My wife and I are a dual military couple traveling from Washington State to El Paso. After five days of traveling, something happened with my transmission and fluid and white smoke started coming out of my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. Due to issues with the tow company, Pierce Automotive was very accommodating and stayed open to receive my vehicle. My vehicle was diagnosed and repaired the next day. This repair was essential since the Trailblazer is towing a vehicle transporter and my wife’s vehicle doesn’t have a hitch. They were very professional and kept us informed throughout the diagnostic and repair process, something other repair shops fail to do. The cost to repair my vehicle was beyond reasonable. I wish I could take them with me to El Paso!!!! Thanks again for the amazing service guys! My wife and I greatly appreciate it.

Went to another to another shop to resolve the problem (part not installed correctly) for $60. There was nothing else wrong with my vehicle that was causing the problem, like I already knew. Not going into further details, because there is no reason to start another google review pissing war. Just know I love when I am right!!

On Sunday, June 27th 2021, I was traveling to Tucson to do a tow job. As I was approaching the Marana Road exit, my battery light had come on. At the end of the exit ramp, my lights dimmed and turn signal didnt function as normal. At this time I knew my alternator took a dump. I knew of a repair shop a quarter mile down the road as I have delivered a few cars there in the past, so I limped my tow truck there. I got extremely lucky, because there was an employee there doing some after hours work, so I was able to leave my keys and write down what needed to be done on my truck. I listed to replace the alternator as well as give me a quote for my fan clutch as I knew it needed to be replaced sooner than later. The next afternoon (Mon June 28th) I received a call from the shop stating that my alternator was bad (to which I already knew). I asked what the cost was gonna be to replace the fan clutch and the alternator and I was given a quote of $1,135. I told him no problem, to lets get it done. I didnt hear anything back until today (Wed June 30th) saying that my truck was finished. Said great, whats the final talley? He said my bill was over $1,600. Ummmm, I was quoted $1,135. Wheres this extra $500 coming from? The response I got back was they also had to replace my fan assembly which was $200 + labor (they never got my authorization nor approval to do this job), I was being charged a diag fee for a repair I already knew what the issue was. I said to replace alternator. Didnt need it tested. Already knew it was bad lol. I was charged a fee for battery cables and charging (also which were never authorized nor approved by me)I guess my biggest issue and complaint is people need to be aware when they take their vehicles into a shop for repairs. Be vigilant on what they are replacing or repairing. My honest opinion is that the shop should of ate the costs of doing the repairs on unauthorized services. At least call the customer to give an update on costs. The slap in the face wont hurt as bad. The lovely lady in the office did work with me and took some fees off the invoice.I am giving a 3 star because of their workmanship and they was able to get my truck back to be in 2 days, but the fact that extra repairs were made without getting my approval first is a big no no for me.

They took my sons 2005 Honda Civic that was on its last legs and repaired it to make it like brand new. He drove the car from Tucson Arizona to the Bay area California and back without a problem.Definitely exceeded my expectations at a fair price.

I broke down on a Saturday evening. I had no choice but to park in their lot overnight, due to the fact that I live in my RV. The mechanic came Sunday morning, and was very kind to me. Even offered me water! Monday morning, they got right on the repair. They had me back on the road by noon! Not only would I use this gentleman again. I will probably go out of my way in my travels to have them look at my rig !!!!! THANK YOU-THANK YOU !! Christine Douglas

We ran over a piece of metal and had air leaking out of the tire. Luckily, we were within a few miles of here, so we pulled in and they immediately got to work. They put a patch on the tire and it only cost us $12! They got us back on the road within about 30 minutes.

