Best customer service hands down, very polite and knowledgeable on any questions you might have! These ladies are awesome!
Take your chances if you will but Im disgusted. Signed up for the Fast Break program then I prepaid for a weeks rental. Instantly Budget charges my credit card then just as quick cancels my reservation. Out of the 5 phone calls, lengthy hold periods and explanations from my end, no one at Budget could tell me why it was canceled. I eventually figured it out, address not matching of credit card and home address. But they did charge the card regardless. End of story, for all of my frustrations the kind folks at Budget offered a $21 discount to rent the car for a week which results in a $742 hold on the credit card for a one week rental of a full size car.
Do no bother wasting your time here. Went to pick up a compact vehicle with 2 limited selections. The one I picked obviously wasnt the right one because it was overheating and smoking. Waited 3 hours for vehicle from Boston to be towed to me. On top of that waited an hour for the call rep to try and tow the vehicle to Boston so I would have to drive it back. That was not an option for me. Then after that whole ordeal same day went to budget at 530 waited until after 12 for everything to be finalized and car towed to me. On top of all this when I went to renew they charge you new market rates for the next week. Tried to contact them and the call center the people are just disrespectful. On top of that they need the money up front to extend and will start harassing you from lost prevention and you try and call back and end up waiting over 30 minutes. No one picks up your call. Then I finally am able to return the vehicle and on top of all this they charge all these miscellaneous fees. When this all could have been avoided. Thats why they call it budget then. Do not rent here or any other location. Boston was also very short on vehicles. Worst experience I have ever had in my life!
The girl at the counter was friendly.The Company would not rent to me because they dont accept the type of CC I used, Prepaid with more than enough funds available.With the need to protect oneself from different fraud, including Corporations, I feel it is necessary to protect my identity by using this type of card.However, when it comes to rental agencies, they dont want to deal with these cards, most likely because of the handful of times others have created billing issues for them. Thats ok though, there are other ways around traveling with Budget. Ill put my 200$ elsewhere.

Love the location. This is inside the Royal Plaza hotel so you can just leave your car in their parking lot. Never very crowded and good service.
Not sure if the location is particularly bad or if it is a broader Budget problem, but Ill gladly pay extra to make sure I never go through the pain of having to rent through here again. Brief summary: placed a reservation 2 months in advance, arrived on my scheduled day and was informed at the counter that the type of vehicle I reserved (and required) was unavailable. No prior phone call to give me a heads up, no apology at the counter. When I asked what had to be done to find me a vehicle I was told that I (the customer) could start calling around to see if I could find any. Phone calls with 2 levels of supervisors were either completely insulting (a Supervisor named Jackie told me that it was Saturday - what did I want her to do?) or unresponsive (a District Manager named Nick did not answer repeated phone calls). Hours of phone calls got me nowhere. Do yourself a favor and reconsider renting through this place.
They placed a 300 hold on My bank account in addition to the bill..they claim to need 10 business days to clear this hold. AFTER ..10 business days I had to spend a 1/2 hour on the phone with My bank and budget to clear it. I would NEVER rent from them again
Gave a price online, accepted my card (Expedia) and charged me for the insurance, when arrived for pickup, claimed that they did not accept my card type (American Express) and would not rent to me. Ruined my trip completely.
Very convenient location if you live in metrowest, easy to pick up and drop off, personnel is nice and kind.
Worst service imaginable! Allows you to sign up for a pick up time during the time they close without notifying you (which is at 2pm by the way, not an unreasonably late hour), charges you for the full week even though you lost a day from this debacle, does not care that you lost both time and money from your wasted trip to this location.STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

I rent a cheap car for a day for $ 65.00 + taxes total of $ 77, to my surprise it was taken out of my account $ 227.39 I never paid so much money for a cheap car, charged me absurdly for having returned the car 30 minutes after the time and tax up that rate, simply a steal! I never rent a car in this agency, so I recommend the poor service. I had to put a star to publish but for me it is not worth a star at all.
