One of the worse post offices I’ve been to. First of all the time on google is incorrect. This post office closes at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m. on Saturday. I came in a little before 4 and I didn’t know they closed at 5 and the lady started getting smart with us and saying they’re closed and to bring our packages up. She was very unprofessional about it. I understand you’re closed but you don’t talk to customers like you don’t have any sense. The ladies that work here have awful attitudes like someone is forcing them to work there. They’re slow and they always have long lines.
Im signed up for USPS Informed Delivery notifications and received an email showing 3 pieces of mail I would receive that day. I received 2 of the 3 and the piece thats missing is my IRS Tax Refund Check. I believe it was stolen. Ive contacted the USPS Office of the Inspector General because I dont believe its coincidence as I have always received my mail when I received those informed delivery emails. My refund check is the ONLY piece of mail I have NOT received. Does anyone pay for a box at this location (3000 Windy Hill Rd SE)? Has anyone else experienced missing/stolen mail from this specific location?
They always come up with the reason to close the post office. If not, close early. Staff got so much attitude and they need to be trained on customer service. They need to hire people who would love to work. Staff seem like they don’t like working there.
Erica Robinson is the worst postal rep I have ever encountered. She is extremely rude, nasty and has a horrible attitude. I have first hand experience and I have also seen and heard how she has treated others. It appears as if she hates her job. She does not belong in the front dealing with customers. She has no customer service skills. She is very confrontational when questioned and very dismissive. She belongs behind the scenes out of site.
My favorite post office. They are always so friendly. They usually only have one line open but Im never in a rush when I go there so I never mind.
They helped me set up my P.O. Box even when customers were extremely irate waiting in line. We have enough going on with this current pandemic that is was nice of them to be attentive to each persons needs. Although I haven’t received mail in 2 months, my packages have all arrived so I will continue to be patient and wait for my regular mail to resume.
I really hate this location and the employees too. Like it’s personal ATP, they make it personal that you need help with anything. Fire them all
Worst post office Ive ever been to. Slow, unprofessional, and Brittany has a very bad attitude problem. The white lady is very nice Brittany should be fired.
The “Lee” lady is extremely rude. We stood in line over 10 minutes and not because customers needed extra attention but because she was choosing to “take her time”. When I finally got to the counter she didn’t even say hello but told me to go out to the kiosk and precedes to lock the door. I told her I didn’t know how to use it, had already been in line for forever and I literally drop packages off weekly with no issue in getting a receipt; it takes them not even 5 seconds to scan and print but she proceeded to tell me it would take too much of “her time” again wow! Horrible customer service here and usually the customer service at this location is okay. I don’t come here often however the few times I have come it hasn’t been this bad. USPS PLEASE for GODs sake hire people who WANT to work for you and either train or let go of people like this. It’s disheartening as a customer service manager myself to encounter people like this when I know many who are trained, skilled and ready to do the job because this Lee lady obviously doesn’t care about your company nor your customers. She may fit better behind the scenes and not out front with people face to face. There were about 3 other disgruntled customers who all had different issues with the same person. This bad customer service has got to stop!
Originally posted from March 2021. Worst service. They close early for starters (at least by 4:30pm) but they keep access to the self kiosk inside. Problem was the drop box was sealed off and already emptied bc they were closing early. Me and a line of other people are trying to ask the 2 ladies working here where to drop off our priority mail after using kiosk and they are literally walking away ignoring us while we’re asking them these questions. And then says she’s “I’m not on your time and doesn’t know anything where to drop the priority mail”?? I’m like YOU WORK HERE AND WE’RE TRYING TO USE YOUR SERVICE. I attached the picture after I left at 4:58 with everyone else trying to figure out how to get their mail sent out. I’ve worked in customer service before so I’m pretty understanding with service workers, but this was like a whole other level of how to NOT treat customers.