BEWARE: I learned after having some stuff taken out of my car that Pearce does not lock the cars they leave sitting out front. If you go here dont leave anything in your car.We took our car into Pearce to have the air conditioning compressor replaced as it needed to be replaced for a while. They did find a deal and bought a compressor from a Napa sale which they sold to us at cost. The compressor was replaced and we drove away happy to have our car back.Unfortunately, this didnt last long. We could tell very quickly that it just wasnt working as well as it had before. We took the car back to have them check it. They checked it and told us it was working to industry standards and gave it back to us. We knew that something was off but didnt know what to do about it.Soon after getting the car home, we started it up to go and as we were leaving something in the engine blew white gas out from under the hood. We checked and found that one of the air conditioning hoses had split open and blew refrigerant and oil all over the engine. We expected that Pearce would have tested the air conditioning system and found the bad hose before it blew. We took the car back to them again and expected a quick easy hose change. I was also told by Mike that the hose replacement would be free IF it was covered by the warranty. Although he must have known when he said it that it wasnt a part they replaced with the compressor so it would not be under warranty. After dropping the car off with them they later informed us that they couldnt find a replacement part anywhere. We waited two weeks for them to get the new part. Once they did, finally, they replaced it and charged us another $340 which was a huge surprise to us.After taking my car the Pearce off and on for many years I was very disappointed with the service we received. Two weeks of calling and asking them when we would get the part and then never receiving any phone calls back from them left us always wondering what was going on. I never received a single phone call from them. Then when we picked up the car we found that our stuff had been stolen out of the back. Mike told me directly that they dont lock the cars sitting out front. We basically lost over $600 and 2 weeks without the car choosing this service.

I set a date and took my 07 Volvo in to Pierce for repair on problems with my shocks n struts.I was told they were backed up, may not get to it the same day....Now I know why.I got a call back the same day ref the problem, gave the ok to fix it, and my car was ready the next day by 9am. The price minus veteran discount was a little under $700.00. If you know much about Volvos the dealership would have cost $1600.00 easily!!!The work was great as I went on a 3300 mile round trip to St. Louis, plus drove it around town during my 6 day visit, and had NO issues with the repairs.Sorry to the staff over at Pierce, a good mechanic is hard to find! When you find one you latch on to them like a bad habit!!! I found my mechanic so Pierce staff, my cars are your cars too now, well the up keep anyways!! See soon!!Buzz B. Gladden Farms Marana.

Brought my vehicle in to Pierce due to a check engine light and rough idling. They did an engine start up and quick look at the the check engine codes and said my entire timing system was shot and they needed tear my engine apart to replace major components like the cam gears. They said parts and labor was going to cost about $3,500!! I declined the repair and was charged $75 for the diagnosis. Decided to get a second opinion, took it to another mechanic who found a loose grounding wiring, he fixed that (for free! didnt even charge a diagnosis fee) and then told me to also change my oil, as my engines timing components can be very sensitive to dirty oil even if its only a thousand miles or so over-due. So i changed the oil myself and what do you know, 15,000 miles later and the engine has been running smooth as butter and the check engine codes never returned. Now Im NOT saying that pierce automotive was intentionally being malicious and trying fleece me (other reviewers on here seem to have good experiences) but I do feel like they didnt do a thorough job diagnosing the problem, and i learned its always pays to get a second opinion (in my case it saved me about $3,470 in needless repairs)

The people at Pierce automotive are amazing. My husband and I were headed on a trip from Tucson to Vegas for his 30th birthday the next day. Our car started to overheat in Picacho Peak so we decided to head back and hopefully find a rental at the last minute. (We had called a couple of places and they only had pickup trucks available.) By the time we reached Marana we had to stop again as the engine was overheating and we didnt want to further damage our vehicle. We parked at the Circle K and my husband spotted Pierce Automotive and we decided to stop in and see if they could take a look at the car. These guys worked very hard to find out the problem and get our car running in top condition again. They even worked passed the shops closing time until the issue was fixed. I have to say they got us to Vegas and back home with no issues from our car again. They were kind and friendly the whole time even though it took most of the whole day. (Our car was being a problem child). And the cost was pretty reasonable too. Thank you so much Pierce Automotive!

Pierce Automotive is a great place to get your car repaired ... and especially if you have a diesel engine, which is their specialty. Nice ... HONEST ... people.

Not a whole lot of Cummins diesel techs around town, let alone where I live. Went in with a small list of issues to be diagnosed and resolved and came out with all of them fixed. Everything was fairly priced compared to other diesel mechanics that gave me a quote. Once my truck was finished, they gave me a great detailed description on everything that was fixed. I also was informed of other minor issues to keep an eye on for future reference. The only downside, albeit a relatively small one, is the turnover rate in which they were able to complete my truck. It was almost 5 days
