Were on a roadtrip with almost 2000 miles left to go and started having electrical problems. Fortunately we stopped in Mankato and found Lagers on google. We drove up and explained our situation to Chad (so helpful and kind) . He talked with their technician, Greg, and they squeezed us in though they were already very busy. Thankfully they were able to diagnose and fix the problem and we are on the road again. Everyone at Lagers was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Chad and Greg for going above and beyond.

Would have received five stars if not for price gouging. First wanted additional $20 to cut key thats in the fob that I was having programmed. Then charged 10% misc. fee with no explaintion, didnt catch it while there because conditioned for little higher charge due to the sales tax.

The sales manager Dale, salesman Dan and finance manager Maya at Lagers of Mankato were wonderful to deal with! From arranging to look at the vehicle to sealing the deal the entire process was smooth and stress free. I highly recommend Lagers and can claim the drive to Mankato from the cities is well worth it! We had looked at similar vehicles closer to home but found the staff at Lagers much easier to deal with and more friendly, too.

I took my 2019 ram in for a oil Change and tire rotation. Also had it scheduled for a detail. When I picked up my truck later in the day they explained to me they couldnt finish the exterior of my truck because the machine they use to buff the outside needed to be cleaned and was just leaving streaks. There was wax streaks left all over. They also did a terrible job on the interior. It looks Iike they spent about 10 minutes on it and called it good enough. Very disappointed!!

I bouight a 2014 Jeep Cherokee from another dealship, and it had some issues, Lagars service department was the best, they quoted me high, (so there was no surprise), and it was about 1/3rd what was expected. I am so happy we took the trip. We drove down to Mankato to look at a van when we got there we were greeted by many friendly faces before being told we had to go down to the other lot. We then were greeted by dale who showed us the van and let us take it for a test drive when we came back he had the numbers printed in black and white for if we wanted to move forward with things, I appreciated that so much as having dealt with the run around at previous dealer ships. We kept the finance and salesman late but they were very nice and friendly especially as I took awhile to empty my old vehicle. I highly recommend Lagers if you are looking to purchase a deal they are nice, friendly and easy to work with very upfront and not pushy!

I am 23 and just purchased my first brand new vehicle here. I knew what I wanted going in which made things super easy and painless. Craig is a very go with the flow kind of man and really made the whole process comfortable. They got me a great deal and he and his team worked hard to find someone that would finance my loan with the young age of my credit history. And I worked with the nicest Gal on the planet earth who went above and beyond. Ashley walked though my loan and contract, taking her time to explain things to me, answered all my questions, and gave me really helpful advice on how I can decrease interest over time and build my credit. I brought my car in to Lagers last week for a check engine light and to repair a broken tail light. When I got my car back, more lights were on on the dashboard than were on originally. My car then would not start the very next day while at work. Im out $500 and Sandy refused to help or put me through to a technician. Ill need to have it towed from St. Peter to Mankato thanks to the wonderful service over at Lagers.

Horrible. Went in there 3 different times to look at two vehicles. All three times the sales people pretended no one was even in the dealership. Granted it was 30 minutes before close, but no greeting or any kind of assistance the first two times. The 3rd time I finally asked if anyone was willing to help me and someone finally popped up. However, during the time he was showing me the vehicle, closing time was coming up and he told me I would have to come back yet again to test drive. Will never purchase the new Durango or Jeep I was trying to get into. Going to the cities.

So I just got a 2015 Jeep Cherokee from Lagers and I couldnt be happier. The service was excellent, clean dealership and a very welcoming environment. Their vehicles are very clean and very well kept. It was a very fun and enjoyable experience. Ive been driving my Jeep for almost a week now and am very satisfied with it. Runs great, very clean even under the hood, absolutely no issues with it. After the bad experiences Ive had with dealerships in the past it was nice to finally sign with a great reliable dealership and have a awesome team to work with.

Had an awesome experience here! My fiancé and I have both bought cars at other dealerships and it has not been personable and has felt very pushy. This was very different. We worked with Cory C. who was absolutely awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable about what we were looking at and was able to answer other questions even when we were back at home and after his work hours. He was also very friendly, fun and just an overall great car salesman. He also sent a very nice message two days after buying our new Jeep that made me very great full for buying with this business. Thank you for everything, Cory! Also- the finance guy at Lagers was very nice to work with and also wasn’t pushy and gave us informed choices and let us decide what we wanted vs trying to talk us into things we didn’t want! We have been searching high and low for a 2nd vehicle and finally found the perfect match at Lagers. We got a used Ford Explorer and Dan was nothing but honest and helpful. I agree with the several other reviews that there was no pressure and it was a super laid back atmosphere with as much or as little help as you wanted. I cant speak to how the vehicle turns out since its only been a day, but Im confident after receiving the Carfax, vehicle inspection, and answering our 20 questions it will be good!

