Brought my truck in for rear brakes after another big tire chain told me I needed them. They took a look called me and said they were fine. This shop could have sold me new brakes and I would have never known the difference. This was my first time to Rock Creek. They just got a customer for life!

I have been bringing our vehicles here for years. They do good work, have been very honest in telling me what didnt need doing (that I thought might), work quickly, easy to get my car in. Staff is pleasant and efficient. I much prefer them over the chain-store oil change outfits.

Excellent service

Asked for a full brake job, they test drive and measured the temp of the brakes and determined I only needed an adjustment on the rear (saving me money). I had purchased new rotors to install myself, and they determined the parts store sold me the wrong ones! Did a great job straightening it all out. Very honest quality auto repair shop, not just for oil changes.

Quick, honest service without any BS

They are the best! Completely honest, inexpensive auto repair. I had my clutch changed there and they ran into all kinds of problems and even though they had to spend 3 times the man hours replace it, they charged me the price they bid which was in the medium range of what the internet said it should cost me. Months later, my truck broke down. They had it towed in and it turned out to be a cheap plastic clip that the manufacturer used in the clutch linkage. They paid for the tow and fixed it under warranty. When it broke again I was able the jury rig it and drove it in. They took several hours and drilled a hole through the shaft (not and easy feat) and put a spring clip through the shaft. Its not a cheap plastic clip that will break again! And there was no charge. When I needed a brake job they did it for half the price I was quoted by Les Schwab!I will never take my vehicles anywhere else!!!

Nice place took a bit longer than expected. Would use again and recommend. They charged me a third of what another company was going to charge me for a brake job. They gave a coupon discount even though I didnt have one. Lady on desk friendly. They charge about 35 percent less for oil changes compared to jiffy. They did accidently keep one set of my new brake pads that they didnt use but Im sure they just forgot about that I forgot to check it when I left

Excellent professional, friendly service. They checked my electrical system, replaced the battery, checked the rest of my fluids and belts, and got me safely started on a road trip from WA to CA. Im indebted to their service.

I went here about a week ago with a list of things I wanted them to do. I wanted them to change the oil, buy the oil, buy and replace my air filter, check the air in my tires, buy and replace my window wipers and some other things. I was blown away when I saw the bill was less than a simple oil change from Jiffy Lube. Never go to Jiffy Lube, theyll rip you off really bad while the people at Rock Creek Lube Center will take great care of your vehicle (Theyll do it in a fraction of the time and with better customer service too).

Very clean place, normally I change my own oil but this time I needed a service to do it for me, I showed up and within 10 mins it was done and I was out of there. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable as well. I would certainly go back if needed! Great place fair prices too!

They take care of customers like they are family. When I had to jump start our dead battery, they checked the charging system but had to recharge the battery to do so. The system was okay, but no invoice for the service.

We have taken both of our vehicles to get our oil changed and both have been the fastest I have ever experienced. I did not even finish the childs book I was reading to my son before they came back and said they were done! On top of this, they have been very friendly both times. We will definitely return.

Im afraid this may be a little unfair, the work was done about 10 yrs ago. They did my 90,000 mile service which includes timing belt replacement. To make a long story short, I ended up paying Japanese Auto $1,500 to re-do EVERYTHING Rock Creek had done. Its a long story and was a horrible experience at Rock Creek Lube Center.

I was greeted at my car by a techician and informed that there was seating inside the office waiting room. These guys rotated my tires, changed the oil, cleaned my windows, vacuumed the car and checked my tire pressure in 17 minutes. Now, they werent very busy, so you cant expect that type of service ALL the time; but you sure can expect to see them moving quickly, and also to be honest with you about any concerns you have with your vehicle. I overheard another customer thanking them for helping him fix something instead of replacing it. They have a lot of return customers for obvious reasons.

Best place in the area to get an oil change. Plus they dont hassle you with add-on items that you dont really need. Recommend any vehicle maintenance to come here.

These guys are great! I was in line for a hair cut across the street and they gave me a 35 minute wait. I called Rock Creek Lube to see if they could get me done before my name came up and they did. I forgot my coupon at home and asked them about it and they honored it. Ive been coming here for a couple years and theyve proven their service every time! Thanks, guys!

They adequate work but sometimes they charge too much for services that can be for less elsewhere. They have quick turn around though.

The people at rock creek lube are nice, and offered me the coupon before I asked for it, but beyond that I cannot recommend. A while back I took my Subaru in for an oil change and brake service. They called me to tell me they couldnt get the car alarm to turn off- all they had to do was insert the key to turn it off. Finally when my car was done, it developed a loud rattle from the catalytic converter that wasnt there before. After I complained they agreed to fix it, and they did which was nice but the check engine line went on after a few weeks and the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. We hadnt had any issues prior to their service.About a year went by, and I needed a quick oil change. I know this place is super quick and I was short on time, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking that maybe the catalytic converter was just a bad coincidence last time. And how hard could an oil change be anyway?Big mistake. I drove away thinking all was well, but after my hubby drove it to work a few times he noticed the car was smelling like burnt oil. It was also starting to leak oil. He checked the level and realized the car was WAY overfilled and the shop didnt use a funnel and spilt oil all over the place. He brought it in and they drained some oil and replaced what they said was a faulty drain plug (we had no issues prior to their service). Days later, the car has been driven quite a bit but reeks of burnt oil and Im worried about the damage the overfill might have caused.Overall, the guys are nice but not qualified to work on cars given they cant complete a brake job and simple oil change. We wont be going back.

Good customer service, offered coupon before asking. Good price. I asked them to leave half a quart out so I could put my oil additive in and they said they would put it in for me and did not do it, no big deal. It only took about 20 minutes. It looks like it was filled up the full 5 quarts+ (I wanted 4.5), and the oil cap was just placed on and turned once halfway crooked. Kind of sloppy but the price was right and it was the end of the day so I would probably go again.4 years later: Never went back. Sure I paid an extremely low price but that shouldnt have meant less service, it was their coupon after all. And not putting the cap on right or filling half quart short like I asked isnt expected regardless of price.

My van had a real bad oil leak I couldnt figure out. They told me they could look at it on Tuesday morning, so I dropped it off Monday. By Monday evening they not only analyzed the problem, but fixed it too. Ahead of schedule and under budget. 5 stars.

The only place I go for oil changes anymore. They allow you to bring your own oil and filter, if you are particular about what you put in your vehicle.They usually have me in and out in about 20 minutes.

It would be hard for me to recommend this place to anyone.We have a Chrysler Seabring that was overheating, we took it there 3 times to get it repaired.A couple months later, we are having to replace the work they did.We paid over $600 to get it fixed, and today we are paying 300 more over at Titus Will in Tacoma.I wouldnt go back to this place, unfriendly service, high prices, and faulty work.DO NOT use this place, save yourself the hassle and money!

Im able to show up and get an oil change without an appt. For other things they recommend an appt because of the time involved. They have always provided good service.
