After 6mo of having insurance through them and no tickets in that time this company decided my 30yr old vehicle should cost the same insurance rate as a brand new car. Do not use this company. Literally overnight they jacked my insurance cost from under 120 to over 300. For Literally no reason. And I dare them to debate why they supposedly did that to an emerald member. So after yrs of being with this company this rate jack should be illegal and not to mention this is how they treat loyal customers. Never suggesting this insurance to anyone I know. I will in fact suggest any company but this one just cause the price hike out of nowhere.
I am highly disappointed with progressive. I tried talking with them about lowering my insurance because it has become high every year just about. They quoted me 2 cars for $252.52 after I have been with them for 10 years. I decided to go to this company called the zebra and just through progress with the zebra for both my vehicles they got me to $179.00 but now Im not emerald anymore. They knocked me down to platinum status. Times have been hard and I feel like every year rates keep going up and its just not fair. Especially with this pandemic still amongst us.
Jeffrey Sun is HORRIBLY rude! I was unable to reach my adjuster and called for help filling out a form I needed to overnight today. The FIRST call he asked me a few questions and I told him my policy wasnt set up with a local agent. He said he would need to transfer me me to the call center, then mid sentence transferred me. I attempted to explain I had already talked to the call center and was told they were unable to help. I thought maybe it was by accident that he transferred me in the middle of me asking for clarification - maybe he didnt hear me speaking before he hit the transfer button?? (thats happened to me before). I called back a 3 more times hoping to get through to him again and thinking maybe its because they were on another line I went directly to the call center twice. Then on the 3rd call something strange happened... I received a phone call from MYSELF (I still didnt put 2 and 2 together that this guy literally transferred me to my own number rather than allow me to clarify what exactly what/why I was asking for help - I try to think the best of people)... THEN I tried to call the number back once more and it wasnt until he answered and said ... not Hello or Thank you for calling... by he picked up and said right off Maam I am going to transfer you to the call center I cant help you. This is the FIFTH time I have told you I dont have access to your policy (although I only talked to him once before and he transferred me in the middle of my sentence so he hadnt actually explained to me anything - and I knew I hadnt talked to him other than the ONE time before. I was confused and, Yes, still a little naive to think there must have been a misunderstanding of some kind). So I attempted to clarify and said, Yes I understood he didnt have access to my policy but I just needed help filling out a TX form that all progressive agents/adjusters in TX would use. I wasnt calling for anything specific to my policy and asked if he could possibly help at all since I dont have a local agent. While I was asking for help a SECOND time and hoping my clarifying I didnt need policy specific help might change his response, it occurred to me in that moment that my being auto-directed to the call center AND the strange phone call to myself was all this guy intentionally transferring me! I heard him breathe hard annoyingly while I was speaking, so I then asked would he be able to give me his name- sensing this was not going well. He told me his name and said he was going to transfer me again to the call center so they would help me, and then in an extremely condescending tone concluded with is that fair?. Again, I found myself confused - was I being unfair or did I make him feel somehow that he was? I started to apologize for calling and explain that I wasnt able to get help from the call center which is why I tried to reach out to someone local, but wouldnt you know.... I was only able to get out I ap... before he transferred me AGAIN. Im not sure what about me offended Jeffery so much. Pehaps the fact that him helping me or having a 2 minute conversation with me to explain why he couldnt help wouldnt have benefited him in any obvious way was the reason he felt it necessary to be dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I deal with difficult people every day, I know I was not in any way rude, aggressive, or even upset. I was literally desperate to get some help. Therr was literally no reason for this exchange to have ended up going this way. I admit I am still a little in shock. Anyone that would treat people that way for ANY reason I, personally, make it a point to steer clear of because I dont trust they would ever have my best interest at heart. I was actually looking to connect with a local agent to help make this process smoother in the future... guess who I will ABSOLUTELY NOT be reaching out to????I never leave reviews, but appreciate when others do and share their experiences. Seriously folks, 1 star is too many.

Impressive!!! Give him a call! Ive been with Liberty Mutual, State Farm, and Nationwide for the last 12 years and we get the same old story....our rate has almost doubled once the youngest one turns 16. I am glad I chose this local office because Jeff Sun took his time to explain coverage and save my family $109 per month on car insurance and lowered my mortgage payment by $35 per month. I had considered switching to Progressive, and had gotten a quote from Jeff Sun a week and a half ago. He called me back to follow up with me and see if I had decided to switch, and I kindly told him that my insurance company lowered my rate enough that I decided to stay with them rather than switching. He then insulted me, told me I wasnt a man, and then hung up on me before I could even say anything. Customer service from Jeff is only good if you make the switch. Hes rude as can be if you dont switch. Only a child throws a fit if they dont get their way. I will never do business with this location, and I will advise others to do the same until such time as I receive an apology for the rude way i was treated.
First off I am a progressive customer. I called this number to get in touch with them since my agent was not responding (you have progressive in the name and the face of that disturbing lady). It said press 1 to talk to them about existing insurance, so I did. Instead of that I directed to some other agency trying to get me a quote for new insurance so I hung up. Then you guys called me back like 3 times AND texted me trying to sell me insurance that I never asked for. Maybe you should fix your garbage phone system or maybe you are misleading people intentionally to nab phone numbers?
