I gave 1 star cause the day i picked the car was easy and convinient but after returning the car. The crew member told me that i will receive the copy of my reciept by email within an hour. The next day still no email for my reciept and i got charge for extra day. I called back the answer i got was they dont handle that the corperation office in Wichita does all that. I called the Wichita office they told me they jave no information. I have been calling both places for couples day no one take action on my issue and I got charge every day till now for 7 days. No one give me the right answer. I called multiple times and still no problem solve. 7 days since the day i returned the car still been charge for every single days extra. Who has responsible for this?

By far the worst rental place Ive ever tried to book a vehicle at. The hidden fees are ridiculous to say the least and the customer service is next to 0. Id recommend walking before booking a vehicle with them. One huge reason Id prefer to drive across the country then fly and have to deal with renting a car

Took my granddaughter there to pick up a car, in and out in no time great car.

The staff at this location was very helpful and quick. One of the things going for this location is that it is a regional airport, so it isnt usually super busy. The vehicle was clean and ready to go just a short walk from the counter.

Pretty consistently disappointing. I showed up today with a printed reservation confirmation and the girl took my ID and was going through their usual process when a rude, heavy set blond woman came out of no where and told me they had no vehicles and would not be able to provide the vehicle I reserved until over 6 hours later than I reserved it for. I seriously thought she was kidding at first, as the first girl had identified my reservation in their system and begun the process of getting me ready to go. Completely unprofessional to not contact me as soon as they realized they would be unable to fulfill my reservation instead of when I showed up and was half way checked in. Not sure why I was surprised, as this is not even the first time this has happened to me at this location. Unreliable, unprofessional, 10/10 do not recommend.

Be careful keep an eye on you bank account they will take money from your account for no reason. Been fighting them for 14 days now and still havent got the money they took from my account back. At least they live up to their name HERTZ HURTS!!!! USE ENTERPRISE!

The Hertz attendant working on Dec. 30th was very friendly, but the stipulations of getting a rental here is just asinine. For a two day rental, my total came to $100, but they wanted to put a hold on my debit card for $300 - a $200 HOLD?!This tells me two things:1) Obviously charging me 3x the amount of my rental is just plain stupid. I dont have to pay this much in Dallas, Burbank, Kansas City, Denver, Wichita or Phoenix, so why does a Hertz office in Manhattan, Kansas, need to hold such a large sum of money?2) In relation to such a large hold on rentals, this also tells me Hertz only wants certain people (wealthy) to rent their vehicles at this location. Even if this isnt the intention, this is the message you are sending. Large metropolitan areas dont have this high of a hold, so what makes the office here so special? High theft risk? I highly doubt that.Youre better off renting from any other company in Wichita or Kansas City if coming to Manhattan.

Their service was good. I got a great car and there was no disappointment. I will just advise that you may want to give them a reminder call a couple of days before pick up.

Booked rental here for my son, as a travel agent. He is military. used the PICK UP request as he was on base, and left a note if that was a problem to notify us and we can make other arrangement. Pick up time arrived... not a word from anyone. call the office and JESSIE says - you never called us to request it! The website does not state a call is needed, in fact states THEY WILL CALL YOU! He ends up having to pay for an Uber to get him to the location.He uses a debit card and is getting a fullsize vehicle. They decide to run a credit check, then decline to rent to him. I call to find out what is going on, and even though I am the agent who booked the reservation, they REFUSE TO TALK with me, because I am not the driver! I call and tell him to go back in and request a refund. He goes back in, and Jessie REFUSES to issue refund, stating the person who made the reservation has to request it! She then THREATENS to contact his C/O, unless he leaves the premises. He in NO WAY did or said anything disrespectful!He then had to pay for an Uber to get back to his barrack.Reported all this to corporate, and a WEEK LATER... he still has yet to receive a refund!He was able to get a vehicle from Enterprise, WITHOUT a credit check, and the cost was LESS than Hertz.Not sure why anyone military would use this store, as they clearly have a problem with soldiers. And why the refuse to refund his money... is beyond me!

Imy flight was canceled. I forgot change my reservation to the next day. They were good to find another car for me

Made a reservation, show up and the car I reserved is not available, they say another car is available so I say fine, whatever, Ill take what I can get but I had to wait over an hour to get that car. To be fair the staff was nice and understanding but clearly understaffed and overworked....the 1 star is not just from this single encounter its from every encounter. Ive NEVER received the car I reserved.

My niece and her boyfriend had a car reserved for September 1st. The car they reserved had a recall. Hertz did have another car for Carlos Botella. Hertz insisted upon cleaning the car. My niece and Carlos said, It doesnt matter if it is clean. I just want to make it to my grandpas funeral. Misty and Carlos finally made it AFTER the funeral service was over. I will never use this car rental company!Hertz YOU SUCK! My niece was very upset and with legitimate reason. They made them pay full price for the rental car! This is just so wrong in so many ways!

My insurance company brought me to Hertz and this location has the worst customer service skills. As I was coming the woman at the desk was in a hurry to leave and did not go over or explain anything to me she had me sign the paper work and gave me the keys and was out the door before I was. The next thing is communication every time I AL the phone just rings and rings then I go and call a corporate number and they just tell me to call the local company which I cant get a hold of. Very disappointed in this location and how they treat their customers. This is just my experience yours could be vastly different.

I booked a prepaid rental from this location to go home and visit family on leave. When I arrive they not only have my car that I reserved they also didnt apparently have the 250+ dollars used in the prebooking. They tried to charge me the full rate for a downgrade. After cancelling the rental the cooperate customer service was just as useless. I can honestly say I will never do business with this location or any other hertz location again.

I use this team all the time, they are a solid 10, friendly, handle everything, They set a standard that other hertz locations can only dream of.

Nice staff but for some reason they decided not to charge my card, after I had returned the car and then decided to turn what I owe them into a debt collection agency without telling me or even trying to contact me, so now I have to go through the trouble of that as well as suffering from my credit score being brought down because of the whole situation

Not sure why other people have had such a problem but they where nothing but nice to me and I was with my rental within 15 min good fast service.

The team at MHK Hertz goes above and beyond to help.They are an airport location in a college town.While they will do all they can to help, if you dont plan ahead, you can find yourself without a car due to schedule with college, holidays and incoming flights. (Though most the time they have plenty)
