The crew was very professional and respectful in our home. We had the entire HVAC system replaced and 3 new intake ducts installed. I saw them removing the heating units from the attic piece-by-piece, but I could barely hear them. They really didnt make a lot of loud noises. I am also impressed how thoroughly they cleaned up after themselves. I inspected the work and there was no debris left behind.
We have used them twice to install a HVAC unit, and more more recently a water heater. Both are destroyed in a flood, so the unit was only do years old. They worked with us to get us a good price and even upgraded us at no charge when they did not have the same unit we had used previously
Super professional company. The prices are high, but you get what you pay for. Ive had a Cool-Ray Maintenance Contract for 10 years, and Ive never regretted it. This company is the gold standard in HVAC service. My technician, Jashua, was very thorough and professional. Excellent experience!

For years weve used Coolray to maintain our home AC and heating system. In the unusual times when our system has failed, Coolrays response was lightning quick. In our prior home, they did a fantastic job installing a new system, including improving the builder-grade duct work. Weve kept a maintenance contract with them for more than 10 years and never regretted it.
The technician was on time and very professional. However, the charge to replace a simple thermostat (not a smart thermostat) was over $350. This installation took no more than 10 minutes and was extremely simple. There were only 4 wires that had to be connected. An identical thermostat is available on Amazon for $79. I have used Coolray services several times in the past and have always been pleased, but I think I will shop around with other companies in the future. This price was ridiculous.
Steven did an outstanding job. He was thorough, friendly, professional and explained everything. One of our units is only a few years old, a Carrier that you installed, but the other two are very old Ruuds that just keep on running. He took the same care of all three. When the older ones finally go, we will definitely call on you to replace them.
I have had my share of questionable technicians but, Coolray was not one of those. Our air conditioning system went out and we needed to get it replaced. We started interviewing companies in April and each company we looked into didnt feel right. The representative that Coolray sent, Mike Ritchey was very thorough teaching us about the system requirements and making great suggestions. He recommended what we needed but also what would fit into our budget. I appreciate the time he spent with us. When we got our new units installed, the team came in, worked very efficiently and when they finished, they even cleaned up completely! No One Ever Cleans Up Completely after a job! We even got a thank you gift in the mail after the work was complete. Great company to work with, and Great customer service!
Coolray was able to schedule repair sooner than other companies I called. The technician was professional, considerate, and efficient. In my experienced Coolray has been price competitive with other repair companies Ive used, so I will call them if/when I need service again.
Coolray sent a technician out to look at and repair my A/C unit (I have two heat pumps). The technician (Cameron) arrived exactly on time and within the scheduled service window! He was professional, courteous and very thorough. Within 2 hours my main A/C unit was fully operational and cooling down our house for the first time this summer! The cost of the services were VERY reasonable, and I will use them again if I ever have any HVAC issues.

This company has been servicing my ac that I purchased thru Home Depot for almost ten years it used to be metro mechanical and then cool ray took over anyhow last May 2020 I called them for ac repair they said my compressor was out and I could either replace it or buy a new unit anyhow I decided to replace it in which I paid over a $1000 fast forward to last week June 2021 my air stops working again I request a tech for maintenance and he informs me the compressor was out again and that I was out of warranty for both parts and labors since my units 10 year warranty ended even though it was a new compressor I purchased from them last year. Anyhow I call another local independent provider and I bought a new unit for the same price as the compressor and everything is working fine now he also informed me that they didnt install the compressor correctly and didnt clean the compressor line which is what caused it to break down again. Do not trust this company theyre unethical and will rip you off and even mishandle your system so they can get more service calls and sales.
Scheduled a maintenance visit on a Sunday night after our AC stopped working. Bret from Coolray was out the next morning to fix our unit and got us back up and running with a few repairs. Apparently with an annual warranty maintenance plan, you get bumped to the top of the list. You better believe I gave that dude a sandwich.

