I see two doctors at this Allina location. Have been very pleased with the care I have received. All if my doctors are under the Allina Health umbrella. I have never had a negative experience with any if them. All are very caring.
I have been seeing Dr Kelkar at Allina Health in Maple Grove for several years for my allergies and asthma. The staff is always very pleasant and the facility is nice. They have handled the additional covid restrictions well. Dr Kelkar is concerned about how well my asthma is being managed and I am always able to get an appointment within a few days if I am not feeling well. Great doctor, staff, and facility. I would definitely recommend.
Dr. Marie Peterson & her team were fantastic! I could not have asked for better service. I was actually blown away by the kindness of her & her team! Thanks so much for taking very good care of me, its very hard to find and I wont ever forget it!
Used drive up Covid testing today. The process was so simple and efficient. The young lady that helped me was so sweet and explained every step. Her positive energy and kind banter really helped ease my nerves. Thank you for making it a smooth easy test.
Excellent Nurses!!! So kind, compassionate, professional and great sense of humor. Everything that is so needed right now Thank you for all you do! You do it with such beautiful grace. 🙏
I was told that my prescription would be refilled to a new location closer to where i was moving (out of state) only to find when i actually ran out that my doctor had denied my request to refill and would only do so if i came in to see her again when i had already moved. no one helped me figure it out or seemed to care that i was gonna have to cold turkey quit my meds since i was suddenly being denied the refill AFTER i moved out of state. this is all in the middle of the pandemic and i was never even offered a virtual visit and was explicitly told i had to physically come in. don’t know why i even stayed with them or that doctor so long but i could not recommend this place less! i’ve been going through withdrawal for months and i can’t imagine this is gonna be good for me in the long run.
Not only at my 1st appointment, but at my 2nd appointment as well, doctors were short, had difficulty listening, interrupted me, and talked over me without courtesy nor apology. They focused on issues that I did not come in for. After my two appointments, I have a general sense that Allina Health Clinics are an assembly line that doesnt pay attention to patients, and just wants to get through people as fast as possible without regard for common decency.
Dr. Marie Elizabeth Peterson was missing in action. She evidently decided to take a long weekend and wasnt there for my appointment. They claimed they tried to contact me several times, weeks in advance, to reschedule but I never got any messages. They even sent an appointment reminder via email just three days before confirming the appointment. So there I am, having taken half a days vacation from work, and no doctor. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. No thanks. I guess my time means nothing. I wont be back to see her. Shes probably to big and important to be able squeeze me in anyway.
Absolutely would not recommend going here. I called to make an appointment due to thinking I had a standard health issue. I called and they told me to go to the ER or that I had to wait a week. I told them I would wait a week and just schedule my annual as I needed it anyways. Upon arriving I was told I was going straight to labs. When I asked what I was doing labs for, I was told to provide the sample as my doctor had requested it. I told them I was uncomfortable as I had not seen a doctor and didnt know what they were having me so the labs. The person explained that they would let my doctor know and to just provide the sample. At that point I gave up. When they brought me to the room, I told them I didnt want any tests run as I dealt with my issues prior and was just there for my annual. Upon this they told me it was now standard procedure to do tests prior to meeting with a doctor. Call me crazy but why would you test someone for anything and everything without meeting with a qualified person to determine what the symptoms mean? They ran the tests anyways and sent me a bill for them. After my annual they they sent me back to labs to do more. At this point I felt like they were doing whatever they could to make money and were willing to sacrifice patient care to make a dollar no matter how uncomfortable they made the patient. Will not be going back.
I believe I been overcharged. Simple Physical examination cost me $911.00. Dr. Brock McIntyre certainly did everything possible to make this money in 30 minutes. If you have extra money you can donate or just go to this clinic. This is your choice.
I have not read any previous reviews. With that being said, I have been going to Allina Health Maple Grove for over a year. I have seen two Drs in this time. Both Drs, a Dr Kuku and a Dr Marshall were both outstanding with the care of my children. They both went above and beyond with all my checkups. All their nurses were friendly and caring. All my concerns were heard without any doubt or disbelief. I will continue to go to this clinic and trust them with the care of my children.