My fiancé and came in just browsing the used lot when a younger salesman came up and started talking to us about the truck I was looking at. It seemed pretty normal at first but then he said “Yeah you gotta have money for something like this” I played it off as though he was joking. He then continued to talk to me for a few more moments before giving me his card and said “let me know if you find something you think you can afford” this is not the first tome these “Salesmen” have almost seemed to try and steer me away from a vehicle without knowing what kind of financial situation I have. I will never buy anything from this dealership

This was the worst experience Ive had yet! We bought a New vehicle with full warranty called to have service and they verified that my vehicle was under warranty and scheduled me for service after trying to score an add on sale, do you need an oil change or new wiper blades while you wait? I told them no. When we brought our Dodge Durango in for service they took both cell phone # to call when complete since we were waiting next door at a restaurant. After an hour there was no call. When we walked back to Lagers they said the invoice was ready. They had charges for a service we were told was warranty. I was livid. The service rep. tells me, were not doing work for free. Im thinking this was a $40 thousand vehicle your work is hardly free, not to mention the work being done I wouldve done myself if Id known it wasnt covered. So much for service after the sale. This is definitely NOT MY DEALERSHIP of choice!!!

I LOVE working with lagers!This was my second experience with them and it was just as great as the first! I would highly recommend going to them! The dealers aren’t the typical pushy type, they don’t try to make you buy. All of their staff will work with you until you find something in your price range and a car you love! AND if you want to walk away, they won’t pressure you to stay! I love the experience I’ve had with them both times! I always do my maintenance here always thought must be reasonably priced. But recently my Bluetooth pairing is not working and just to have it checked whats wrong with a Bluetooth they want me to pay around $200 and then more to fix the problem. Probably if I go with it who knows I might pay around $1,000+ to fix my bluetooth

Purchased a newer vehicle here. Engine light went on during the drive home. Front right tire still doesnt hold air. At first they claimed they dont cover tires... excuse me but what dealership tells their customers that when you drive a vehicle with less than 15k off their lot? The manager got upset after I explained that the tires were checked off as good during their inspection. After that he intentionally was a smart a$$ and said he would get me an appointment there for a flat fix. I agreed to make the trip, but Im over 3 hours away. The night before the appt. I checked the spare tire and it was at only 22psi. I explained to them that I felt unsafe making the trip and they took the stance of, sorry about your luck. No other help was offered. These people have a terrible attitude.

They dont respond to customer service inquiries via their website (by filling out the form online). Then, when I called, the lady ignored my question about the online customer service inquiry, and then didnt offer me any sort of explanation as to why my inquiries had been ignored. I then emailed the address provided on the Contact us page under Tell us how were doing and the address it goes to, is for a firm that no longer works with Lagers. So their website info is also out of date. Really disappointed that I purchased a vehicle here and then the customer service after the fact has been non-existent.

Disappointed that when I came to your dealership the other day with my daughters that the sales person really did not treat us well! I was spoken to like I was someone that did not know anything about cars and not taken very seriously. I do my research and know what I am talking about and looking for so dont dismiss me! My husband joined me later and it was a totally different encounter---hope this was just a fluke and not how your staff treat different customers! We did take our business elsewhere----and found a nice Honda that we decided to purchase elsewhere!

Bought a 30k truck and had warning lights come on within 15 minutes of purchase. Had to come back and get it fixed. They did cover it but it took over 4 hrs and I love an hour away. The service dept was very friendly and good but I feel i should have at least got a free coffee mug for having to waste an entire day. I wouldnt buy another vehicle there but I would use the service dept again.

