Great place to go to if you have any exhaust leak,wholes on pipes and bad muffler. Get it diagnosed and take it to Mante they will replace the part for a reasonable price. I have an Audi A6 no one would work on it but Sergio at MANTE fixed all my exhaust issues. ;)

The witch looking girl that answer the phone is VERY rude, she lies like the mechanic test drove your car, service is poor. Save yourself a headache and take your vehicle somewhere else!

This the worst mechanic shop to ever go to. They use to be one of my go to spots, but the last couple of times I went was told something was wrong and it wasnt even half of the problem and wanted to charge double for something that didnt need fixed. Went to 2 other mechanics and was quoted the right price that the code reader read; wasted my time and day and one of the mechanics he is the larger one doesnt like to check out the vehicle he just does the code reader and assume its something; if you dont watch him he will mess your car up and say it was already like that; If you dont have a male or someone who knows a little something about cars DONT I REPEAT DONT GO HERE!!!

They treat you like family. I love this place.

I don’t go to the other location but I definitely love this one. From what I know this is a family owned business and at this location the daughter works as a receptionist.she’s very nice, knowledgeable, and eager to help. As for the actual mechanics, they’re really good and don’t give you false hope. The prices are what attracted me to this location and what has kept me as a customer are its services and convenience.

I was told about this place by a family friend, she actually stood on the fact that they were a good place in the community that wasn’t over priced and actually looked out for the people In the community. It was to my demise I would find out otherwise, I came the day before my service to find out the exact amount of a tune up. Due to my car misfiring, Once I arrived I was told a amount that I felt was very reasonable compared to all the other places I went to and boy was I about to find out why! Well for one the tune up (or ATLEAST what’d the consider to cover for a tune up) was done, however my car continued to misfire so I ended up coming right back and asking how come it’s misfiring still ? And it’s expressed to me because I need a ignition coil. . Initially when I left the car to be serviced, I was told I would receive a call when it was ready. I never did so when I called I was ONLY told it was ready typically it’s expressed “hey your car is ready but there are some things we should inform you about” whether other work needing to be done or whatever. So when I called and it wasn’t expressed to me about extra work needing to be done and that it was ready I didn’t second guess it at all. So after asking well how come the misfire wasn’t fixed? I was told because I asked for a tune up not for them to fix the misfiring and that I would now have to pay the same 300 dollars that I just paid as opposed to them maybe adding a few dollars more and killing two birds with one stone after they expressed what my car needed . That in itself is just all around bad for business in my opinion and WORSE than any of those corporate businesses on a crooked level ! Because if you go and get a headlight fixed by a mechanic ANYWHERE and he sees “oh well you’re turning signal bulb is also out” should he NOT express that to you, that would baffle you in regards to his ethics and morals correct ? And that’s where I stand with this company ! Some things are just morally right ! And I rather spend extra money at a precision,tires plus, or pepboys before I put another cent into a business in my community that doesn’t even care about its community ! Not to mention I literally called back with a face full of tears because I am not working and have 3 interviews I needed make it to for me and my daughter’s sake to happen ! I even expressed I could do 200 but I couldn’t go any higher than that practically begging ! I was told I would receive a call back after the mechanic is spoken to, to possibly see if he’s willing to say okay. I never receive a call back then when I call back I literally have had to call over several times because now my number is being screened when I call to NOT be answered and all in all the outcome didn’t have a solution in the end and I’m about to have to start all over from scratch with trying to now get this done ! Very very frustrating and it’s no okay to conduct business this way and NOT be okay with how it affects others !

I typically never visit a mechanic alone. However this particular day (03.20.20) I had to. When I say these people tried to take advantage of me!!!! I go in to get my catalytic converter replaced. The guy told me what part, I went to AutoZone to get the part. Come back he looks at the part and says it’s the correct part. So I wait two hours. The mechanic comes back and tells me it’s the wrong part. That I have the left one and need the right one. So I say okay I’ll take it back and exchange it. He then tells me that my car isn’t drivable because he’s already taken off the part. Well why the hell would you take it off before making sure it’s the correct part????? Then he stayed if he put it back on for me to drive he’d charge me double labor. Uuuummm who???? Not me!! I’m no ones fool! I advised him that as the mechanic it is his responsibility to make sure the part is correct before removing anything. Also advised him that I don’t speak car and I will not be paying $300 for labor. Making a super long story short I left and didn’t pay a dime. I will not be back. Sad part is they have serviced 4 of my cars. Two which I still own. But because I was alone this time now you want to try me! NOPE!!