The unprofessionalism of this establishment & USPS as a whole has absolutely blown my mind. Lets start with the hours of operations are supposed to be 8:30 am to 5pm, so why are you closing at 4pm? & what is the point of a local number if they dont answer & what is the point of a customer service line if all they say (if you can get anyone) is to call the local branch. Fire everyone & start over, we are in desperate need of a rework.
Worst location! Rude staff!
I was in desperate need of a PO Box. I just moved to Atlanta and didn’t want to interfere with the person I’m living with’s mail. I came on a Saturday and expected to have a huge line up. The line up was long but they were very quick! The staff was really helpful in helping me choose a box size and the helped me feel like I was making the right decision! I really felt like I was being taken great care of! Every time I come to this post office I feel like I am being well taken care of!
I am disgusted with this location! This will be a federal lawsuit. Lucie may be little Lucie doll seriously.
I dont know if this office is having financial issues or something, but the hours seem to be getting cut short. Not only does it routinely close at 4pm instead of 5pm, but I went today and they were closed at 2:30. The employees are good, but its just not a reliable location.
The rep working here is rude and unprofessional.
Rude lady!!! At front office... Location states they close at 5 PM but I walk in there at 4:07 and she’s like oh we’re closed.you guys are supposed to close at 5 PM. This location is always something
Lady at the counter was rude as hell. Told her I was new to eBay and just wanted to make sure my shipping was right. She refused to answer any questions or even check my packages. Instead I got a lecture about how if I was doing eBay then I need to print off something to scan all together. Was told that if they were busy then they wouldnt have time to DO THEIR JOB. Wont be back.
Our mailman is messing up really bad. The guy drops mail on the ground and leaves our apartment mailboxes wide open sporadically. This should seriously be looked into, as tampering with mail is serious. Our mailman has almost definitely ruined several lives.
The Muslim girl is so fast and friendly. She knows her Job she gets us in and out real fast.
9 people in line and they decide to process the stacked up pile left on the unused counter by people who didnt want to wait. Makes total sense why this location gets such bad reviews.
Line out the door and they actually locked the door so it’s impossible to go in to get supplies. Self service machine doesn’t work. As someone who tried to support them (vs. ups/fedex), I’m about to give up.
I have always received best service here though the crowds can build up pretty soon. They greet people and service is pretty fast, just make sure you go during off peak hours. Parking can be a bit difficult and getting in and out can be time consuming.
Due to my work i need to visit USPS almost 3 to 4 times a week and trust me this one is the best as compare to all the other USPS store near by. to begin with there are at least 2 at this location and hence all thou crowded you still have the line moving. The reps are ok not great. They might smile at you if the work load is not that much. Overall much better then other USPS location.
Ive had very positive experiences visiting this post office and believe its one of the best ones in the area as Ive visited many. There is always a shorter line than most and the staff is super helpful and friendly.
Anything other than bills, vanishes. I don’t know how packages are marked delivered and they’re nowhere to be found. USPS needs to get their act together. FedEx/UPS everything. Do not use them. If I could give anything lower than 1 star, I would.
Cant do anything right..
Every time we come here we have an issue. The customer service is terrible and the clerks always have a terrible attitude.
Always understaffed and those who are there are typically unhelpful and/or lazy.
The customer service was not welcoming. I mailed a package on March 31, 2020 and it has stil not been delivered as of May 11, 2020. I have contacted and visited several post offices in the area and no one could assist me except to call consumer affairs which they could not help. I have not received a call back as of today as promised. What else can I do?
I picked this location because it was closest to me. I was running out of time because I only had saturday to go here. I saw all these reviews and thought oh no, this place doesnt have very good reviews. I walked in, not having any idea what to do or what to use to ship about 30lbs of stuff in country. Long story short, I had been going through a hard time and then by the grace of God a man named John was the most kindest soul that could have helped me that day. He told me what to do, gave me a box in perfect condition which held everything I had perfectly! Not once did was he rude or impatient. Super friendly and helpful, and didnt even take me that long. Thanks John!