Horrible horrible experience. Theyre extremely unreliable and lack doctors. If youre pregnant and care to be seen at this location dont waste your time because they only have one doctor and they dont follow times you need to be seen. Im 22 weeks pregnant and they skipped my 16 week apt and I was so eager to finally get seen when I get a call saying doc wont be in! So trust me youre better off going elsewhere where you can get seen at your convenience and not the doctors.
I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been coming here for myself and my kids for 6 years now. My kids see Dr. Marshall and he has been an amazing provider. We’ve also seen Dr Kuku when our Ped was unavailable and really liked her as well. I’ve seen the eye doctor and a few of the other doctors here and they’ve all been great. You really can’t go wrong here.
My doctor and daughters doctor is everything look for. Their nurses as well, give you a reason to come back each and every time. They listen, show concern, their knowledge, etc.
If 0 stars were possible Id definitely be giving that. HORRIBLE experience today. Literally wasted my entire day, the own doctor, Julie Carlson, didnt have the nerve let alone time to come in and see my daughter and give her opinion. I get you didnt want to treat her but the least you could of done was take a look and THEN give your recommendation!
We have been going to this clinic for about 10 years (when it was in the old location) and have always been happy with the care. Dr. Marshall is an outstanding pediatrician, and my kids really like him, too.
If I could give half a star I would. So far I have had one doctor at this clinic tell me I look like I have anorexia or a drig problem because I am on the thin side. When i asked her to look at my chart my weight had not fluctuated by more than 9lbs in two years. My last two appointments started over an hour late and when I asked the very sympathetic and kind nurse why the response was “well she normally runs this late.” I could tell she felt bad about it. I question the integrity of every doctor at this clinic.
Dr Bader, is good in diagnosing the issue, but I ended up with lot of billing issues.I scheduled and visited the hospital for Annual eye checkup. Before going to the hospital I ensured with my insurance company, and as they mentioned it will cover. But due to some issues over the hospital they send bill with Medical instead of preventive to my insurance provider, which is causing me to pay my entire bill. When I called the billing department initially they mentioned sorry to hear that, we will reduce your bill, that is the max we can do. And then they reduced 27dollars but later they sent again a bill with that 27 dollars. Because of all their mistakes I ended up paying all my bills which it supposed to cover from my insurance.
Friendly staff and quick to get into your appointment. Clean waiting room.
Im used to small town personal one-on-one clinic and have to say I was very impressed with the way I was treated and how quick they took care of me. Very happy overall with my experience with them so far.
Dr.Spector did a very good job. Referred me to where I needed to go, listened to my concerns and went above and beyond. EXCELLENT JOB!
Rebecca was awesome thank you for the great service!
My son came home sick from school and they got me in the same day without an appointment. Plus, all the Doctors our family has seen have been great!!
Cinic is decent. Nurse and staff helpful.Doctor delay in diagnosing and giving call back to discuss health condition. They post lab results on mychart i.e., their online system. What would be nice to have a Doctor diagnose correctly and if things cannot be done at this clinic refer to specialist in time.Online information is good but its always better to talk to Doctor to understand what results mean and what needs to be done and not have to wait endlessly for receigin the call. You cannot connect with Doctor directly can be understood but inspite of calling the office and not receiving call back in not appreciated.Only little change is needed..and I think is easy to do...
Im always treated well here!
Great staff. They go the extra mile to help you !
Got in quick but trying to get the results of the MRI which i was told they had on Tuesday and its now Monday is beyond ridiculous. Plus no return phone calls.
Friendly staff and good experience! Would recommend.
I made this appointment 6 weeks ago. They were so late I had to cancel the appointment. Awful experience all around...
Good overall experience.
Friendly staff, but expect to sit in the waiting area if you show up early (or even on time!)
