I got a full set of dip nails and within a few days I had one pop up breaking the seal without doing anything strenuous. I went into the salon and the staff fixed my nail immediately for free. Two days later the same nail fell off and I didn’t do anything that should have contributed to the nail falling off. With intentions of going in the next day; that evening, I was picking up my pillow from the floor and another nail popped!I went in and the friendly staff apologized and fixed both nails free. Ok great; until I got home and went to open a grocery store bag because I couldn’t get it untied. While using my thumb ‘nails’ I barely pressed through the bag 😤 because we all know grocery bags are super thin. As I pressed in to tear the bag open my thumb nail cracked completely in half!!!! I wasn’t pressing into any object contained in the bag at all!!! It has been 7 days and as of today I had my nails pop 4 Xs!!! The tech that did my nails was Amy originally. The other tech fixed my nail the first time it popped then after fixing it the nail fell off.The other nails that popped originally were done by Amy. I have never in my life had my nails repaired that many times in a short time frame. I decided to just go ahead and remove them myself!! With pressing just a little with my nail file from my clippers all of them came off! No appointment needed for removal:) I am going somewhere else in Ladue and the nail tech I spoke with in Ladue stated the nail bed was not properly prepared.

The staff at Spa Central are kind, professional, and very good at what they do. We’ve been coming here for over 4 years and the service over the years has been consistently good. They offer dips (that last!), gel manicures, pedi’s (clean tubs!), and waxes. There are hair stylists here although I’ve never had my hair done here so I can’t speak to that.My daughter and I have been to many nail salons and this is one of the best in West St Louis County. Thanks Lynn and your staff for all you do!

I love this place!!! I always get the best service and they are super friendly I love that they are super close by and they always answer the phone whenever I call to make an appointment. I’ve been coming here for more then two years and I always come out happy.

They were able to get me in as a walk in on a Friday evening which was great. They have a hand washing station for guests. Massage chair was amazing. Social distancing (aside from the tech having to get within 6 to do their work) was a challenge.

Spa central is great place to get spoiled. Staff is very professional Service is great. Ive been going to this place for years. I would recomend this Spa.

I been going here for 4 years now and I have seen a lot of employees in and out of the salon. I had some good technician and some just ok technician. Yesterday I randomly walk in to get dipping powder and I meet Vickie. I was little cautious because she new here. But it was pleasant talking to her, very positive attitude, friendly and knowledgeable. I think I found my new nails technician now. ( she gives GREAT hand massage).

I went in needing a refill after having a bad experience at another salon. I was a little nervous because I felt like my nails looked terrible. I was ready to just take them all off and start over. Tim was great! He fixed my horrible troll looking nails, and we had good conversation while he worked. My nails look great! Thanks Tim! Ill see you in 2 weeks!

Loved this place when I first started coming here. Friendly and fast service. Then the past couple times I’ve got my nails done I’ve went to the same lady (forgot her name) but since she started doing them the top coat of the gel peels off with in the next couple days. Got my hands done about 3 or 4 days ago and my nails are already peeling an ruined to where I’m going to have to go somewhere to get them done again

This nail salon used to be wonderful. Staff changed so they have gone downhill. Not friendly plus doing a poor pedicure.

I have been a customer at Spa Central for more than 12 years! Ive had manicures, pedicures, hair, and waxing services. I have had to go other places while traveling or just in a time crunch. I always am reminded why I go to Spa Central! Always taken care of and receive non-rushed one on one time from my technician. Lynn is an amazing, hands on owner at Spa Central!

