This now marks our 4th Real-Estate transaction with Kathryn Harbour Real-estate. The most recent of which was the sale of our home during a pandemic and economic recession. As usual, the team at KH delivered. We decided to purchase a new home late last year, move, and then worry about selling our old one. What could go wrong? What we didn’t anticipate was a pandemic that would require the closing of all non-essential business 2 days before our home hit the market. On a Thursday Governor Kemp closed GA and on Saturday we had an open house scheduled. Needless to say, we were worried. We moved forward as planned. We had 4 over ask offers by Monday and were under contract Tuesday morning. Due to various circumstances with the buyers, we ended up under contract 4 separate times, never having to relist the home. I can’t speak highly enough about my experiences with Kathryn Harbour Real-Estate and their entire team. My wife and I recently closed on our 5th home, the third of which we were represented by Kathryn Harbor Real-Estate. We weren’t planning to move, but decided on a Sunday morning to see what was out there. We found a home through a quick search and within 3 hours Britt met us at the property to take a look. There we were Monday afternoon making an offer and were under contract before we knew it. That proved to be the easy part. Only with the help of the KH team, we later discovered major issues with the property; including a boundary line issue with an adjacent property, non-permitted additions and structures, a septic tank located under a deck that wasn’t serviced in 25 years, and that the entire septic system was under sized and in need of full replacement…to name a few. If it were not for the KH team and their expertise, we may have unknowingly purchased a home with multiple costly issues. However, through their tireless efforts, great negotiating skills and guidance, we were able close on the home we wanted. Not only did we close but were able to close with 2 additional adjacent lots included (not included in the original contract), and a brand new, appropriately sized, septic system, all for the original asking price.
