My husband bought my engagement ring at Wedding Day Diamonds 7 years ago and we were thrilled with the customer service we experienced from Day 1 but recently, Wedding Day went above and beyond again! Since purchasing my ring, we moved to San Francisco but I desperately wanted my ring re-sized and cleaned up -- after a quick email with the Wedding Day Diamonds Maplewood team, they shared it would be no problem to ship my ring and everything would be taken care of. Im not kidding, they received my ring and within one day, it was resized and shipped back to me with next day delivery. When I received my ring, it looked like brand new and fit perfectly, plus the team included some ring cleaner and had my ring so beautifully boxed I joked with my husband that he should propose again! I had a severe wrist injury about one year ago and the surgeon had to cut my wedding ring off my swollen finger. They tried to be careful but the ring was still badly damaged. We brought the ring to Wedding Day Diamonds in Maplewood to have it repaired. Honestly, I was expecting to pay thousands because I thought a few of the stones had to be replaced, the bands were cracked and in poor condition and the whole ring had to be resized. But the repair was expertly done, took less than two weeks to complete, and cost less than I was expecting. They did a fantastic job, and I am just thrilled with how beautiful it looks!

My mom needed her prongs repaired on her invisible setting on her ring. No other jeweler were willing to work on it due to the ring’s unique setting. She brought it in to Wedding Day Diamonds in Maplewood. Bob, the gold smith, said he would give it a try. Bob had it done in one day and he did an outstanding job. The ring looks better than new. Had a great experience with both the Roseville and Maplewood (Minnesota) locations. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and felt zero pressure at any time. The service isnt the only great thing about them. Their products and prices and the bang-for-your-buck factor is off the charts. We went to Jared to compare and got the exact opposite experience. I would pretty much never give a 5 star review of anything unless it really is the full package and Wedding Day Diamonds is it.

Ive been in the Wedding Day Diamond store in Maplewood a few times in the past. Unfortunately, they chose not to work with me. When I requested to look at a diamond at that point they indulged me; things changed quite quickly when I pulled out my own jewelers loupe. I was talked down to and in a very curt manner. Heaven forbid a potential customer that does know quite a bit about diamonds walk in and waste their time. I waited a year and returned trying again to find the diamond that I wanted and not the one they were trying to sell me. I understand sales people work on commission and I accept that, I just choose to be treated with a modicum of respect. I refuse to return to any of these stores. I have found that Im better off working with a gemologist in their own small establishment, granted they dont have a plethora of diamonds at their site but they can order some for me to look at in a couple days. That is the person I buy my diamonds, colored gemstones and setting through. Have a great day.

The staff at Wedding Day Diamonds in Maplewood are fantastic. They are all very knowledgeable and patient. I must have tried on half of the rings in that store and everyone always had a smile on their face. They did a really good job of explaining everything about what makes a diamond really sparkle and what the different color grades mean in a way that someone who just wanted something big and sparkly. They are a fantastic group and I would (and have) recommend them to anyone looking for a special piece of jewelry. They are also very good at working with whatever budget you have. My husband and I were on a tight budget and they were able to find several lovely options for us to look at.They also have a couple of lines of more affordable fashion jewelry now. I love to go in to look at what theyve gotten in recently and try a few things on. Its not just for your wedding set anymore! Which is very exciting for someone who really loves jewelry, but cannot always afford diamonds and gold. If youre on the fence, go in and check them out. You will not regret it!

At first I was hesitant, going into a store that I didn’t think I could afford to buy from, and given all that I had been through prior....I had been to so many other places only to be treated kind of crappy, ignored or they tried to sell me over-priced garbage (because they didn’t know I am a super nerd and know a ton about gemology, and am also well educated)I get that kind of service a lot for one reason only unfortunately, because I am heavily tattooed... other stores (not Just jewelry stores) tend to surpass me, and seem to gravitate to “where they think there is money”. I not only have social anxiety, but I am also on a tight budget. Kristin was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I was saying, made me feel very comfortable and literally made me feel like I was at home. That is not a common thing for me. I can not say thank you enough to the staff, (especially Kristin) for being so wonderful and helpful! I would highly recommend this store and any staff person to help you! I know all too often I’m advertising it is just a lot of “inflated garbage” to try to get you in their store. This isn’t the case here!! They stand behind what you hear as it shows that excellence in customer communication is their priority. I could literally go on forever about this place!!! They are truly “diamonds in the rough” and set an incredibly high precedent for the jewelry industry! Thank you thank you thank you I love my newest addition to my collection SO MUCH!! Came in not knowing anything about wedding rings and Riley explained everything in such good, yet simple detail that I could understand not knowing much. I cant believe how terrible my service was today. I shouldnt even use the word service as the woman had no desire to do anything. I went in to have three rings sized, which had been purchased at this store, and look at some new jewelry. I was told it would be about a $100 a ring to rezise and she didnt have any interest in showing me anything. I asked to have my rings and a pair of earrings cleaned, but she couldnt be bothered. They apparently have no interest in any kind of customer service.

