Outstanding shop! Called them after 4pm on Friday, when most places dont even want to talk to you. They came out within 1/2 hour and helped me get my car into the shop. Then they acquired an alternator replacement and had it installed in less than two hours. This is as good as you can get for an emergency auto fix. And the cost was at the low end of the range for this repair for a RAV4.

I was traveling north in Paducah, Kentucky with blown hub seal on a hot shot trailer. A local RV joint couldnt help me out, but recommended Vernells almost an hour to the North. I called ahead and service manager Cory was incredibly helpful. He was correct in that they had the parts for the axle brand on my trailer, and he was able to get me in and back out without seriously impacting my HOS driving time. I cant say enough good about these guys. Cory and his mechanics are great. Polite, professional, and really good at what they do. Many thanks to the shop.

My horse trailer blew its second tire during trip... (my fault, they were 6 yrs old, figured I would replace after vacation). Cory was so helpful over phone, set up roadside tire service if my friend couldnt get to me. When I arrive at Marion location. Cory & Jess got me set up me up with new tires all around... they worked at lightning speed, as the horses were on board. They also allowed my friend to pull his truck/ trailer into an empty bay, so my friends horses werent baking in the sun. I recommend this location highly.PS: Will be back down from Chicagoland in five years for tires!

Was straded on the side of the highway in a terrible mood. The tow truck driver made everything so much better by honestly just being professional and comforting in such a terrible situation. The service guy was awesome when I got there and made everything ok!

Waited 5 1/2 hours for a tow for a tractor/trailer. Every time I called for an update I got a different story from he is on the way to he got held up at another call and couldnt leave until released by police. When he finally showed up to get my driver he wasnt even in a heavy duty tow vehicle. I told him to leave and we would find a different tow company. THEY showed up in under an hour. Never going to use them again

We had a blowout on our 5th wheel along the highway. Good Sam called this place to help us. Bob came out and saw that we had enough rubber to make it to his garage. After we pulled in, he let us unhook from our 5th wheel to get our luggage over to the Super 8, which is in the same parking lot. Then we were able to get something to eat and come back.Bob told us it might be awhile as he was on-call. That wasnt a problem.Bob told us that the previous owner of our new used 5th wheel had put very cheap tires on it and they were in bad shape. He was correct. Our new used rig weighs 20,000 pounds and they were tires for a 4,000 pound trailer. Bob had 6 great tires in stock at 8pm on Labor Day weekend. Where were we going to find other tires at on a holiday. The price couldnt be beat either!!My husband went back over at 1:30am and got the 5th wheel. Bob even let him park it across from their shop.Bob also checked the trailer brakes and found that one was damaged in the blowout.Bob and Austin were easy to understand, speaking clear English. We were treated with respect and they acted professionally. We would recommend this garage to everyone. They offer a great 24-hour service, as well as being open during holidays. We couldnt find that anywhere else.Thank you Bob and Austin. Keep up the good work.

These guys are awesome!! They saved a long road trip for me, 22 hours of driving, and I was only 5 hours in. I drive a Caravan, no big rig or anything like that. Wal-Mart Auto Center had literally closed down right in my face, and these guys were the only thing close to put a tire on my rim to complete my trip. A donut spare wasnt designed to go so far. Thanks a lot fellas.

Was worried to come here because of a couple of reviews. I’m and older woman with an older truck and didn’t want to be taken advantage of. They checked the used trailer I was going to purchase thoroughly and I have been ecstatic driving it. Now they checked the used truck I was gonna purchase (for $20 inspection). Ecstatic again. Will go nowhere else !!! Met the owner and the manager !!! They r phenomenal. Don’t know what the other reviews meant about “Indians”. But regardless, I wish people would just love one another. Try this place, effective, honest, cheap and FAST!!!!! I’m going nowhere else now!!