Easy, long distance, Perfect Transaction !I bought a 2014 Dodge pickup for 25,000 dollars sight unseen from 2000 miles away. The deal went down great, the salesman was nice the truck was exactly as described on internet. The process was easy even though it made me nervous they wouldnt save it for me as the refused any down payment by credit card. But they held the truck waited for me to mail them the check and than, they got the balance from my credit union. The truck has a V6 so 23 miles a gallon, luxury interior, big horn package, 20 wheels from factory with a great color, one owner. Anyway truck was immaculate, nothing like it near me, Lagers made it happen !!!They were very polite & nice. They held to there word and saved the truck and it was immaculate condition better than expected:) thank You Love My Truck !!!

Once retired, I decided to lease my vehicles. Doug, was so helpful and made sure I not only received the vehicle I wanted, he continues to be available to answer any questions I have. The service department is awesome and always there for any support, including answering questions and providing tips. I have been a customer since the mid 80s and will continue to work with Lagers of Mankato. They are my go to vehicle support system.

I needed a couple of keys and a spare remote for my Dodge Ram. Lagers price was cheaper than I was quoted at another dealer in Waconia and it was done in half the time they allotted. Everyone from the Parts department, Service department and even the cashier was very courteous and helpful. I would not hesitate to bring my Ram back there for service in the future. Thanks again!

I am hoping that my experience with Lagers will draw some attention to their lack of integrity and commitment to their customers.I purchased a car this past winter from Lagers, a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. It was the first newish car I have ever owned, so I was pretty excited about it. My father-in-law is a car dealer and purchased the car for me through his dealership, and picked it up from Lagers and drove it to me in the Twin Cities. Lagers did an inspection before the car left their dealership to ensure everything was in working order. The car had around 35K miles or so when I bought it.Fast forward to this summer, I believe it was June or July. I am making a left in downtown Minneapolis on Washington (this is a busy street for those that dont know) when the car completely goes haywire. It wont turn on, nothing is working. I have it towed to the Hopkins Jeep location. Upon inspection, it was discovered that a ground strap (forgive me, I know nothing about cars) was re-installed incorrectly and was rubbing against something else that caused it to completely disintegrate. This caused the car to melt down. The Hopkins dealership said that the strap was reinstalled wrong by Lagers, as they were the only documented dealership to have worked on the transmission, and that I should reach out to them to have them reimburse me for the damage (it was not covered under warranty). So, I paid it and left under the assumption that I would be able to call Lagers and they would understand the situation. I assumed that, since it was another certified Jeep dealership and certified tech saying that another Jeep dealership and tech had made the mistake, Lagers would stand behind their error and reimburse me. I was so wrong! I spoke to Jen, their service manager, who could not have been more difficult to work with. Jen largely called me a liar. She said that I cannot prove they made the mistake and that I may have taken it to a 3rd party dealership who made the mistake. Remember, this car is under warranty, it has been NO WHERE else but Lagers in its history until now. But, since Jen said I cant prove it was them, I was stuck with the $400 bill + towing fees. I moved on.This is where it gets interesting. About two weeks after I got my car fixed the first time for the error made by Lagers techs on my transmission, another one was discovered! Get this, a screw was left in my catalytic converter that melted through the catalytic material and fried my O2 sensors. $1500 worth of work. Cant make this stuff up. Hopkins again discovered this and has pictures and documentation to support this. It doesnt get there by mistake. Any response from Lagers? Of course not! They wont return mine or Hopkins Jeeps calls. Cant make this stuff up. Jeep Corporate offers no help either, and clearly has no interest in holding their dealerships that represent them accountable.Moral of the story; Lagers WILL NOT stand behind their work. If you buy a car from them, get a 2nd opinion on the engine, do a thorough inspection, etc. Faulty work is faulty work, and it is a shame they lack the integrity to do whats right by their customer. Buy at your own risk with this dealership. Secondly, it is no surprise that Jeep/Chrysler have the lowest in JD Power ratings for customer service year over year. Just a really, really, disappointing and costly experience.