@ this post office I saw a remarkable moment of professionalism. One clerk spoke to the other while they were helping customers and the clerk said Sir we will discuss that later. How may times has this not happened to you when you are at a cash register and the clerks just keep talking to each other like you arent even there? Very professional.
Tax day 4-15-15; two people behind the counter at 1:00 pm when I arrived. Wait, really one person as the second one was on lunch break for the first 30 minutes I was there. The computers were slow and there were at least 25 people in line ahead of me.Both employees were polite and cordial but things moved so slow it was terrible. My turn at the counter 1 hour 10 minutes after arrival, the CSR mentioned how hot it was in there right before a customer in line got sick in the lobby. Very happy I was quickly handed my receipt and was on my way. Tax Day - Two people behind the counter. Seriously???? Could they not plan any better than that? And who is gonna clean up that mess?
The staff are extremely disrespectful. I tried to put a rather large package in the dropbox and the workers yelled at me from the attached room, through the glass doors, instead of coming out to talk to me like a person. Then, when I tried to drop my package off with the man at the counter, explaining that I already had a label, he shouted no, no, no! at me as I tried to walk away. Words would be nice, instead of being hollered at like an animal. If you want to be treated with respect, avoid this location. Or ship with FedEx instead.
Rude, slow and not accommodating!
My daughter went to go get a change address card and they gave it to her, they told her to fill it out at home and put it in the mail when she could of just filled it out there and handed it back to them.
I just left and wow what great customer service I received! John was so outgoing and funny! Very nice experience!
Mailed a money order in an envelope from this location 16 days ago. (going from Atlanta to Charlotte, NC.) Should have EASILY got there in three or four days like aways (when I mail from my normal south side location.) But this time, it never arrived at the destination. Ive confirmed that the money order has NOT been cashed or attempted to be cashed thus far. That tells me its still somewhere in the mail system, or actually still in the post office because...when I dropped off the letter, I recall the mail chute in the post office being blocked by a package and overfilled to the point where letters were a few inches away from coming out. It was inside the chute and inside the building so I thought it would be okay. Lesson learned.
5-10 minutes before 5pm several customers rush into post office. No luck post office door is locked. It was NOT 5pm yet. Disappointed customers turn around with mail in hand return to their cars. Another customer arrives with box already stamped but nowhere to put it because big mailbox was stuck. Bangs on the door. Had a HARD time handing it over as Manager wouldnt take it, told to put it in letter box, that did not work- too small, then sends the guy to side door. Why didnt he just accept it the first time???!! Hours of operation need to be more visible on the door. Some of the clerks are Great, they try, but the Manager is often Grouchy & Grumpy :(
Ive had mail lost from this post office. Dont drop off anything important if you want it to arrive at its destination.
This location is in desperate need of a renovation. The air conditioning is not adequate. Customers are sweating and it’s 55 degrees outside. It is in no way aesthetically pleasing. The staff seems friendly and making the best of the working conditions.
No one smiles and everyone is angry. I hope that the employee morale of this location improves before they loose employees
AVOID AVOID AVOID! Unless you AGREE WITH DISRESPECT AND BEING OVER CHARGED! This facility needs to be shut down, the instructors/workers are disgraceful. They do not have the proper organization structure for people in line and the display for instructions are out of date and hard to read. I went in trying to get the appropriate documents to mail in my tax information. I had to get in and out the line almost twice. The fist time the man re-directed me to the instructions board behind me. They have an awkward station posted behind the line. Once filling my information to its entirety, I got back in line and received a rude lady that looked African American Muslim from New Jersey. She tried to tell me to get out of line to stick my stickers on the envelope. Meanwhile another customer had privilege as there was a woman with a baby and stroller left out to get something from her car and came back to the counter. I ignored MUSLIM /New Jersey and stayed there to get stuff processed then she proceeds to tell me, “maam watch what your doing” and kept trying to refer me back out of line. She completely made me nervous and then she overcharged me for the envelopes. This facilitie needs new workers and a cleaner environment. Until then they will continue to loose customers and the business as a whole.
