[ Lost (2) Stars ] Prices Have Gone Up Drastically. Invoices are not clear and costs are mixed up. Can not get clear information about vehicle once finished other than the bill. Not sure what is going on there or I am just seeing the way it is by going there more often than other places.So far so good. My wife trusts them so Im okay with them. Wish the prices were a bit better. Especially since she -always- goes to them and gives them consistent business. Otherwise we have to go out to Acworth or Marietta to get good deals & excellent service.- - -

I was very impressed how I was treated for my recent issue with my car. The front desk women was very pleasant and I was able to get my car back the same day. I was never up sold on anything and felt like I didn’t over pay for the service....which is rare now a days. I will definitely be back for any future issues.

It is difficult to find a auto shop you can trust these days and I am glad I found Scott Delongss. The young lady in the front is super nice and great at communicating. When I pulled up, I noticed the shop owner out front looking at a car with a customer. This was a very good sign for me. I left my car to get a AC compressor installed. I received it in half day and at an excellent price. I will be back very soon.

Received exceptional service, and at a lower cost than a quote I received from a competitor. The diagnosis and solution were clearly explained to me with no fluff or add-ons. Ryan and the entire team went above and beyond expectations, made sure the work was done correctly, and made sure I was satisfied. High marks!

I was lucky enough to have the owner Scott Delong there when I went in to have my car looked at. They immediately upon entry put my car up in the air and began looking for problems. Scott was there with his flashlight and so is another technician. They couldnt find the problem me immediately so they began going through a Sim series of test finding out where the transmission fluid was leaking from. They found it they fixed it and did it for a great price. I highly recommend going to Scott delongs Auto Service. Plus I hear he plays a mean guitar!

Scott and Ryan make an excellent management and technical team. They approach you with a what can we do to help attitude, listen to you and then take the time to actually diagnose the problem before presenting you with a fix and the cost. The work is performed in a professional manner and they make themselves available to discus any follow up items and work to insure you are satisfied. Doesnt get much better than that.

One time, I thought my transmission was blown and would need to be replaced, but they let me know that it was really just low on fluid! That transaction alone probably saved me $1500. Every experience I have with Scott and his team are great. After hearing about them through a friend I decided to take my car here (Volkswagen). They know what they are doing and are consistently cheaper than going to the dealer. Theyve proved my loyalty to them many times. Ive gotten oil changes to engine work done.From their motto, the word honesty, is something that Ive experienced here with them. I recently had a clutch problem and they carefully diagnosed the problem in order to minimize what parts of the engine they had to open up and replace. While a more expensive type of problem in any shop, due to their processes, it was cheaper for me (less time).They couldve said that they needed to replace everything but they didnt. This usually happens when a shop isnt experienced (or doesnt take the time) and hopefully solves the problem by putting a slew of new parts in. Ive seen dealers take this course of action before including VW and Honda. You get that unsettled they got me feeling.As for my experience, I recommend Scott Delongs Auto Service. If you see any questionable reviews, ask them about it. Be upfront with them, ask them what the cost will be, quote the dealer, then decide where to go. Dealer vs. Scott, I will take my car to Scott from now on.

Our cars run and last longer & the employees intelligently answer ALL of my questions...i ask a lot...Being a young woman who has been through the most with mechanics (charging me extra & talking to me like Im incompetent of cars), DeLongg’s is the MOST respectful towards me & my mom! Each employee converses with each person with equal dignity & respect! I always refer them to anyone who ask me!I love that i can SECURELY lock & leave my car over night to be serviced first thing in the morning! They offer a ride if you’re close by while your car is being serviced, the lobby area & bathroom are clean, comfortable & diligently organized & the icing on the cake is how attentive to details they are AAAANNNDDDDDD their service time is impressive! The longest I sat in the lobby was maybe all of 20 mins for my oil change (because there was a client being serviced before me)! They even offer coffee, tea, hot cocoa, & water! Our regular mechanic got in over his head on our Volvo and recommended Scott. They fixed the damaged water pump, and correctly diagnosed an ongoing thunk that was fixed with new motor mounts (3 of which a family member put in). We love our Volvo, and will take to Delongs when it needs service from now on.

The price was a little high but they were honest and they did good work would recommend this place to someone asked me for a good shop in the area.

Rude and terrible customer service. I called to ask if they could replace my exhaust with a new one and the first thing he tells me is that they dont do aftermarket replacement. Really!? Because of liability purposes? Isnt that with every service you do? Then he proceeds to tell me that they have plenty of customers and plenty of business. I dont even know why he brought that up.. I think I called you when you were in a bad mood. A little advice for Scott, Learn to control your anger and dont put it on your other customers; Its childish.

I take all 4 of our cars here for all maintenance and repair. They are honest, straightforward, and dont see dollar signs when you walk through the door. Scott, his son Ryan, and the rest of the crew can repair any car including BMWs, Mini Coopers, and other foreign cars typically taken to the dealer. If you are taking your cars to the big national shops, you are making a big mistake. I used to go to those but they ripped me off so many times I couldnt go back.

I took my truck in due to it making a tapping noise, a mechanic rode with me and said it sounded like a lifter issue, cool. I asked would you be able to repair that this shop, he assured me yes I would. I left my vehicle and returned 6 days later to find that I still had a tapping noise and that they replaced the EGR Valve and charged me 99.99 for a $45 part also charging me $180 for labor. So now Im out of almost $300 and I still have my truck making a tapping noise. SMH.... I spoke with the owner and he said bring it back.... #Heated#disappointed#idonotrecomendthisshop

Had a 2003 Highlander with a coolant leak, after looking at the problem Chris has determined that the engine bolts had stripped, it unfortunately is common problem for this model and year engine. They kept the car for two weeks . After attempting a proven type of repair that cost over $2000, engine started to leak oil and coolant even worse. When we returned to Delongs, their response was basically too bad for you. They offered no type of compensation, and wanted to sell a new engine. Where is the accountability?