I recently bought a 2018 300 S from this place. I paid 24,000 out the door. The vehicle had around 15k on it when I left the lot, within a week I took my car through a touch free wash twice to keep it clean. It revealed so many scratches in the paint that I didnt see while buying my vehicle. I took it back in to see what would be done about it, the first time I was taken over to their detailing place across the street where they tried to use a light foam pad to buff them out. After another wash those came right back and unhidden. All while I was at their detailing center the woman who checked me out after selling me a meguiars scratch x, she had told me they use it on the new vehicles that come in scratched while they get them ready for the showroom floor. On top of it, the bottle they sold me for $13 ended up being open.. So when I noticed the whole back half of the car was scratched to hell I took it back into the sales guy who sold me the vehicle, he claimed he didnt see them but I could go to ford and talk to his connection over there. While at ford, I was told it would cost 500$ per panel to repaint the damaged areas AND on top of it, the FRONT BUMPER on my car wasnt even the right COLOR and lagers didnt know about it. A few days after this when my plates finally came in I called about my passenger mirror not auto diming like my others, I was told Lagers service center was booked out for a couple weeks. All in all I would not buy another vehicle from this dealership, theyre just as bad as Kia. I ended up stopping into Waseca Chrysler the next day and they booked me an appointment for 3 days from when I stopped in. Thats what I call service. Unfortunately there is so much paint damage to this car, that Ive been quoted up to $750 on paint correction services, and at that point itd just be easier to repaint the car. Lessons learned, take a light with and look at the paint super close at this dealership because they will mask each car long enough to get them off the lot and be outside your 5 days. And dont depend on them for their service on warranty work for factory warranty/lagers 2 month 5000 mile bumper to bumper. Im highly disappointed.

Called to inquire about a used grand cherokee on a Thursday night around 6p. Gary assured me that I could test drive it yet that night and I did driving in all the way from New Ulm to do so. I was very impressed with the vehicle inspection disclosure, a full 120 point inspection I believe including work that was done to it. I noticed an issue with front brakes and test drove the truck a couple days later to make sure it was not a fluke. My wife and I decided to purchase the vehicle as long as the break issue would be addressed. Struck a great deal, had front rotors and pads replaced today at no extra cost and decided to replace the rear rotors and pads at my cost for preventive maintenance. I greatly appreciate the honesty and service at Lagers. Gary did a great job at addressing all my questions and concerns, keep it up.

Apparently I was wrong.They are so cheap there that they are abusing Craigslist to post their stock a vehicles for sale and direct you to their website. Spoke with Leah about my Dodge Dart I bought this past March after I had some issues with it near Monks and ended up sliding into a curb. Not only was she rude, but she also insinuated that there was no possible way my car could have failed (have you heard of a defect???) and repeatedly told me I needed to have it towed to somewhere else. I ended up having it towed up to the Chrysler in Hopkins.Additionally, when I went to test drive some Dart models before I had purchased my car (end of Feb/early March), the sales rep wouldnt even let me try any of them, all because I mentioned I wouldnt be making a purchase that very same day. News flash, smart shoppers arent going to buy a car you wont let them test drive.I would not recommend going to this Chrysler ever if you can help it. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

My parents bought their first vehicle from Doug, our company purchased all our work trucks from Doug, and Ive personally purchased two Ram trucks here. The service is timely, they are honest, and Leah usually accomodates for after hour pick up if I cant make it during hours. Leah has even worked on my junky old Jeep I bought off Craigslist!If you are a Dodge or Jeep person, Id recommend Lagers any day.

I purchased a 2016 Durango in November of 16, I have been calling the service department regularly to ask them to correct the problem I am having with the clock in this Durango. It changes time by 5 hours EVERY DAY! Sometimes as many as 4 times a day!!! The service department said they will not replace the radio/clock component, its too expensive for Dodge to do that....their suggestion is for me to continue to call Dodge and complain to them! Are you kidding me? I have tried that and nothing...I mean NOTHING has gotten done! They said an update was going through on June 8th......I have seen nothing at all! I have purchased many vehicles from Lagers, but this is definitely the LAST one I will ever purchase there, because of their service department and lack of customer care!!! I have also passed the word to many other people who were considering Lagers! Shame on them! I wish I could give LESS than one-star!!!

Ive had the misfortune of needing to stop into Lager of Mankatos service department a few times. Mainly just safety recalls for my vehicle. But each time there, I leave dissatisfied by how they care for a customers vehicle.I have a 2015 Dodge Charger (30,000 miles) and it was starting to have issues when shifting gears. It turns out the transmission and powertrain both needed a software update. That was all taken care of just fine, but the issue lies with the carelessness of an employee when they opened my door and hit the concrete wall! Now my black paint is scuffed/chipped!From now on, I will go out of my way to a different Chrysler dealer to have service done.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Terrible customer service. Charged $130 to tell me that my uconnect radio was crashing and shutting off because it needs an update. Then tried to charge me another $130 to update it. TERRIBLE PLACE WILL NEVER RETURN
