Was due to be hired 3 months ago thorugh IQ resource group. I had already put in a 2 week notice at my other job and essentially had quit. Covid hit and 2 days before my start date I was told no one new was allowed in the building and that they would hold.the job. Months passed with correspondence between the.temp agency (i.q resources) and myself. I had taken a different stable job and was doing good. They called several more times promising a start date soon. I put in a 2 week notice at my other job to start with windmill. I jumped threw so many hoops to try to get this position. Made to take one urine screen at the first part before hire and then again the week before I started.Even something that simple turned into a debacle. I was working full time at the time and requested to do it maybe a half hour befofe work so i wouldnt be waking up extra early and having to make 2 trips from sheboygan to Plymouth. Amber left a voicemail stating she scheduled it 2 hours before i had requested. I told her it wouldnt work for me and became agitated and snarly towards me. I ased what the big issue was and was told that ? She didnt feel like calling me and having to call the hospital back again?. Basically saying she didnt want to do her job. I eventually requested and received permission to call and schedule the test on my own. I wish i could say the problems ended there but they go on....At the assignment I was given one week of training on their machine and received a call from the staffing agency the other day as i got into the parking lot at work. Was told not to return with no real details as to what I did wrong. I showed up on time every single day to work and put in my best effort and went out of my way to try to as questions and get a better understanding of the job and what was expected of me. One of the coworkers I had was working on this machine for over 25 years and trying to get him to speak to me or give me any direction was like pulling teeth. No one wanted to do any trainingSo with terrible training and a company that only gives somebody one week to try to master a machine that requires a lot of different components isnt fair to a loyal employee. As I said I was on time every day and never missed any days and worked to the best of my ability and was constantly asking questions and trying to pick up on any tidbits of information that they would give me. Which wasnt much. I didntfeel very welcome and the training was non existent. I would ask to move on and learn the next part of the job and would be told ? I wasnt ready.After sort of dragging me through the mud for 3 months promising that this job would be there and that I would be one of the operators on this machine I think that it was extremely unfair to only allow me one week to try to pick up on all of the different details and intricacies to the job.I still havent been paid any money for any of the work that I have done and the temp agency sent my money to the wrong account. So I am awaiting a check in the mail. Was supposed to be paid last friday but apparently iq resources messed up pay roll and sent my money to a totally different account. i am now 4 days past when i was supposed to be paid. And until they recoup their money they wont pay me. Ilegal business practices for sureentire situation was a complete Nightmare and Im just writing this to try to put it out there for anyone else considering taking a position at this company. I dont feel that its very stable and I dont feel that many people would do well at this place especially with a non-existent training program and coworkers that are not really willing to train.Personally I would recommend anyone stay far away from this place in terms of being offered a job. They will chew you up and spit you out in a matter of a week or two and you will be back to square one.Be very cautious because while on the surface they seem nice, they dont treat temps well. Youll. regret taking the job in any department. Tread with.extreme caution
