Customer service is on point. But for a million dollar company, get your team some better equipment! It’s terrible that the systems were downs and everyone had to leave to go get cash

I would like to preface by saying I give WAYYYYY more positive reviews on here than bad. Probably 10:1 ratio, but they earned it. I had a trailer hitch install scheduled with them for roughly 2 weeks. The week of the install they called and cancelled because no one ordered the parts. Isnt that the point of the reservation? I eventually got over this and decided I would try rescheduling with them simply because it is convenient for me. They are in a good location and going to do the work for a fair price. My first phone call went to the call center where the manager was sent a message to call me. My second call made the actual Markham location, but after a 30 minute hold the worker had no clue what I was talking about and unable to help me. Her attempt to leave a note for the manager to call me must not have worked as I still havent heard from him a week later. A third call went back to the call center which again was going to have the manager call me. At this point I was done reaching out...until they charged my credit card the full price of the install even though they never did the work, rescheduled the work, or even returned a phone call. Very bush league operation. I would welcome a call from the manager at this point but already know how that is going to end. Beware! Giving a 1 star because I cant give a 0.

Terrible service trying to rent car trailer. The Lowering handle didn’t work before we even touch the trailer and the employee kept wanting to blame it on us saying “oh don’t know what y’all did to it walking to the trailer in the back and me getting back there “Recommended to take the employee with you to check any towing equipment before you blamed as well.

Great place to rent a truck. I probably rent 4-6 times a year from this place. Devonte and his crew are solid people, never had a problem with them. I highly recommend Canterbury...

What is everyone complaining about? I have rented moving vans from here about three times. They have always processed my paper work right away and got me my moving van ready to go. I helped my son move last month and we needed a moving truck. I returned it with gas like asked and they charged me what was told. Theyre running a good establishment. Thats all you should ask for.

Been here for over an hour waiting to rent a trailer. Put in a reservation, and found out the hour Ive been waiting (we got here on time) counts against my reservation.For what its worth, the lone employee they have here has been very friendly, but i cant go over one star because weve been planning this furniture move for a month and now weve lost over an hour of time waiting.Employee said shed come out to check, but theres another 6 customers in line so I dont know if well even get out of here today

The initial first experience of customer service was fine then the problems began the trailer was not hooked up correctly nor was the connection for the signal lights or brake lights they immediately fix the situation and I thought all was well the trailer was fantastic I used it to tow motorcycles for the day I returned that evening as a nighttime drop off but when I received my bill I saw that I had been charged for an additional day I went back to the location bought it to the managers attention nothing happened went back again I was assured that it would be looked into nothing happened I called corporate and a couple days later I received the credit for the additional day that I was charged there is however one young man that works there he is not in management he has a Muslim name he is incredible he is professional he is kind he is courteous and I hope one day to they see what I see and promote that young man to management

Very helpful when it came down to helping me rent a truck and got me in and out the store manger which I believe is Devon or Devonte was really and seemed to know what he was doing which honestly surprised me because I thought he was a bit on the younger side.... but keep up good work guys

LITERALLY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! 7/7/18 from 2pm-630pm for managements reference. I simply called to ask about a motorcycle trailer and get it reserved for pickup at 6:30 pm. I apologise for the long review but it was a lot of terrible service.First call I was put on hold for 15 minutes had to call back to be put on another 5 minute hold. I get transfered to this girl who got my drop off time wrong and put for 17 hours after pickup which I clearly stated I need 24 hours. She clearly didnt listen so I had to call back again. Put on hold again.... Then guy was then charging me for 2 days so then had to call back. 75% of time I was on hold. Had to call back multiple times just to get back through after 10 minute holds.After all was said and done my friend picking up the trailer was going to be running late. So I called back at 6:10 to be put on a 5 minute hold again. I asked them if i can have someone come up there before they close and pay for the trailer till the truck gets there. (Understand the whole time Im asking questions the guy is putting me on hold everytime) They said no and I asked if the facility was fully fenced off. They said yes. I asked to speak with a supervisor they said no one was there.Then the sassy chick that took my reservation down incorrectly comes on the phone with an attitude saying that the ID needs to match the card blah blah blah. I then informered her that someone will be coming with their own ID and card...... She said ooo well ya thats fine. (Heres your sign) instead of arguing with customers you should want to help not cause an issue..... But wait IT GETS BETTER...After ALL THIS HEADACHE..... I get a phone call 10 minutes later when my friend is there and they say the trailer isnt even there!!!!!! FRIEND DROVE ALL THE WAY OUT THERE TO FIND OUT ITS NOT EVEN AVAILABLE!?!? (This is the girl that messed up my reservation in the first place).... So then I say ok well what are we doing here dont call me with an issue find a solution here. (Very unhappy by this time) Reluctantly she searches and finds one in Glenwood.I will never rent here there are a million uhaul places take your business elsewhere..... I will be contacting corporate as well.

The customer service was great. Mr. Aaron Hurns was very attentative and knowlegable about the products. I would continue to do business there.

The staff was great, they helped us out big time. The site to see was the young lady operating a fork lift like a boss. She made my day

I rented a truck and trailer which broke down in another state. Found out the mgr was never to rent me this truck to go out of town even though my reservation states my intent along with me discussing my trip with the me prior to driving off. UHAUL and this location did the absolute minimum in trying to address my situation and didnt care that I was almost stranded in Michigan due to their faulty truck and miscommunication by the mgr. They gave me the craplies truck to drive back and what should have been a 4 hour trip turned into 17 hours!!!!. I filed a complaint and they said the manager here would call me, that never happened!!!. THEY didnt adjust my bill, nothing. I Will never use uhaul again.

Best rental center we have seen, well informed employees, pro fessional manager, new storage center looksgood also. Trucks are some of the cleanest we have seen also.

Why in the world would this place have only 1 person working in the whole place in the middle of the day? The wait is ridiculous!!! Not the workers fault as he can only do things so fast but again why would they only have 1 employee to do eveything?

Ive had mutiple dealings with this location and go out of my way to give them my service.

Went to get a propane tank filled. The company did not have a person certified to fill the tank.

I always have to wait 20 minutes to get a propane fill. The communication here is very low.

I made a deposit and after returning the trailer after business hours but before due they didnt return my deposit once I went into the office the following day, sad that this company have no problem receiving your money but have issues seeing to you getting your damn deposit back, Im not nearly done with speading the sad and over tired some experience in had with these unprofessional individuals

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I was told over the phone that a certain size truck available, when I get to this location I was told that the truck was already reserved!! THIS SHOULDVE BEEN KNOW BEFORE TELLING ME THE TRUCK WAS AVAILABLE!! THEN THE GUYS WHO WERE IN THIS LOCATION WERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Never renting anything from U-haul.

Slow....slow....slow....been here 30 minutes still in line....this is ridiculous....one person working and hes supposed to be new...he obviously needs to be retrained and should have help
