Pat went above and beyond trying to contact the extended warranty company that I had. Even though I had to reschedule my appointment since they did not have approval in time to finish the job on my original day. I appreciated his perseverance in getting the approve and the job completed.

I had concerns about what may or may not be covered under the lifetime extended warranty, but was pleasantly surprised when what I had issues with was covered. Troy was in contact with me the whole time and transparent about the work too be performed. Very happy.

I was to leave for Denver on this past Monday and my check engine light came on on the Saturday before. I had it checked on a computer at a tire place who told me what they thought (which was correct) but they could not fix it. I drove the Schwan garage, where they squeezed me in to their very busy schedule, confirmed the diagnosis and fixed it by noon that day. I was on the road to Denver by 1pm. I really appreciated it.
The salesman was very helpful. Did a lot of extra re setting up computer info. Guided me through the navigation of the system of operations of the vehicle. Very personable.

Fast and a fair price, they did a good job. Could not believe how many employees standing around the oil change center playing on their phones. Must have been a dozen people milling around and Arlen was the only one working. He did a good job. Might not cost so much if more people worked.
The only problem I had was it took two weeks to get it done when I had an appointment to get it in and I think it should have been done before other cars when the parts for my car came in and they told me the reason it took so long to fix it was because they werent getting paid for their labor because my car is under warranty and I dont think that is a good reason to make me wait almost two weeks for my car when I had an appointment before some of the other cars. That was the only problem I had otherwise the service was good.
Service was great and professional and respectful, however I was not given a veterans discount because young gentleman was not paying attention, but that happens often, I did not mention I was a veteran, but wearing clothing that mentioned that I was a veteran. He was young and might not have known but supervisor mentioned that I get a double discount on my next return for oil change and service.
A check engine light lit up during my cross country trip. I called it in to Schwann GMC and Service Rep. Pat Johnson was able to resolve the issue and have me on my way expeditiously and professionally. I recommend Schwann for their honest business.
I stopped by for an oil change at the Quick Lube. Everything went very smoothly. The staff there are friendly and professional, and my car was ready in a timely manner.
They were extremely efficient. I wasnt even able to finish my Sudoku game (Heehee). Its very easy to stop in when my Change Oil warning comes on, because it is always this efficient.
We use Schwan Buick GMC Cadillac for all our oil changes. Their quick lube staff is great and always does a great job. I highly recommend to others.

Service requested for a problem with my 2020 Buick Enclave Avenir, shudder at low speed acceleration, that re-occurred and I was told WILL NOT attempt to repair until I have 5K miles since last repair for same problem. I have about 2.5K miles since last repair; the problem was fixed (after FOUR SERVICE TRIPS to dealer before problem was actually resolved) but then problem re-occurred. I will be getting a second opinion at A DIFFERENT Buick service dealer. I was told shudder is a software problem, not a mechanical problem so as above WONT EVEN TRY TO FIX IT until the 5K mile mark is achieved as it is NOT A SAFETY ISSUE per manager words. I have a summer trip planned and I CAN NOT have issues IN THE MOUNTAINS with my NEW car. I am so upset and frustrated but will GLADLY drive over 100 miles to different dealer in a different town for service on this software issue; if that is really what is wrong. Service manager implied that my car will fix itself. I have lost all my trust in this dealership. I wish I never traded in my 2012 Acadia; that was A VERY BIG mistake on my part. There was nothing wrong with my old vehicle and now I have had this BRAND NEW VEHICLE in the shop multiple times in the past 7 months.

I called and made an appointment for some inferior parts that needed replacement. It was not an important issue whatsoever. Bryant, the body shop manager, worked with me and my college schedule as well as me having to quarantine and cancel the first scheduled appointment. He provided great service, and got me in and out of the dealership in a timely manner. He ran my car through the wash, and provided me with warranty information I didn’t know about as well. Much appreciated!
I want to tell you how much I appreciate my salesman Marshall Becker. Since I reside in Texas, I had to fly up to Bismarck to pick up my vehicle. Marshall is incredibly nice, courteous and is not a high pressure salesman. He answered all of my questions and had everything in order when I arrived. He did not rush me but instead, sat me down in the truck and went over every button and feature to make sure I knew how to operate it. I wish more salesmen were like Marshall. Keep up the good work!

Today was just a routine oil change. And as always, service was exceptional and staff was friendly. Dropped off my vehicle at the oil change service then proceeded inside the dealership to speak to some of the staff. I have been going to schwan for all my maintenance and have purchased multiple vehicles over the last 15 years. Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by multiple people that know me by name. They are very welcoming and service is second to none. I highly recommend Schwan whether youre purchasing a vehicle or just doing standard maintenance. In my opinion hands down best service in the Bismarck mandan area.

I had my oil changed after waiting an hour in line....I asked that they check my tire pressure’s and top out at level tire is rated for...as well as typical oil change...the man said they checked the tires and they were fine...I drove away...about 4 miles down road I got a low tire pressure lite on dash....I drove back and they checked tires...they had not been adjusted to equal pressures.
I had extensive body work on our 2018 Acadia after a traffic accident. Mike Weiand was outstanding in handling our claim and restoring the Acadia. He took care of everything - estimates, insurance processing, parts, and repairs. HIs customer skills are awesome - he made me very comfortable knowing and trusting in communicating the entire process. He called a couple of times giving an update of the progress - there were no surprises!!Thank you Mike and to your entire team for restoring our Acadia to original, new condition!