Our motorhome almost lost the front drivers side wheel due to bearing issues. We were towed into Vernells late Monday night, they inspected and ordered parts Tue morning and we were on our way Friday evening. Biggest delay was getting parts out of the Ford factory. From tow driver to the owner everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, and the charges were fair. Wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

This business is amazing! My wife was trailering a 2 month old calf (Nina) home from Kentucky on a Sunday when the trailer was hit by another vehicle. Randy brought his own trailer to the scene and helped remove the calf from the wreckage. Rude, unhelpful staff. Got my oil changed and a stop a couple hours back. When I checked the oil level later that day I noticed it was a couple quarts low. brought in my own oil and asked to borrow a funnel to top it off and they a wanted to charge me 25 bucks minimum just to borrow a funnel for a few minutes.

My wife curbed our van and blew out 2 tires. I called to ask if they could help us out because the tire shop closed in 1 hour. The gentleman on the phone got someone right out there and towed our van to the tire shop with plenty of time to have it fixed that day. He was very polite to both my wife and myself. We will use them again.

All the guys are layed back here. They know their jobs and are very good at them. I try to get all my maintenance done here. If it has to do with a truck they can get it done. They have a 24 hour shop with road service, towing, and rescue. They have their own private lot you can park in and if you find yourself stuck over night the super 8 is right in front of them and you het a discount for being in the shop.

The problem I have is I am the operations manager for this company and have never heard from these unhappy people. We are not perfect but I believe we are fair and professional. The service I received at vernells interstate service on a road call was excellent. Had two bolts break on the thermostat housing. I called and talked to Ben and explain the situation. He put the mechanic Lucky on the phone and I told him what I thought we need.Lucky brought all the right tools drilled the broken bolts out and had me up and going in 2 hours. Lucky was very knowledgeable and a good mechanic. Thanks for the great service.

The 3 gentleman that were working tonight really helped us out we were traveling from southern Georgia to Illinois and got a flat tire. When we called they said that unfortunately they did not have our size tire but they provided us with a quick solution of where to get a new tire. We were able to obtain a tire and bring it to the shop where they helped mount It and put it on our vehicle all within minutes of showing up to the shop even with it being 3 in the morning! I was on a senior bus tour coming home from Nashville when the radiator hose and cap broke. We were so lucky our driver got us to the Casey’s where she called Vernell’s. They sent a mechanic who assessed, went and got parts, and had us up and running in no time. We had many older people with who couldn’t stand in the heat for long that day so it was great to have such fast, knowledgeable, and courteous service. Thank you!

Blew out a drive tire and the tread cut an airline about 40 miles south of Marion, IL. I called before I arrived and they had no problem taken me in. I arrived and they change the tire and fix the airline leak very promptly. Very nice people over here. Btw when I arrive they doing some work on a horse trailer and a car. Most semi repair shop wouldnt touch an automobile.

Traveling northbound on I-57 when not 1 but 2 of my travel.trailer tires blew out. I contacted them for assistance on a holiday Sunday! They were fantastic bunch of guys who got.me fixed up and rolling again.

Absolute lifesaver! Got a flat tire at night while traveling from our home in Little Rock, Arkansas to our house in Wisconsin with my daughters, dog and my grand-baby. A trucker stopped to assist and recommended we go to Vernell’s as we shredded our tire and needed a new one. Drove the 60 miles to Marion, panicking the whole way. Once safely inside Vernells, we were reassured they’d get us back in the road. They had our tire in stock and had us back on the road in less than 30 minutes!! And for cheap!! They really could have charged more given we were between a rock and a hard place but they didn’t. I cannot recommend Vernell’s enough especially if you are a female and find yourself stranded anywhere near this place. Super nice, super fast and super honest guys. They don’t make ‘em like this place anymore. Wish they were closer so I could use them for all my automobile needs! :) Thank you Vernell’s!!!

I was towed 60 miles was told on the phone the cost was $600.00 but after I was towed it changed to $925.00. Will not be using them again.

Just to change this it took 3 hours and half, they told me they have the part in stock he just has to go and grab it from the shop, shop was only 5 MILES out . He came back after 1 hour and half and mechanics dont know how to put air in tank i had to teach him over the phone

Lucky was awesome!! Im a Motorcoach Driver for Chicago Classic and my bus was having some mechanical issues. I had 48 passengers waiting to get this issue resolved and when Lucky showed up with that big handsome smile my worries were over. He quickly diagnosed the situation, took the part off within 10 mins reassured me that we would be ready within an hour and safe when he was done and we were. Outstanding customer service when I broke down along I-24 Sunday morning during a move. From the person who took my call and made sure they had very detailed location information to Brice who showed up shortly afterwards with a big smile and very positive attitude and was quick at getting the trailer repaired and back on the road. Highly recommend.