I’ve gone to this salon for years but the last three times I’ve gone it’s been a disappointment. Mostly I get gel pedicures and the occasional manicure. The pedicures have become less than mediocre. They hardly scrape the bottom of your feet as if they just don’t have the energy to do a good job. The last three times I’ve gone I’ve asked for a sugar scrub and they just look at me and nod but end up not doing it. The massage you’re supposed to receive never happens. Why do you get pedicures in the first place if not for the massage?? Three times I’ve gone back hoping that the previous time the tech was having an off day but nope it happened again and again. She puts lotion on barely rubbing it in and starts my toenails. I’ve brought my 5 year old in for her very first pedicure and the young lady she got was very cheerful and talked to her the whole time explaining everything she was doing and answering all her questions. The next time I brought her in was a different story. She didn’t talk to her at all! My daughter would try and ask her questions and the lady just ignored her. I was so upset about that whole experience and even then tried one more time hoping it would be better as I’ve always had good experiences when I first started going. I always go in the morning or early afternoon when it’s not busy and they still can’t manage to do a proper pedicure. I went Monday and no one was getting a pedicure but me. The water was cold, even though I told her it was. A few seconds worth of foot scraping even though it’s winter, my feet are incredibly dry and it’s been a few months since I’ve had a pedicure. No sugar scrub even though I asked and absolutely no massage!! She rubbed a little lotion on but didn’t even take the time to rub it in. She didn’t say one word to me the whole time...horrible experience and I’m done trying no more Spa Central for me or my daughter. Again, I gave them three chances to be better and it only became worse. I recommend not going here if you want a proper pedicure or even a pleasant interaction with your nail tech.

I hate to leave a negative review as there were positives to the salon as well, however, I feel the negatives are important to be shared.My mother and I both had mani/pedi and gel/pedi on a Saturday. The owner Lynn is extremely friendly and welcoming. The salon is beautiful.The negatives: Felt very rushed through the pedicure. I didnt realize when I elected to do a manicure, I would stay seated in the pedicure chair and they did it chairside. That is not a comfortable angle to have someone tugging your arms across you back and forth. Which leads me to the reason for writing a review. (None of those would have warranted taking the time.) I am sure due to the rush and the angle of my hand, my manicurist took a pretty significant nick out of my left middle finger. It left a large black/blood spot immediately. It has been there all week. I am only 6 days from the Manicure and I just left my primary care doctor - its horribly infected. I feel like this could have been prevented had I been seated at a proper manicure table or station.I adored my manicurist, Cynthia, and my nails looked wonderful. I do believe its the way they set up and try to rush. I did not particularly care for the stylist that did my pedicure as she spoke less than 3 words and was rushing as well. Wasnt a great pedicure, essentially just polish and some light buff.In addition, there was a lot of awkward tension between the stylists and they were rudely snipping at one another. To the point one asked another for a polish and he replied get it yourself.The owner was SUPER friendly, Cynthia was great and VERY skilled, the spa is beautiful. Again - mixed reviews and with the cost of seeing a Doctor for the infection, and medication, it was definitely NOT worth the money.Update: Following my review the owner messaged me and offered a 20% off on next visit. INSULT. Spent $125 in her spa plus almost $100 on Clinic Copay and RX. Not to include what the clinic will bill my insurance, and hopefully it heals well.

Gel manicures turn out OK, would not recommend for any acrylic sets. They always turn out lumpy and not shaped well.

Got a manicure and pedicure for a wedding. Waited 25 minutes in the pedicure chair with my feet in icy cold water. Asked 3 times if the water could be warmer but all they did was add some warm water to the cold water which was quickly cold again. Finally got around to my pedicure which was fine but little attention was paid to actually sculpting my nails and applying polish. Job was rushed and sloppy, could have done a better job myself. Manicure was done while sitting in the pedicure chair, very rushed, very poor job. One nail had some debris under the polish and when I asked them to redo it they told me no that it looked fine, when I insisted they did an even worse rush job than before. Had to apply another top coat when I got home just so the manicure would make it to the wedding the next day.

They do a great job and are very welcoming i love asking for cris she is great!!!

Love love love great people excellent work and so many service options. Try the dip powder mani...my nails have never been so long!!!!

I only gave one star because I can’t give zero. DO NOT go here!! They do a terrible job and have nasty attitudes.

This is the second time I got dip manicure here, first time was good the second time however 2 of them broke in the first week, they replaced it and the next I had three more broken nails.