We have had very good experiences with Coolray for many years now. About a decade ago, they saved us from another company that tried to charge 3X as much for a furnace repair, and they turned the heat back on (the other disabled the gas on the coldest days of a very cold winter). Service continues to be outstanding. Adrian came by yesterday for routine maintenance and made good recommendations (consider a surge protector). Our AC went out Sunday at some point while we were out and about celebrating Father’s Day. We came home to an 80 degree house and had a miserable, sweaty night. I scheduled an estimate online with Coolray around 4am and received confirmation not even 5 minutes after they opened at 9am. Jamie was our tech and he did a fantastic job! He ended up coming to our home over an hour before our scheduled arrival window- which was AMAZING! He was prompt, explained everything to us and made sure it was all in working order before he left. We ended up getting a maintenance agreement, so they can take care of us in the future because we were so happy with the work. Can’t wait to sleep in our nice, cool house tonight! 😊
From the initial call, to the sales tech (who was out to our house a Saturday afternoon within several hours after our call), to the warranty service, referral program, to the professional techs who installed our new unit quickly and explained everything to us, to everything in between, this has been a positive experience. I highly recommend using Coolray. *Within 2 hours of our new unit being plugged in our house is already at 75 in the middle of a hot day.
I have had a contract with Coolray for 21 years. My AC stopped working on Saturday morning, so I called. The person who answered the phone could not possibly have been more rude or disinterested. She said they could come out on Wednesday. I said not good enough--having a contract used to mean service within 24 hours. It was 90 degrees and 80% humidity this weekend, so it was miserable. I told her that I had a pet Chinchilla that could get heat stroke if the temperature in the house rose to 80 degrees. She suggested that I sit in my car with the AC running until they could send someone 36 hours later. I called on Sunday to verify the appointment and the rude person who answered the phone acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and then hung up. I called back and the appointment was verified. The tech came out on Sunday and found the problem (blower motor) and did a temporary fix to get the system back up. He ordered the part. Monday night I got a text saying the part was in and they could be out Tuesday between 3-6. I took the appt. The tech arrived at 8 p.m. and discovered that the warehouse people put the wrong part in the truck, so no fix. Coolray has grown a lot over the years and they have lost their way. Their customer service people are horrendous (I would have fired three of the four people who answered the phone this weekend on the spot). Starting about 2 months before the contract expires, salespeople call, text, and email begging me to renew the contract. However, even with a contract, customer service when there is an issue is pretty much non-existent. The tech was great, but the rest could not have been worse. As soon as the repair is made to my system (I had to pay a deposit), I am done with Coolray.
Coolray always provides great work and customer service. I know I will have a great experience any time I do business with the company. My encounter with technician Desmond Sellers was no different. I truly enjoyed his diligence and professionalism. I hope we get a chance to work with him again! He was awesome, knowledgeable, friendly, and took time to thoroughly explain everything I inquired about; as well as any insight he had on our current systems performance.

Abram was awesome, and the dispatcher was nice, too. No one likes to have ac problems in the dead of summer, but he made it easier to handle. He was quick, professional and kind.
I called Coolray to perform AC maintenance before the summer heat really set in. They charged me 250$ for a capacitor that was available for 25$ on Amazon. They claimed it came with an extended warranty. The AC unit has now been conking off every few weeks (the exact scenario i was trying to avoid by getting timely maintenance). When I called them, they told me their warranty only lasts 90 days and I am outside the window. They are a scam shop. Find someone else. Anyone but these guys.

I thought Jung was professional and did his job well. He explained the process clearly to me. He initially advised me about the state of my HVAC. When I needed to have the HVAC fixed, I specifically asked for him to be my technician. I was happy with the end result.
One of their drivers was not paying attention while driving and came about a foot away from running me over in a QuikTrip parking lot. Definitely won’t be using them if that’s the caliber of person they allow to represent them.
We hired them several years ago to install a new HVAC system as our old system had failed. At the time, our house was a comfortable temperature but the salesman said we did not have enough return air vents in our bedrooms and recommended adding additional returns, which we did. The installation was horrible as they installed large flexible ducts all over our basement limiting head room in several areas! I called them out to see what could be done and they tried to raise them but there was no help! The floor cutouts where the registers were installed was cut out way too big and they tried to fix those but could not. So, when I redid the flooring, I took them out and made the repairs myself! I know they are a highly rated company but I would not recommend them to install a new HVAC unit. I would give ALL of their service technicians a 5-star rating as those guys are very knowledge and professional!

