Looks nice on the outside but not when you go to the back parking area behind the townhouses. It’s a shame that people have to walk by this every single day. Especially after reaching out to management a few times about the conditions. & still there’s trash everywhere. And it smells. The trash on the grass area has been going on for weeks and stays there even when the main dumpster are dumped this trash on the grass will stay for weeks. There’s flies due to the heat as well. You would think with the amount of rent you pay and moving to Maplewood it’d be a better experience. Oh and the trash pile and fridge are pretty close to some of the town houses & has been for over a week. Really disappointed in the charge of conditions of this complex. My 9 year old niece came to visit and made a comment about all the trash everywhere & the smell. It’s embarrassing. It’s a shame that some of the residents keep throwing out trash anywhere. And also the property staff just leave it there

The “Gardens at Maplewood” prior was VERY Professional. The new “Eagle Rock” management doesn’t show PROFESSIONALISM. The work being done is HALF WORK. The grass is not professional cut, and the leave it on the side walk, maintenance fix half of the broken tile and didn’t finish, Garbage is left on the property and not the dumpster, management doesn’t reply to your emails in a TIMELY fashion. THEY DON’T WANT TO SPEND OR FIX ANYTHING PROPERLY, and BLAME TENANTS. Base on the up keeping of the grass, garbage, and maintenance work and office Professionalism is NOT EVIDENT. People pay a lot of money to live here and you should be made comfortable and express professionalism. Eagle Rock is collecting rent money, and doesn’t show professionalism especially paying $2150 a month!

I am disappointed in the professionalism of this company I was charged two application fees for one application. Eagle rock apartments charged my credit card twice and refuse to refund me the duplicate charge. This is call stealing!!!!! I will pursue this refund which is due to me with everything I got. Stealing is against the law. If you apply for an apt at Eagle Rock apt in Maplewood NJ be aware they have duplicate billing. Even when you show an electronic receipt they don’t care. I have to be at an inconvenience because there system is screwed up!!!!! It’s a shame. Scam artist!!!

Looking for a new place to live can be a stressful time, especially for those who have never done so before, which was my case. It was my first time searching for my own apartment, but Kanika Williams made it as easy as pie. My first visit at Maplewood Gardens was amazing! All I could think about was how peaceful and quiet it looked. And after viewing the apartment and seeing the amenities, I was sold! Ms. Williams made me feel like I was entering my home, a place I could call home for years and eventually raise my future family. Its now been 4 months, and I love it here!

Great service and professional environment. Overall a great place, especially Yulissa who was of great assistance. Her energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge made my decision much easier! So excited to move into my new home. My husband and I were very pleased with the help we received from Lily. In fact by writing this review our application fee was waved which helped a great deal. Thank you to the gardens at Maplewood and lily.

Great place to live if you like mice and maintenance issues without any repair. My boyfriend and I were so excited to live here, and within our first TWO WEEKS of moving in, we had five mice that we know of running through our apartment. One in our bedroom that was caught in a glue trap and suffering horribly. The rest in the kitchen where one actually hit my foot while cooking at the stove 🤢 We sweep, vacuum, AND swiffer and we leave no food out whatsoever. Obviously in the winter sometimes mice come in, but there was obviously an issue that The Gardens at Maplewood didn’t check for beforehand - especially with there being 5 mice in just 2 weeks. We contacted our leasing director and our leasing consultant expressing our concerns and never heard ANYTHING back from them. Some acknowledgement of our constant paranoia and disgust while walking through our apartment would’ve been great. We love it here and wanted to stay, but just wanted to know how we could avoid mice with an exterminator that only comes on Tuesdays and a “rodent treatment” that only led to more mice. Communication can make or break where you rent so please take this into consideration before looking here. Or at least ask for a full inspection of your unit! Including a horrible picture of a mouse (looks like a rat??) that the exterminator’s trap caught TWO DAYS after the exterminator came. Sad to hurt any animal, but maybe this was the best way the exterminator could take care of it only being here once a week??

Rose was so friendly and very helpful and made us feel so comfortable! The apartments are nice and spacious as well. So happy we found them!

My daughter is a full time student in the area and found this great place to live as her first off campus housing. I have been happy with their services so far and am excited for her to move in!

Experience was very good. Nicely renovated and well maintained with no problems at all. Nice and peaceful locality with close proximity to rt. 22 & parkway.

Maplewood is Beautiful! The Township is safe and a little charm ! The townhomes are a “hidden gem”. Family and Friends Loveeeeeee our home! Heat and Hot water, sewer, trash, and 2 parking space is included! Excellent Package Deal!

My roommate and I have recently been looking for a place to live close to school and work. We came across the community of Maplewood and fell in love. The Gardens at Maplewood is sited in a prime location. The application process has been a breeze, the office staff has been able to answer all our questions and concerns. We cant wait to move into our new place.

After seeing Mill Run at Union, we asked to Rose (who is incredible!!) to show us the Gardens at Maplewood as well. We were blown away by not only the customer service on tour, but also the well maintained grounds, quiet cul de sac, the townhouse-esque set up, and of course, the quality of the apartment. All of the amenities that we needed (hardwood floors, updated appliances, HUGE kitchen)- and more that we didnt know we could have (washer and dryer in unit!)! Rose and her team were super patient with us, have answered every question we have, and have GREAT move in specials! We are super excited to move in in just a couple of weeks.

My experience with touring the apartment complex was amazing. I cannot wait to move in my new place.
