The work was done in a short time,better prices than a the other 6 places I checked into, the staff was TOTALLY friendly and curtious, I was given a free diagnostic on possible future problems to check into. And quoted just as afordable prices as the work Id had done, I have had zero problems with the work they did on my brakes! Excellent,great!, And awesome! Id recommend them to my best friends ma ma !

Not very good . My husband has had his truck in there for the 3ed or 4th time in the last 3 weeks and they still cant get it right. Down to one car is for the birds.

The prices here are pretty steep, and the mechanics arent friendly. I went there to solve a charging system issue. They replaced my battery and told me nothing else was wrong with it. That fixed nothing, as it was an alternator issue. They didnt fix my problem or even find it for that matter, and their only solution to help me out was to give me another system check for free (instead of the $50 they charged the first time) and Id still have to pay full price for everything else.The receptionist is delightful though.

The staff was professional and courteous, while servicing my fleet vehicles. They had a nice waiting area, clean restroom, and even provided transport across town to assist me. Great place.

They put oil in my brake line.... Took my car to another shop the mechanic called hales and the mechanic admitted to putting oil in the brake line said it was an accident but didnt fix it... hmmm. Dont take your car here. The owner used to be great wouldnt allow his mechanics to do shady stuff but now its like he doesnt care anymore and it definitely shows. What a shame for this company to go downhill

I work for IDOT, I drove a state truck there for safety inspection. Everything went well. Shop is very clean and professional looking.

Service is good. Just make sure to have all the warning lights turned off when finished. I use it for everything automotive.

Will never take another vehicle there again charge me $900 to fix Anti-Theft something the Chevy dealership would only charged me 500 then when I get it back I have no brake lights take it back then he charges me $175 more to fix something that they broke in the steering column talk to the Chevy dealership they told me they have had lots of vehicles brought to them to fix after leaving Hales Automotive very unprofessional do not recommend

Worse place ever!!! Joe refused to fix my truck after they messed it up. Then told me to never come back there. I had to take my truck to another shop ( Best One Tire & Service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) To get it fixed right. When I called to speak with him about what the other shop told me.... He refused to take care of the bill which would have been the right thing to do. SMH#To court we go.

Joe and his team really took care of us. Our van nearly lost a wheel on Hwy 57 on our way down to Florida for family vacation. Ernie came to tow our vehicle to the shop but also dropped my husband and son at a nearby hotel. After I arrived with our other two children in a sheriff vehicle Ernie had to go back with a flat bed truck after determining in the rain and dark that our rear wheel wouldn’t have been able to be towed. On his way back a second time he stopped at the hotel so we could get some things out of our van for the night. Joe took care of the vehicle first thing the next morning and made sure to carefully inspect all parts of our vehicle so we could continue on our trip and feel safe. I can’t recommend this shop enough for how they treated us and the timelines of their work.

I had Excellent Service!! I take my SUV, my mom takes her car there and my sister takes her SUV also!! We all take are vehicles there and get excellent service!! I was just there June 29th 2012!! Wonderful service they check everything and let you know what you need. They let you know also how soon you need to get something fixed and how much it will be. My family and i definitely recommend Hales Automotive for all your vehicle needs!!!

Horrible customer service and stupid, hidden fees.First thing I asked was if they could fix my car, an import, they could.Second thing I asked is if they could take me home and pick me up after car was fixed, they said yes we do that.But no, they didnt. They took me home after sitting and waiting for 3 and half hours.After car was fixed, by 2pm, they couldnt pick me up from my home, I have no one available now. was what I was told. I said fine, how about tomorrow? He said fine, tomorrow morning I can pick you up. The morning came and went, I called at 1 pm afternoon, nope cant have any pick you up until after 5 pm.If you say you have the freaking service, than freaking provide that service, dont lie and string people along. I wasted $35. on taxi ride.Hidden fees, LOL.Had shop fees $20. When I asked what shop fees are, he said, paper towels, stuff like that. I said really, $20 in paper towels, what freaking BS!!Never go back. Horrible customer service!!
