Micropigmentation Consult: Im so impressed with the results of the consult that I opted no to wipe em off. I cant wait for the permanent procedure! A fresh take on a barber shop without the chain influence. Operated by a young group of stylists, they definitely have put a lot of thought into their business and it shows, with a clean inviting layout, friendly professional staff and an attention to detail. The hours are also a plus, as they can provide an alternative for an 8-5 worker a place to get a haircut relatively easy on a weekday evening. In terms of specifics Mike gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever had (Top 3), with the key being it was a nice spin / new look for me that lasted nearly 2 months without any fuss or me having to worry about loose hairs etc.The only con I can give is that I did learn that I should stick with a stylist who best gets my hair, at least for now. I dont want to necessarily characterize my last experience as different stylists not having the same experience levels. Mostly as I dont have enough information to make that kind of claim and it might just not have been their best day or time, but I can say Ive learned from both here and other salons / shops if a stylist at all ever seems nervous and makes a lot of comments about my hair being scary to them, that its probably best to just ask for someone else and save them the trouble (and me 1.5-2 hours of my life as they methodically struggle with it).The good news is that when I called them back to return 2 days later to have some corrections made the response to critique was not poorly received, so dont be afraid to be speak up (albeit always remember to be respectful).

If there was a rating better than excellent I’d give it to him.

I had my brows microbladed by Shalyn at Rectify. I was very nervous about having them done but after seeing the reviews from Prettyology on Newbury St I felt a little more confident about making an appointment with ShalynI needn’t have worried. I love my brows and now my morning are so much easier. I no longer have to fill in my brows and try to even them out. Shalyn has given me natural looking beautifully shaped symmetrical brows that flatter my features and are the perfect color.The process does takes 2 appointments and about 10-12 weeks to get the final results so be patient and have faith in Shalyn’s ability and experience. She is purposely conservative the first time so at she can fix anything you are not completely satisfied with at the second appointmentShalyn is a true artist and very professional She will give you the brows you want while putting you at ease with her knowledge and patienceThank you Shalyn