Blew a tire and these folks got right on it. Fixed tire, wiring and mud flap in less than an hour after arriving. Felt like I was in good hands from the first minute I got in. Decent price for the quality of work.Plus got free parking for the night when the pilot was full.Looked at my bill and the labor was only $100. Three guys working on the truck. I wish there were more than 5 stars to rate this shop

Be careful with this shop I had a bad experience with them they told a price over the phone and when they finished the job I got charged triple they ripped me off they are professionals to still. Well they don’t really finish anything add oil in $$ bad bad shop

My wife and I were traveling 4 hours from home when the radiator failed. We knew about Vernells because they helped our sons one night when they were traveling. I pulled in at 11am on a Sunday, they took one look and said they could take care of it. Just a few hours later, we were on the road with our new radiator. They were very quick and honest. Wonderful place if you are ever in need.

My Husband and I had a pretty bad accident this past weekend and Vernell’s went above and beyond helping us !! The Men that run and work for this Business are unbelievably the Kindest Gentleman I’ve ever encountered!!! And a Special shout out to the Recovery driver Roy !!!! Our truck was in parking lot at truckstop across the street and they charged $210 for road call after they told us there wouldnt be any charge, Total bill was over $800 and they did nothing. Our certified mechanic was telling them what Kenworth dealer said to do and they quite frankly said they didnt know how to fix it. They didnt fix and told us to go to KW Dealer, for this they charged $807.07, didnt even hook back up the alternator we discovered after truck died on way back to terminal. 3 mechanics were put on this and none of them knew what to do even after being told by Kenworth via our mechanic. If service is needed for your equipment FIND ANOTHER PLACE !

This place is a joke. They cant repair a flat tire in the hope of forcing me buy theirsThey refused to bring my spare tire from the rack. It took 1 hour and 7 minutes to mount the tire on the trailer. They charged $61.50 and asked me for a tip.I go there because theyre not busy but today was the last. I am recommending this shop if its the last option only.....

Semi broke down 30 miles away from their shop, got a hold of them at 8pm and they had their tow truck loading up my truck by 9pm. Got us to their shop and diagnosed right away with a blown turbo (that we already suspected). Next morning when Dustin came to the shop they assessed all the damage and had an estimate ready fairly quickly. They ordered the parts and had my truck fixed next day, Friday, at noon. Possibly the best shop/service that I have ever ran across on the road. I would recommend them to anyone!! Thanks again!!!!

My daughter was in between St. Louis and Nashville when she had flat without a spare. We had her Roadside service tow her car to Vernells. Good place to get work done in area. Fast service and professional. The only thing this place needs is a smoke free enviroment for customers like myself (ex smoker). Seemed as if everyone smokes inside the building, other then that, they do it all... towing, roadside, mechanic diesel and gas.

We just got our front steer tires replaced by Vernells. Our truck was a Freightliner Cascadia, got BF Goodrich, they have Michelin & BF Goodrich no raggety tire brands to choose from. We felt compelled to write a nice review specially for such a wonderful service that promtly and professionally addressed our problem. We also had the best price!.

Went in for fuel filter replacement and told me i needed a new turbo. This is the first time i ever went out of my way to give a bad rating. Reason being that i want other drivers to know that this is one of those places that will take advantage of you if you dont get a second opinion. The problem was the fuel filters and thats all, truck boost worked fine after that. Lost a load and trip back home because these guys decided to play mechanic......

Was in the parking lot of pilot walked down to the shop because my truck shut off it need a fuel filter I told the guy that I wasnt able to drive to the shop he gave me a price of 50 to 100 my boss called an told them it was going to be 100 an some change but there is a 2 hour charge so they like to say one thing an charge another an didnt say anything about a 2 hour charge to me an it took them forever to get here an fix it not happy at all
