat and smiles! Truly a family! There are classes for everybody, from someone just starting out to people looking to compete. Theres also plenty of other women who train. Overall, a welcoming and safe environment for everybody and anybody.

Where do I begin. Its been three months since I started here, it already feels like a family when I go in to roll. Ive been to other BJJ gyms, and Fenix in Marlboro stays true to the culture of BJJ. Respect, diligence, all that good stuff.The black belts here are high level athletes. In fact Fenix BJJ placed #1 in the Boston Open where athletes come from around the world.The instruction is always done thoroughly, and they do a good job of correcting everybody.Its a great experience being at this gym, if you try it you wont want to stop!

If your trying to learn BJJ for self defense or trying to compete at tournaments, Fenix in Marlborough is the right school to go to. Theres a reason why this team is 2 time 1st place IBJJF Boston champions and has the most podium trophies than any other BJJ school in Massachusetts. First of all, I just have to thank the Soneca BJJ team for the wonderful work they have done with all the children. The Soneca BJJ academy is a super familiar environment. My son has been in jiu-jitsu for 3 years and has helped him a lot with discipline, focus, self-esteem and physical endurance. My son is a child with super active heart problems but due to his anomaly he was unable to keep up with the exercise ... he was tired fast. He is currently a child centered, disciplined and physically conditioned. Luiza
