I absolutely LOVE the crew at Denny’s . They are the most honest and proficient shop I’ve ever dealt with!!! Highly recommend going through Mike and Travis and all the all the other guys working there!!!!

You will not get better service from any other muffler shop in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area. They put a full custom exhaust on a vintage car I own and have done 2 other full exhausts for me in the past. Do yourself a favor and call them for your exhaust/muffler needs. You wont be disappointed!

Love this place. They always do right by me. I have no idea how their prices compare to others, but they always diagnose and fix my car correctly. I dont have to worry about one of those places that sell you something you dont need. The last time I was there, it turned out I just needed a minor repair. No parts needed. And they did it for free! They made me a lifer.

They have a wonderful diagnostic tool that pinpointed the problem, they fixed it and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone I know or come across.

I took my car in to have the check engine light looked at, it cost me $314.00. Then with the engine light still on. They told me I needed a new fuel pump at a cost of $450.00. So now I have a car that I cant drive because it is leaking oil thanks to them. If I take it back to them they are just going to charge me more money.

I brought my car to Dennys to have them repair a broken flex pipe on my cars exhaust. It took them less time than they estimated, and it has been holding up well for a few months now. They removed the old flex pipe and welded in a new one, and I feel like they charged me an appropriate amount for the service. Phone and in-person customer service was smooth and professional. I plan to use them again!

Thank you for your excellent service and for your honesty. I came in for new front tires and a new bearing assembly on the right front. The estimate was for more than $700 dollars.After you installed the tires you test drove the vehicle and discovered I didnt need the bearing assembly. The bad tires were my whole problem. And you told me that. So my bill ended up being less than $400 dollars instead of more than $700 dollars.Several points here. If you hadnt test driven the vehicle after putting new tires on the front, you might have gone ahead and replaced the bearing assembly, assuming your earlier estimate was correct. So doing that test drive was smart and honest.Also, you could have replaced the bearing assembly anyway, and charged me. I wouldnt have known the difference.But you didnt do that. Why Because you are professionals who are also honest. And you treat your customers well and honestly. I REALLY appreciate that. Which is why Ive been doing business with Dennys for more than 20years. And I will continue to do so. Thanks Dennys for being good at what you do and for being honest!Jeff Thompson

I typically use Dennys Muffler in Marion for my car needs. Ive been using them for over 7 years. Their prices are moderate-- not super cheap but not over priced. But I wouldnt trust a cheap mechanic. They are honest-- they have told me before they werent able to fix my car (ie: needs a transmission specialty place) instead of ripping me off by trying to take my money and fix my car. Ive taken my vehicle to them for a strange noise to find out it was just a loose bolt (NOT caused by Dennys) or something easily fixed and they did not charge me anything. All the staff Ive interacted with are very friendly. They always try to work around my schedule. They take time to educate me about what needs fixed and why so I understand exactly what they are doing. I will use Dennys in Marion for the rest of my car ownership years.My cars theyve serviced: 2005 Chevy Impala and 2013 Kia Forte

My whole family takes their vehicles to Dennys. I took my car in yesterday to have my breaks redone. The service was so fast and friendly and the work was amazing. I was also shocked on how cheap the price was, I had gotten an estimate from 2 other shops and Dennys was by far tge best. We will continue going to them for everything!

It took 5 days to get my vehicle seen for only 2 hours of work. Made the appointment at 3 & they didnt get it in the garage til 4:15. They charge $105 an hour for labor- which is higher than average. The office is not kept up well- very dusty & dingy. The mechanics were polite, though.

Went in for a rear brake job. Was told it wasnt needed the noise was just break dust even though the car has 120k miles on it. Cleaned it out with no charge. Could have done the job and taken my money but didnt.👍

I took my vehicle in to have the radiator replace. The computer said they needed to pull the front bumper to remove and install the radiator and would cost me $900. Dennys found a way to not remove the front bumper and saved me nearly $500 off my original estimate. Most shops would have done exactly what the computer said and charged me the full amount. Dennys goes the extra mile to save money and time for their customers.

After finding out the quality of work, and the down to earth competitive prices, Ive switched to Dennys. Theyre also timely and friendly. Its worth the extra distance from where I used to go.

Will not go back there. Went there for exhaust work on my truck and the guy argued with me about what pipe size to use, despite the fact that Im the customer and I told them what I wanted exactly. He was extremely rude instead of trying to explain his reasoning. When I picked up the truck they used the correct pipe, but they did not put the tailpipes where they said they would. They said it was impossible to do it like that even though it actually would have been less work and one less bend to do what I said. Then after crawling under there I saw how horrible of a job they did. First, as someone who welds every day, whoever did mine couldnt weld to save his life. Im surprised the exhaust actually stayed on. The porosity of the welds was incredible. Looked like they used a MIG without turning the gas on. I had exhaust leaks everywhere from where the bubble gum welds had gaps in them. I had to reweld every joint they did. Also, where the pipe changed sizes, instead of using an adapter, they just filled the gap with weld (that leaked too..). I then took my truck to Professional Muffler in CR and they re-did the tailpipes the way I wanted them as well as fix a couple other leaks. They were done in about 30 minutes and everything was perfect. Welds were perfect and airtight. Couldnt be happier. Dont bother with Dennys. Do it right the first time and go to Pro Muffler.