Was greeted promptly, and offered a ride. Was called when a different problem was found then what I went in for, and that problem was covered under warranty, and they fixed right then. A HUGE savings on money and my time by not having to come back again. Plus when I picked up my car they had washed it for no extra charge. What a wonderful surprise that was.

I Went to your Quick Lube and it was impressive on how well the young gentleman talked to me! I purchased my Buick at another dealer from Colorado and came up to North Dakota for a visit! I didn’t know about the GM rewards system until this young man helped me set it up! He had so much Patience when explaining things to us about our vehicle! The only regret I have is I did not catch this Gentleman’s name but I believe I seen the number 14 on the back of his sweatshirt! He is definitely an asset to your dealership! Thank you!!!!
I wasnt real happy about my last visit, we were looking to buy a mid 2000 chevy or gmc. They had a blue 2003 gmc 2500 with the 6.6 liter diesel 228k miles with some damage on the box. They said it was marked at 15k but it had been marked down to 10k. I hopped in and started it up, the engine was cold and had only 12psi of oil pressure (should be 40). The salesman told me that its normal, and a family member of his does the same thing. I had the forethought to bring my scan tool with just in case, we plugged it in and found 2 engine codes, and 2 trans codes. I showed him these results, and he said hmm well the light isnt on its ok. Except those are stored codes and the light should be on, so it had to be burned out or missing.As a mechanic, i am willing to do some work to it, i realize it is an old truck, its not going to be perfect. However someone is going to end up with this thing, and be very upset when they find out all of the underlying issues.I told them i would buy the vehicle if they were willing to test the oil pressure at the engine in case it was just the gauge on the dash or a bad sending unit. They never even called back.
I like GMC but they dont make fast cars, I love mopars and they had a sweet deal on this 2018 Dodge charger scat pack. 2857 Miles fully loaded. Only paid 35 Grand for it was a steal of a deal. I will return any day of the week here awesome guys. They arent like other car dealers that try to scan you into something that isnt fit for you they will help you out in something that suits you.
Brad was excellent to deal with. Answered all our questions, was very accommodating with test drives and no pressure.
Good communications on issues needing service
This is a review based on my experience with the service department. I have had multiple visits here over 3 years and not once did I feel confident in their ability to find and handle any problems. My first visit was for a mud guard install which they gave me a 1 hour time estimate...5 hours later I had to call and ask if my truck was ready and they hadnt even started it. Every visit after that just never gained my confidence. I would make an appointment but when I showed up nobody had records of an appointment ever being made, I would always have to ask multiple questions to gain info on the service being done or they wouldnt tell me anything and the service reps would seem to get annoyed because I cared to be informed on whats happening with my vehicle. My last appointment started with me explaining a hazardous issue affecting my vehicle and instead of making recommendations on what they can do to help the rep instead asked me what I want them to do. If I knew what to do then why would I need them? These are so call certified techs who instead of help guide and lead you towards a solution ask you how to do there jobs. I should have gotten an employee discount for directing them on how to find and solve the problems they are supposed to be certified for and all I did was use Google. Finally I got fed up and canceled an upcoming appointment and instead of inquiring as to why and trying to hang onto good customers they just say ok and hang up. I do not recommend this place unless your wallet is deep and you have nothing better to do then wait for little to no results with unprofessional service reps who ask you how to do their jobs so they can play mechanic.

The sales representative at Schwann Buick GMC, Ray was amazing to work with. He was not pushy when it came to deciding if I wanted to purchase a vehicle or not. He showed me all the features with the vehicle I was interested in and let me test drive it to get the feel of the vehicle. The finance person whose name i missed was very helpful with finding the lowest APR and getting us what we wanted with our vehicle.

I felt that Brady gave me a very fair deal on a truck that was very hard to find. Probably my most pleasant dealing on a vehicle yet. All the staff there were excellent. Felt at home. Even though we are from Minnesota and had a 6 hour drive it was definitely worth it. Never had a person like Brady that went thru all the details of a truck like he did. That was awesome. And so appreciated! It really was a good buying experience. Cant say enough about Brady and the crew.

I cannot give this company a low enough rating. I am a 19 year old female. This company saw me coming from the time I walked through the door. I had done months of research and the only reasoning went to Schwan was because I found a vehicle that fit my guild lines. It took hours to make the purchase because the salesman had his cousin in and was working a deal with him so consequently I was put on the back burner. I had a car to trade in which they gave me well below book claiming they would have to do a lot of work on it. I see it now on their lot for nearly twice what they gave for it. Upon getting my new/used vehicle home I drove it for less than 30 days when my air shocks stopped working. I took it to the shop and they said it would cost 700$. Our auto shop encouraged us to call Schwan because most dealers will stand behind repairs. Schwan auto paid for absolutely NOTHING! I have a friend in Bismarck who said Schwan has absolutely terrible service. With all of the auto dealers in North Dakota one should never have to buy from Schwan!

This is the only place Ive taken a vehicle where I was told they wouldnt do an estimate for repairs without having an open claim with my insurance. Since I would have preferred to pay for it myself rather than turn in an insurance claim I didnt waste my time or theirs.
