Really happy with our experience. I set up everything remotely. When I arrived, they met me with the boat and gave it to me the evening before so we could fish really early on the planned fishing day. The boat ran excellent. We used the systems- live well, windlass, electronics, etc. and everything worked. Boat had extras, like a gaff and a dive flag.

Terrible boats! They might be your last resort to rent a boat but it is not worth it! The boats are in terrible condition, dirty, ripped cushions and so many other issues.This doesn’t even deserve a star!Do yourself a favor don’t rent from this company for your own safety!

I had a good experience with renting a boat from KCBBR. I called early in the week, and Steve answered. He told me to text him my info (name, email, etc), and he responded quickly that he had the boat I wanted to rent for the upcoming weekend. He said he would get back to me. The next day, he called and said the boat would be delivered on Thursday night for a Friday - Sunday rental. Perfect! Thursday evening a young guy came over and dropped off the paperwork and a few fenders for my bulkhead. Upon asking, he also gave me a fishing net. 10 minutes later the company mechanic and another employee came with the boat. The mechanic went over all the details of the boat and answered all my questions. Although he was unable to work the square payment device, the guy that dropped off the paperwork came back to get my payment.The boat: I specifically asked for the 23 Sea Hawk fishing boat. While this boat is not luxury, it is essentially a no frills fishing boat with nav, fish finder, and a live well. We loved it, and will rent it again.We did have a scare when the engine kept turning off. We were far from home and a mile off shore, and the engine would not go over 5 knots and kept beeping. I called Steve, but he didnt answer. I texted him, frantic. he called me back in 2 minutes! He told me it went into Safe Mode. He instructed me to turn off the engine for a minute and restart. It worked. That was on Friday. Didnt have any other issues the rest of the time. We really enjoyed this boat, and I have nothing but good things to say about Steve and his employees.Thanks for a great experience Steve!

When I called on Saturday he had 3 boats to choose from, then he didnt show on Sunday to deliver. After texting and calling he said he didnt have a boat for me. With no explanations or apologies.