Called this place for brake repair and the price and service was perfect and I was out in no time. They are not overpriced and I truly amazed. Will return again!

They replaced 1 coil pack 2 weeks ago. Today they say they dont know who worked on it, and cant look it up in their system. Now, supposedly 2 more cylinders are misfiring, even though the truck is running fine.The check engine light isnt on, and they claim the dash bulb that lights up the check engine gauge must be faulty.They want $425 more to fix something, but cant tell me what the problem is.

My experience with this mechanic has been completely awful. They are not customer friendly, and they charged me but did not repair my car. Ive taken it for the same issue 5 times and they continued to charge me for poor service. I would not recommend taking your car to the shop.

I have been coming here for 3 years and I took my car to get a ignition coil replacement and the guy with the ponytail only tightened a bolt and charged me 60 bucks and said if that didnt work to bring it back and be when I brought the car back he got an attitude when I said I needed a refund for the day before and he said fine she can just go somewhere else and I thought that was very disrespectful especially since I was a regular for 3 years but I wont be going back

Worst Machanic i got my breaks pad done so the next day my car was shaking and i took it back he told me it’s my rotors so he knew all along that i needed to change my rotors trying to rip me off no matter where you take your car for breaks Machanic always gonna let you know if my rotors or anything is bad you took the pad off and rotors are right there. And so i got my ignition coil change next day my engine light was coming so it was my spark plug which is on the coils he you didn’t have to change what kind off Machanic are they they really don’t know what are they doing i will never go back to them

The worst of the worst Mechanic shop!!! They forgot to put a bolt on my brake caliper and 3 days later my brake stop working and all brake fluid leak out. The brake caliper came out also, Thank God I could barely stop at a near by gastation and the mechanics are lazy cant even speak English. Not professional at all.

I received terrible customer service... parts that was removed was not re installed... no information or explanations on what repairs were done on my vehicle.... poor poor poor communication from the smart mouth young lady (pierced lip ring)... when I asked her if I may speak to the owner... she replied that she is the Owner... well in my opinion... your business Monte General Mechanic have lost a good Customer due to BAD BUSINESS... and I will not Refer no one to patronize that location.... 3 thumbs down

I have used this Mechanic shop several times with multiple vehicles. They do a great job I personally have never had any issues all my repairs have been completed quickly and correctly.( I have had Rear Main seals, CV Axles, water pumps, minor oil leaks ect) all repaired here with no issues. They are affordable and reasonably priced. This is a small Family Owned business so yes you might see there kids in and out of the shop. (I did say Family Owned Right???) But that has nothing to do with there service or the work they do. If you want the Dealership experience then go PAY Dealership Prices and sip on your free coffee in there waiting room. If you want good work done at a reasonable price this is the place.

I used this place several times after it was good. Then they double charged my account and did not want to reverse the payment. I went a few weeks ago with a different car and they misdiagnosed my car and told me I had transmission issues which didnt exits after two second opions. They take advantage of women.

I took my car to his sons shop on Austell Rd same name and all. I was told that I had 3 oil leaks was charged a certain amount which was fine. I took my car home & soon as I parked it I looked under my car and it was still leaking so I called back and told them what was going on & he said bring it back so he could take a look at it. They called me the Next day to come and pick it & I was charged $80 when I asked why he said because they found another leak. I told them NO ONE called me to tell me that they found a leak nor did they tell me that they would be charging me extra for something that they missed. I told them it would be fair if I gave them $40 && he told me that I could never come to his shop again because I stole from them. Clearly I got Ripped off. They wont be getting my business ANYMORE

Horrible experience! How is it that my car is worse now after paying close to $500 for repairs and Mante General Mechanics refuses to resolve the issue. When I asked to speak with the owner the clerk, Brenda Ortega, stated that she was the owner and that she made the decisions, but the business cards clearly state Eleazar Y Monica owners. Why do you need to lie?

My finance company and I contacted Mante mechanic on Sandtown road to get my vehicle towed and diagnosed. They never towed it!!!! They even had my key for 4 days! I called them and they said theyre tow truck isnt working. I was very upset because they had my number and never called me to update me. You have to constantly call!!!! My finance company came and picked the keys up and we had to tow the vehicle through another company. Horrible service. They even tell people their bad reviews are from the competition so that people can think other companies are complaining instead of actual customers ...The lady told me this !!!! 😑
