All the reviews are true:-Your rental is not guaranteed-They will not call you (and they will lie to you saying they did) when you rental is not available-This business is very unprofessional in that they blames other parties in Budget rather than trying to alleviate the situationI had a reservation which I made online the evening before pick up. I called an hour before pick up to be told that a lady had called me that morning. I never received a call. On the contrary actually: I had received an email confirming my reservation. I ended up renting from U Haul last minute.I had hoped the older reviews had been addressed, but to my dismay this company lacks customer service, organization and communication.

Wouldn’t even give it one star. Picked up this truck from the Bryant Irvin location. Drove 7.5 hours in a truck that needed an alignment (the wheel kept driving to the left the entire ride). The check engine light was on as soon as we pulled off the lot, it ran hot 3 times which caused me to have to pay for it to get serviced. They only wanted to give me $150 of the $407 I spent on the truck. At this point, I would not recommend. Especially if you expect to get to your destination in a timely manner. The truck was raggedy and the only thing they said was “we can refund $150 for the inconvenience”.

I rented a 12 truck but it had an oil leak; so they offered me a 16 truck at the same cost. It was too big for my need do I was able to get a cargo van. They said it was a special order and more than the 12 but when I went on line to check, it was cheaper than the 12 truck. Never got a straight answer from either location.

When I showed up to pick up my rental truck I was informed my reservation was cancelled. The gentleman working the counter told me they should have notified me. Well not only did I not get notified, I got a confirmation email from Budget two days before my rental. Imagine the surprise only to find out with zero notice that there wasnt a truck available. Equally important, the gentleman in duty didnt really seem too concerned. It was my problem, not his.This was my first Budget Truck rental experience and undoubtedly, my last. I am very disappointed with Budget and this shop. They didnt notify me. They in this case was Budget AND this local shop. Either could have notified me. Neither did.

Horrendous Budget Truck rental site; rude and will charge you a $75 no show fee even after you call and they say they dont have your RESERVED truck

Very rude manager. She speaks to you as though you are incompetent. Then laughs when you address the issue.

Budget sucks!I reserved a truck 2 months prior, then 3 days early i go by Furniture Warehouse to check if the car carrier will fit.The guy tells me Budget didnt call you? Then says they didnt send him a truck for me and gave me their customer service number. So he is probably a good guy.Calling Budget, they tell me reserving a truck just locks in your rate it doesnt guarantee well have a truck.WTH!?Goes on to explain more people left the area then came in so they have no trucks.....but they didnt call me because someone could move from Kansas City to Manhattan on Friday and then we would have a truck for you.YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!Good thing Penske had a truck (for more money because its last minute)Screw Budget sideways!

I visited here at night so i had no interaction with employees. My GPS took me right to it. Easy to see from the road as long as they have trucks in thier lot.

Truck was fine. The Service Manager (Jeanette)was extremely rude and condescending. We will never rent from them or Budget again. Never have been treated that at any Uhaul locations before.

We rented a 10 ft. moving truck from this office and it was the most miserable experience Ive ever had with a rental. To start, the man who checked the vehicle out to us was incredibly rude. I was personally offended by his earnest use of the term towel head. Additionally, we reserved a bid for $0.75 per mile, but when we got there, he wanted to charge us $0.80 per mile. He bullied us into accepting the change, insisting that we wouldnt be able to get a truck anywhere else that close to the end of the month. Then he made a point to tell us that the truck was new and should have excellent a/c, yet there was absolutely no a/c in the truck. It was 110 F outside. When I called the rental office to tell them about the a/c, they said, Oh no. Hopefully we can fix that for the next person. Besides no a/c, the truck had no cruse control and ended up costing us $100 more than a much nicer truck from Penske would have.Overall, it was an expensive, uncomfortable, and offensive experience. We will not be using Budget or this rental office again.

(Save yourself the time money and effort, budget has a ton of hidden fees that show up when you go pay, Penske and uhaul dont. I got the same truck in better condition with uhaul for the same price! DO NOT GO BUDGET!) Truck they gave us did not have a working AC unit in the middle of the summer, my experience at the store was already unpleasant and it felt like they were trying to get me out of their hair ASAP. Dealing with them in person was a nightmare, dealing with the customer service was even worse! We tried returning the truck due to faults and they said they were gonna still charge us for driving it. The people at this store were rude and I would NOT recommend taking your service there.

The person there was so rude to make conversations . I can hardly communicate with them. Since I cannot rent a truck with a valid ID, they just cancelled it without any notice, and hope Budget will not charge me for $50 cancelation fees. And they can do nothing but only a 10% off the price. (We had a 25% off coupon). With a total of $280 for rent a truck, that is ridiculous! And they said have to charge $25 for drivers under 23(I never had that experience before from other renters). Then I have to go uhual with a $130 cheaper to get all the same thing! I have rented moving trucks at least 5 times and I never had so annoying experience with rental trucks before, and I will never recommend my friends to go there for Budget trucks.

Dirty ass truck, sticky everywhere in cabin. Looks like a drink was sprayed everywhere. Then the car carrier we received was so rusted and busted it delayed our trip fighting to secure our car on it.