Staff are nice. The place itself looks like 1000 years old. And there is usually a long wait time.
Amazing workers, their customer service is awesome, but def look like they could use a few more people and a new AC to keep workers & customers happy!
Was in line for a few, like any establishment these days, but overall was handled with great customer service, professionalism, and kindness. John was a pleasure to work with, and he knew exactly what he was doing!
The best post office around. People are so friendly.
Extremely rude staff. Was told to use the tape at the counter to stick my label to the package I was dropping off by one staff member and then another staff member stood there and after watching me use it, said I shouldn’t be using it. That I should have paid for tape. Rude rude rude. Learn some customer service!
I hate that this is the closest post office near me. Lines are ALWAYS LONG! they are completely understand staffed and the staff they do have more very slow. There is an employee there who wears a turban who seems as though she hates her job. She has a rude attitude and doesnt offer any customer service. Please hire more people!
Following up with a one-star review for this location based on a recent experience. I watched a young lady wait 30 minutes in line with four perfectly packed boxes only to be told in a rude manor that you should have done a better job in regards to her packaging. She was also told do NOT get back in line. Poor management here and even worse customer service.
The lady at the desk was very friendly. she was incredibly helpful and professional. great post office!
They close at 4, not 5.
Nothing but awesome experience every single time! Great service
Location hours posted online indicating that opening hours are 8:30am on a Thursday but at 8:54am they were still not open which threw off schedule for my day.
Never delivered my package and im at home waiting for a month to recieve my new one. Horrible people and service
Staff turnover makes this place unreliable. There are some good clerks in the past but I heard most have quit or transferred
Friendly, professional and reliable... I have used this office for 20 years and never had anything less than great service.
I went this Saturday to open p o box staff was very nice and quick service.
Love people here. Lady in counter with Hijab is very attentive and Pleasant.
Basically very rude employees... Well at least one. The lady that works there cant be bothered to answer any questions.
Both clerks at front were very rude, one girl REEKED of cigarettes, not friendly service at all. The girl waved her hand toward a label I was supposed to get, told me to come back when I was ready, and walked away. When I asked the man that was also working what label she was talking about, he was very rude to me. I walked out, not about to waste my time for rude service.
This place has one person working behind the counter around 11:00 am. In a post office you need at least two. The line is ridiculous almost out the door.
After I had such a horrible experience at the Akers Mill USPS I decided to come over to this one on Windy Hill and everyone was so much nicer! I will definitely come back here again!
Because they have morons working in the back they closed my Po Box and sent back packages during December and no one know why because computer shows Im paid up for 6months. All I get is idunno. I need a job there. You get benefits for being mediocre it appears . Thanks alot. Too bad FedEx doesnt have boxes.
This office is a bit hidden and hard to find. Look to the right of Massage Envy. There is a strip of building that had a green stripe along the top - thats where the Post Office is.
Employees ARE VERY RUDE, THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR EMPLOYEES OR HAVE THEM TRAIN TO BE MORE COURTEOUS TO THE PEOPLE COMING IN TO THIS US POST OFFICE
So glad the kiosk is there!!
Incredibly slow service, unfriendly personnel. Drive the few extra minutes to another location.
Dont ship items through USPS. There are always problems. I used white duct tape to secure the label to my package and they told me that was not allowed, so they made me buy their clear tape and cover my duct tape.
One of the co-workers threw a package at me.
Its a quick wait.
Horrible customer service. They all had attitudes.
Rude, unhelpful service. Drive elsewhere. It will be worth it.
Hey, its a post office. Staff friendly.
The worst, Rude, lazy postal office workers, they dont care, they feel secure on their jobs so they dont give a SHHHH!@# !and all this starts with the manager he is so rude and nasty!!!
The absolute WORST USPS you will ever experience!
Small neighborhood Post office
Its closed today but here said Open
Really rude people that work there
This place is behind the building so drive around to the back
Rude
Poor customer service
Very rude