This location is the best! Every time I stop in here the whole staff is so nice and helpful. Last time I was there I worked with Sean and Riley and they were great. I was able to get my ring deep cleaned right on sight by the jeweler (which was free of charge since their warranty covers everything for life!!) and I was able to have a glass of wine while I shopped for a wedding band for my fiancé, so cool! I recently received the most beautiful, perfect engagement ring from this store! My fiance worked with Kristine Vail, who was absolutely fantastic! I purchased diamond earrings for my girlfriend from a salesmen by the name of Brian Chapman from the Maplewood Wedding Day Diamonds. He made the purchasing process easy and explained exactly what to look for in a diamond. He definitely knew what he was talking about in regards to diamonds (a true professional). He made sure that I got exactly what I was looking for in regards to price, quality and size. I wish I had found this place (specifically the salesman) years ago and saved the headaches from other jewelry stores.

My wife and I came into this store about 8 months ago to look at engagement rings. We were met with a warm smile and fantastic customer service by Kim Pike. I have been to many different jewelry stores in the past and actually bought a ring from another store. After having the ring for a couple months we had a diamond fall out and they did not want to fix the problem and wanted nothing to do with the ring. We finally got the ring returned and went to Wedding day before we even got our refund. Wedding day has a fantastic warranty for life and are never scared to look it over to make sure everything is tight and clean while you are in the area. We only went to look and Kims great attitude and helpfulness with my wife wanting to look and try on EVERY ring that was in our budget(which she respected the whole time). We did find a lot of great rings and was hard to narrow it down, but ended up buying a ring that we felt was perfect after maybe 2-3 hours of taking up her time, and never once felt rushed or forced to purchase anything. If you need a ring, necklace, earrings, or anything for anyone special you need to check out Wedding Day Diamonds by the Maplewood mall and ask for Kim. Everything in this store is made custom for the purchasing party and not just given a ring that is made in a mass production factory with a diamond that you may not want in it. EVERY SINGLE STAFF member at wedding diamonds were so patient, nice, calm, and understanding with my questions and lack of knowledge. Sure I paid more than I would at other stores but the customer service here is 100% worth it. I will pay for education and knowledge! Looking to replace a loose clasp on a 18 14K gold chain. Store clerk was kind enough to look up the chain and determine it was actually cheaper to replace the entire chain at the time of $180.00. Nice to see she had my best interest/value in mind rather than merely charging me the exact amount in repairs to a chain I recieved approx. 15 years ago.

We walked in and felt as though we were in the way. As we were looking for our wedding bands, we each found a few that we liked, and as soon as we said we liked them our sales person was ready to box up and sell. Im not buying a pair of shoes, this is not an I like this, ready to buy in 3 minutes I felt no connection to the sales person, but rather felt like an annoyance.

Horrible company to go through. Dont get your ring here or your finances ring here. All I wanted was a 4-prong oval and they have been running me through the ringer trying to fix their mistakes. They set my Fiancé up with a 6-prong oval which I said I did not want. He saw a 4 prong that they showed him and that is not what he got. They showed up with a 6 prong. They lied and now we are trying to fix the ring and cant because we cant get answers. Its all about insurance for them. Not what the future bride wants. What a joke.

When my boyfriend and I decided to go look at rings we figured it would be a long and stressful experience. Lucky for us, our first stop was Wedding Day Diamonds in Maplewood where we worked with Lindsey Schuler who made our experience wonderful. She helped us find exactly the perfect ring and diamond within our budget with no pressure. She was very quick to pick up on my taste in jewelry and had a very good eye to find the designs I would like most. The best aspects of Wedding Day Diamonds were Lindseys expert help, the fantastic (maintenance free) warranty, and the fact that we got to pick our diamond out through side-by-side comparisons, so we could choose what we thought were the most important qualities while staying within our budget. We will definitely be going back for the wedding bands!

I went to wedding day half way through a custom design at jared. Jared was legitimately ruining everything. I asked my husband to go to wedding day initially but he ended up choosing jared. He found a ring and told them what i wanted. This was supposed to be a suprise for our 5 year anniversary. They screwed up the ring 3 times before he finally spoiled the suprise and asked me to step in. When i stepped in they didnt listen to me AT ALL. The first time i stepped in their store i was there for FOUR HOURS. After deciding that the only option was a custom i was told that it would be 10 days for a rendering. One month later that rendering appreared...and it was literally everything that was wrong with the instore rings. I was livid. It not only took forever, they still did not listen! Than they pushed through a fast rendering. Still wrong. I finally went across the street to wedding day. Best decision i EVER MADE. Store manager Sean Brown was beyond AMAZING. Day one, i was there for a total of a half an hour. Sean listened to my frustrations and said hey ill just see if i can get a rendering for you done by us, no obligation. 3 days later my first rendering was in and it was almost near perfect. At that point i had essentially parted ways with jared and decided to trust my ring to wedding day. By the 2nd rendering (less than 2 weeks time; jared was 2 months and still no ring) i was completely happy with the design. My ring was finally being made! It took about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks and when it showed up it was literally perfect! The size was off barely so i wore it for a few days and had it resized which was also fast. Sean again was amazing with all my questions, he was completely honest about their policies, there was no hidden fees, no fine print we missed. Everything was as we were told and i couldnt be happier with the service and my ring. I would beyond recomend them if you want excellent service and to get what your paying for, go to wedding day!!

I took my 14k gold snake chains necklace in to see what price they could offer me. I bought it for over $500 the lady offer me $51. I reject the offer and she put my neckalace back in my box. I left the store, got in my car I took a look at me chain and it was broken 2 inch from the the clip. It piss me so much because when I took it in, I open the box before I gave it to her and it was in good condition. Now I have a broken nacklace that I cant even wear it any more. I should never have gone to that place in the first place.
