It took my wife and I a while to decide upon they style and colors that we wanted for our kitchen backsplash but Mills was patient with us and not pushy at all. I was originally going to do the work myself but asked for two quotes, one with all the materials and labor and one with only the tiles. Mills provided both without question. Based on the very reasonable labor charge we decided to let them install. This was a very good decision. The workmanship was excellent and the total install was only 2 days (only a few hours each day). The first day was installing the tile, the second was grout. We are very happy with the result.

I usually do all my own installation, and I usually buy from big box retailers.At the end of the day the material cost difference was negligible, more products on hand to actually touch/take home to look at and of course way better service. Way better.I also decide to let them install as I was about tired of my project at that point. The three man crew was very professional, quality work and let me direct a bit of traffic on the install (im very particular which is why I usually do my own work).

Kirt has installed flooring in my kitchen and living room twice, and carpet in another room. His products are top notch quality! His cost is a little more, but the value you get for his professionalism, cleanliness, attention to detail, accurate quoting, being on time, responsiveness, and valuing your time is outstanding. I do most work myself, but Im glad to pay Mills flooring for my flooring needs. His crew comes in when they say they will, and knock it out in only a few hours every time. They clean up after themselves. I feel comfortable leaving them with my kids and wife. Its hard to find companies who you can trust around your family, who do what they say they will. Thanks Kirt!

Mr. Mills made sure that we as the customer were satisfied with our flooring before calling the job done. We are very satisfied with Mills Floor Covering and would highly recommend them for all of your flooring and tile needs.

We have a historic home and had several contractors come look at our second-floor hallway to give us bids. Kirt from Mills was far and away the best choice. He was friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. He met us at his office on his day off when he was fighting a cold to help us pick carpet. The hallway gets lots of traffic and I felt he helped us pick the best carpet for our area without trying to push a more expensive option on us. It’s nice to see salespeople who are more concerned about your home than their commissions. He worked the installation around our schedule and his installer was friendly and respectful of our home and did craftsman level work on seeming the difficult areas around the staircase railing. We were also surprised to see the bill was lower than the price quoted! I had such a great experience with them that I am actually looking forward to working with them again. You can find it cheaper, but you won’t find better customer service and installation than at Mills. We are so happy we found them!

My husband and I moved to the area last year and purchased a home that we immediately began renovations on, including gutting the kitchen and master bathroom as well as replacing roughly 2,000 sq ft of flooring. We were looking at hardwood at several places that had been recommended by our contractor, but we were unimpressed by the product selection and less impressed by the service. Then colleagues recommended Mills Flooring and we are so glad they did!We were floored (!) by the knowledge and helpfulness of Kirt Mills. When he found out where we lived, he recommended luxury vinyl plank rather than hardwood and he spent quite a bit of time talking us through the product, versatility, durability, and all the options. It was a great choice!In the end, we purchased all our flooring as well as all the bathroom shower tile from Mills Flooring. We were in and out of the store numerous times making selections for the main level flooring, basement flooring, tile, you name it. Everyone there was always so helpful and patient as I tried to make all these decisions. The prices were great and we get compliments on our beautiful floors every time someone visits our home.If you need flooring or tile, you should really do yourself a favor and go see Kirt and his team. I promise they will steer you in the best direction and youll get great service and a great price.