A technician was sent out to diagnose an issue.He then quoted me $2,000.00 for a fan motor replacement. An absolutely absurd price. I have placed an order for an OEM variable speed fan motor for $450.00 elsewhere and will swap it myself.Do not recommend their service. Stay away.

We had issues with our Nest thermostat which was causing the system to blow hot air when the unit was set to cool. I scheduled an appointment and a technician came the same day. Javon was AWESOME. He re-wired our thermostat, checked out the AC and the furnace, and put up with our (crazy) dogs. He patiently explained everything he was doing and had a great personality. Today, I was charged $360 to change the A/C thermostat. That cost is well above the national average! Before paying, I called the Coolray office 3xs while the technician was onsite. I could not understand the technician. His accent was very strong and I wanted to dispute the cost. I kept being told that Donna would call me back but she never called me. I paid the high price out of respect for the work the technician completed. I would not recommend Coolray because I didn’t appreciate being told a manager would call me back or paying for a service that was overpriced.
Mr. Rosetti, our technician, was very professional and was able to quickly diagnose the issue with our air conditioning. He explained the problem and the solution. No overcharges or added costs. 4/25/21I had a new HVAC system installed about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday morning, the heat did not come on and there was an error message on my thermostat. I emailed Coolray and had an appointment the same day. Coolray worked around my work hours so I would not have to leave the job for the appointment. I called this company to repair my A/C at my place of business, the technician did a great job, the only thing I was told there was a service fee of 150 by the technician and I ask was it going to come off my bill after the repairs he said yes,, when he finished I ask for my invoice he said I would get it emailed over it came after he left, and didn’t take the 150 off the top. I called the company they stated that the service fee will come off to top for residential not commercial, they need to let you know that part up front..

I had some great experiences from Cool Ray in the past, but that was a long time ago and things have changed. I’ll never use them again. They are super frustrating to deal with and unreliable (not just unreliable on when they’ll show up, but unreliable on whether or not they can actually fix anything).
Had great plumbing service by CoolRay! I had a water line break on my property and thankfully called them. Cliff stayed until he found the leak and then both him and Seth made sure that it was replaced the next day. Cliff also pointed out some other things that I needed to get fixed to bring the house up to code. Super thankful to the crew that came out and their services!

I appreciated that Gary was willing to assist Kenneth by going back out to the truck for materials and not just stand there since he was the supervisor. Gerald and Juan were great and helped with installing a condenser saver unit as my lights would flicker momentarily when one of my new AC units would start up and they took the time to troubleshoot the issue and the amperage reduction this add-on had which resolved the issue and will also save my unit from working so hard. Coolray continues to be available when I need them as I called several other HVAC companies when I had an urgent need on the weekend and only Coolray was able to come out.

I have had a preventive maintenance contract with Coolray at my fathers house and my home as well for years. The last technicians who came out replaced parts that they failed to secure the electrical ground connection and it caused my fan motor to melt down to the point that you could smell electrical burning. They also said that they cleaned the coil but after watching another company clean it in front of me this morning the coil had obviously never been cleaned since its orginal installation. I have watched this company deteriorate to the point where I have no faith in their service techs or anyone who works for them and you will get nothing but excuses and lip service when you complain. In my opinion a word to the wise is caveat emptor, buyer beware.They sell you on a lifetime replacement warranty for your new system as long as they maintain it through their preventative maintenance contract, however, I would bet that when your new system fails 20 years down the road their company will had changed ownership and that warranty will no longer be honored. If by some miracle it were honored, unless their workers improve, then that isnt going to provide me much security or piece of mind in this longtime customers of Coolrays opinion.
