Clean and friendly service. Best gym in the area. Best value for your money too. But no pool. Only downside.

I like going to Planet Fitness. It offers good equipment and a clean, safe environment--with well maintained machines and ample cleaning stations. It has friendly staff who great you when you arrive and acknowledge you when you leave. In particular, I like the 30-Minute Circuit Workout. It a great idea and offers me a complete bodybuilding routine in a quick and reasonable amount of time. When people follow the guidelines you can complete the circuit with no interruptions. In fact, you can complete it 3 times, if desired, and accomplish 3 sets of each exercise. The order of the machines and time between sets makes it easy to accomplish a well executed workout. Im an otr trucker I visit alot of planet fitness locations and this is by far the BEST ONE THEY HAVE AN OVER THE HEAD SHOWER PLUS BODY SPRAY... CLEAN AND FRIENDLY STAFF WAS A PLUS... YOU CAN GET YOUR SEMI IN THE LOT AND PARK NO PROBLEM. WHEN I WAS VISITING THE ROAD WAS CLOSED BUT ONCE THAT OPEN IT WILL BE NOTHING TO GET AND OUT OF THE LOT...

Its a very clean and well maintained facility, with plenty of equipment for every need. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They keep it very cool and ventilated, which makes it much easier to work out. I would suggest it for any level of person, whether its someone with a high level of fitness, or someone just starting out.

I am able to workout without being stared at. Personnel are very nice and helpful. Love the tanning beds.

They rehabed the facility creating much more space. The pulley exercise towers are not great with varying degrees of resistance noted between units given same weight.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and the staff are always busy making sure equipment is sanitized and cleaned off throughout the day. Wished they had earlier hours to help some people that work early get their workout in, but that is more of a corporate decision!

Its being renovated. Loud noises from the renovation. Its needs another changing room one for a huge amount at times dont work . A full length mirror would be great also in the changing room.

Only use for tanning....went in before my trip only to be told new beds in a month. Now told another month...bought package at another place in town. Will most likely cancel my membership due to paying for nothing. Also, only tanning place that clocks you to the minute. Very inconvenient rather than doing once a day like every other place. With crazy schedules, sometimes morning works well and the next day the afternoon. With clocking by the minute YOU ALWAYS lose a day. Very disappointing!

More machines available for those who want to work out.Turning into a Senior social club.The kind that dont let you use the machine cause theyre too busy talking and Not using it themselves.

Clean gym. Very friendly and welcoming staff. If you need something or need help with a machine or really anything, they’re more than willing to help.

Becky, the manager is wonderful. She reached out to me with a concern I had and offered possible solutions. The customer service at the Manitowoc location is/has always been excellent. I love the cleanliness of the location, someone is always cleaning something!!

Been working on tanning recently for an upcoming trip. Well. Found out today that there is no more tanning for about 45 days.... not convenient by a long shot. Not sure why it wasn’t possible to just leave the old beds in to use until closer to the time the new beds were due to be delivered? So now if I’d like to keep up on my tan for this trip I have to drive a half hour... just a tad frustrating 😑

On this healthier lifestyle journey, I found it hard to work towards a goal that was attainable. I finally decided to try working with a trainer, and it has been the greatest experience! Nick has helped me to achieve goals and work muscles that I havent used in years! I have to say he is hands down the best trainer ever!!!! Kudos to you Nick!!!!

Manitowoc Planet Fitness is absolutely the cleanest gym Ive ever used. Management genuinely cares about all clients, staff, and quality of services, and the staff is professional, helpful, and friendly. The training opportunities keep me motivated and the quality of trainer at this gym compares to none. I appreciate feeling welcome and accepted, regardless of my physical abilities.

The gym is no longer open 24 hours because of Covid for some reason? Its become very difficult to find times to workout now as I tend to workout later in the day. When will you go back to 24 hours? How does it make sense to close early because of Covid as well?

