I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and I asked for the tires to be rotated a day prior to the service. Car got dropped off 20 minutes early and got finished 20 mins after 4 oclock. Tires were not rotated and I know this because I have two tire valve stem caps that are on the front and they are still on the front tires. Paid 87 bucks for this service and didnt get what I asked for. I dont recommend going here. They also did not top any of the fluids like it states in the invoice.

I have been a customer coming to the Midas in Manhattan Ks for several years. I have never had a problem with the work Adam does on my car. He does the work well and is great at explaining issues I may have in the future, and how i can prevent them as a car owner. I have had brakes, suspension, plugs wires, tune ups and tires done here. They are a true all around shop. Jason at the front counter is always professional, understanding, and friendly towards every customer I have seen him interact with. They are very punctual with their appointments, and understanding to if you are a little late. This is my go to Mechanic Shop when I am too lazy to do it myself, or when I dont have the means to do it myself.

They do a wonderful job. The service is generally affordable and the staff has always been helpful without taking advantage or pressuring. On my recent visit for a simple oil change, they found nails in the tire and offered a patch at no extra cost. I truly appreciated them going above and beyond expectation.

This was my first time trying this place out and they were able to get me in super last second when Firestone canceled my appointment and I do not regret coming here! When Firestone would take over an hour to do an oil change, Midas took only 30 minutes! They also gave me great advice to upgrade my husbands truck to surprise him for when he comes back from deployment! I definitely will be coming back!

Needed oil change and tire rotation They also inspected brakes without charge and noted that the front brakes pads needed replacement. Was offered to have work done at the time but I couldn’t stay longer. There was no pressure to have work done. Was very pleased with service. At the time, the person at the service desk had a call from a past customer. From the conversation, the customer was demanding and irritated. The phone call was quite long but he kept in control and was very patient. And also while waiting for appointment, another customer came to pick up his car and raised a fuss (unwarranted) about the cost.Again, he also stayed in control in explaining the costs to the customer. So indirectly, I also experienced the customer service provided at this Midas. I am returning for the brake work as recommended.

While it was a little more expensive in terms of labor than I anticipated, the fact that they got the job done with no issues and really quickly was more than enough to satisfy my expectations. Not the cheapest, but they work fast and are straight to the point. Ive been using them for about 5 years, and I consistently deal with the same people. Customer service is good considering they deal with people who usually arent happy to be there. I would like to see some kind of package deal on regular things, like oil changes, or rewards program for frequent customers.

My most trusted auto shop, their manager and mechanics are honest and professional. I have a pretty old car and have more than 200 K miles on it, so there was a lot of work need to be done on my car when I got it. I am not a native speaker of English, so I cant fully understand all the terms. However, the manager and mechanics would patiently explain what they need to do and why they should do it in a clear way that I can understand, and even point out some small problems that I really dont need to worry about, which I am very grateful for. And since the first repair, Ive driven this car for almost two years and only need to do the regular maintenance, which was all done here too, at a pretty fair price. Ill definitely keep going here and recommend it to everyone. You wont regret it.

I needed a quick appointment as I was traveling through the area. I was treated with professionalism and respect, not two things women are used to when dealing with automotive establishments. They worked me in and did a great job. I would highly recommend Midas in Manhattan KS for your automotive needs!

They got me in really quickly and gave me a good deal.

Had them do brakes all the way around on our vehicle. For the rear drums all they did was replace the drum and not the actual internals. This is one year later and I am just now realizing as there was a “metal on metal” noise. The shop that is completing the work currently said that the one year old drums were being destroyed and that Midas didn’t replace any internals. Take your business elsewhere.

Ive been coming to Manhattan Midas for years and rarely have been disappointed. Now live in Junction City KS but still come to Midas for all of my vehicles needs.

To be honest the service in the front of the house was horrible. He didnt listen to me clearing while I was asking questions about the type of oil. They supposedly try to help rectify situations but to what extent. My car did not have any issue until this oil change.

I’ve had a mixed experience at some other shops around town, but Jason and his team at Midas have been consistently helpful with a variety of issues on both of our family vehicles and can usually get me in and out of the shop fairly quickly and without too much damage to the pocket book. Car repairs aren’t pleasant, but I feel like my family is being taken care of here.

You can get your oil changed here for a decent price but expect them to find and quote you to fix/change everything including trying to sell you new tires. If you know someone who is mechanically savvy then keep them on speed dial to double check what you are being told is correct because somethings can be said in a misleading manner.

The oil change, tire rotation, and inspection were completed within 60 minutes while I waited. The price of 49.95 For synthetic blend oil is competitive and the service was efficient and courteous. However, although I showed the service counter rep a $10 coupon for this service when I checked in, and he agreed that it would be applied, I discovered when I got home that it had not been credited. When I called them about the discrepancy, they agreed to apply a $10 credit to my account. This may be an honest mistake, but is the second time that this has happened, so I doubt that I will return to them.

Good deal on tires.

I used to take my vehicles to them. They were on point. It would be direct quotes, good and fast service, and a professional attitude. I didnt mind paying a little more than what other shops would charge because diagnostics were complimentary and you know things were done right. Then they would surprise you with diagnostic fees, and stopped being direct with us. Making it not worth it and having to cancel. Today, we had taken our car there for tires and there was a huge miscommunication because 3 times we were on the phone with them and prices kept changing from original quote. To explain. We asked for a full quote and they have gave us a partial one and even after calling them back and seeing what was going on, they didnt go back to original quote until we were ready to cancel because all the back and forth wasted too much time and screwed up our plans for the day. I dont care about any of that because theres always someone else offering better service for less. The deal breaker for me is the attitude they gave my wife for backing out when they are the ones that fumbled this with their poor communication skills. Then became unprofessional with the attitude. Had they honored the quote to begin with and been more direct and not caused so much confusion.. then we would have gotten our service done there. Need to learn how to communicate and change your attitude. this isnt the first time theyve been unprofessional. One of the guys made a passive aggressive statement about me and called me a name. But obviously only those who dont have the balls to say something to your face are the dooshbag

I heard good things about this Midas location and figured I Would bring my new baby in to try them out. And let me tell you, I am glad I did.I have had bad experiences in the past with shops tearing up my rims or getting grease stains in my car. So I am always paranoid about these things. Not to mention COVID is going on.Well this experience was by far the best I have ever had. Not only was this team professional, courteous, but they were efficient. All COVID precautions were taken and treated me like a valued customer. That is rare these days, a lot of customer service reps tend to forget they are here to assist us.They got my car in very quickly and kept me company while I waited, asking if I needed coffee and showed me where the restroom was.Thank you very much for your hard work and dedication to your job, especially during this pandemic.