Very friendly employees will greet you here. The womens locker room, bathroom, and shower/changing areas are well taken care of and stocked. I am a Black Card member and have never experienced or seen any of the tanning beds, stand up tanning units, water massagers, chair massagers, or the Total Body Fitness units down. I do not tan and so can not comment on the cleanliness, accessibility, or quality of them. All other equipment has been very neat and clean, available reasonably, and work very well.

Perfect outlet from life! Employees are fantastic and always have an answer to anything and everything I may have questions about. Im also glad I got the Black Card Membership for so many reasons but, the main two are tanning and the Hydro Massaging bed and chair. Go and check them out for yourself!!! You definitely wont want to leave without a Membership after you hear all the amazing details and price of joining!!

I love working out here. The machines are always clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. It can get a little busy at peak times but thats to be expected.

Facility was clean. Lots of space for equipment unlike the planet fitness in Milwaukee. People were friendly. I could actually use the equipment I wanted to because it was available. People wiped down the machines after using them. It was great to work out there.

The staff is great. I workout 5 plus days a week. They have 3 of the greatest trainers. Knowing when to change things up and keep you Motivated.

Very nice gym good music and a lot of equipment to use! Also has tanning beds. I kind of hate the fact that theres a million mirrors in the work out area but maybe thats just me 🤣

Draws me away from wanting to come at nights!But I would love to give a shout out to Cora shes so awesome and helpful when she s workikng always happy and laughing and working her butt off to keep up with the people coming in and her job! She definitely deserves great credit for how awesome she does!

My experience at planet fitness has been THE Best experience I have ever had. This club is flawless. The employees are beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside as well. Every time I walk into planet fitness in Manitowoc they greet me with such delight. This makes me want to keep coming back every day for the rest of my life. I would give my life for planet fitness in Manitowoc, in fact I put them in my will. I believe Michelle is the Manager there and she is the most terrific gal I have ever met. Always super helpful and willing to sacrifice her time for me. She is also in my will. Jack, is the most handsome young man I have ever laid eyes on. He also is in my will because of his selflessness and dashing good looks. Alec is the strongest person emotionally and physically, not only does he train me physically he also helps me through personal hardships. He is also in my will. I swear hes the type of person I see in my dreams. I will continue to show my love for planet fitness until the day I die. Billy cleans well.

I love the planet fitness. Planet fitness is my personal planet. I feel like a planet fitness plant, as my roots are deep here.

I think Planet Fitness does a great job building an inclusive atmosphere. I like the variety in equipment and the quantity of that equipment. I would like to have changing stalls with doors and locks in the locker room to get changed.

Hard to beat - a nice assortment of updated equipment, open 24/7 and cheap ($10 - $20 a month).

Great no judgement place to lose weight and bring down your blood pressure safely and comfortable a safe haven for an ultimate health upgrade

Most of the staff here are very nice and kind except one front desk lady who is extremely rude and condescending when you ask simple questions. I avoid going in the mornings now.

My son is coming home. We recently traveled to NYCity & hit every Planet Fitness on the way. Love to say my home gym was the best *****! I can not wait to show off the Manitowoc gym to my son. Loved the gym at UWM but the membership fee-well we know tuition. Planet fitness best$$ BUY for sure.

The staff are friendly and they keep the place pretty clean compared to other PFs Ive been to. Equipment is in pretty good condition - just wish more of the cardio machines built-in HR monitors would work. Otherwise, a great/cheap gym.

The Manitowoc facility is very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. All the equipment is well taken care of and repaired in a timely manner. You cant beat the place for the money or meet nicer people. Its a nice quiet atmosphere where your always greeted by the staff or members and can tell they really mean it. I havent met anyone there yet that judges a person by their shape, weight or sex. Everyones there for the same reason. To try and stay healthy or get in shape. I was never a real health nut or into fitness clubs. If your thinking about going to one, give this one a try first. It wont break your wallet and you dont sign a long term contract. I just signed up for my 4th year.
