Let me first say that I do not like writing bad reviews, however I have to write this one. I have never ever dealt with anyone in a professional manner that was so rude and totally unprofessional as Dr. Hoover. I took my new puppy here for the laser procedure to crop his ears. I do believe all he seemed to be interested in was the money and how he wanted to do things. To make a long story short: Met with Dr. Hoover, he said he could do the procedure. Scheduled it to be done and brought a picture of how I wanted them - He Did What he wanted - not the cut I asked. One ear is a little off also. Then let me say every time, except for once that I took my pup in for wrapping - they put him to sleep (safe for staff but not my dog) and charged for the wrapping - was told cheaper if they use the old wrapping (dont think that is safe). The last time I went (along with a friend) he was to take the wrapping off - He had made the appointment but somehow it failed to get entered into the computer. Dr. Hoover did not want to see me - said he did NOT have TIME for me. I asked him to please look at his ears (the bandages had came off, and his ears and neck looked terrible - sores and were wrapped incorrectly). He got very upset and YELLED at my friend and me and told us to GET OUT OF HIS OFFICE. I was so shocked, actually a little scared, but of course left and will NEVER be back. Like I said I do not like writing this bad review but people need to know how unprofessional, rude, and uneducated this vet is. I would give this place a zero or even less, but a couple of the girls were pretty good, however they did have a problem with my dog crying because he was in a strange place, having strange things done to him, and in a cage. Im pretty sure thats normal for a puppy to be upset. Thank you for reading this and I do hope you chose another vet.

New to the area we had not established a vet provider when our 10 year old cat became deathly sick. I called multiple vets, even the emergency vet, but was unable to get him in to be seen. I finally was referred to Coffee Veterinary Hospital & they saw him that afternoon. They are miracle workers. Very professional and friendly. Answered all my questions & called me with updates, sometimes after hours. He was under their care for 9 days and I dont believe he would be alive had it not been for their expertise and loving care they provided him. Our family is very grateful to all the staff at Coffee Veterinary Hospital.

Made an appointment for my dog to get his nails clipped n told him he might need meds to calm him down so I went to get meds n made another appointment to get his paw looked at n a bath. She ( the very rude lady) at front desk asked for me to pay for everything before hand n I had no problem w/ that but come time to take him in she recharged me, saying I only paid for meds that was in a cute little bag w/cans of food in it n treats that I did not want or need, or ask for. They need to get there stuff in order this place is ridiculous

My parakeet has discoloration on his feathers; I did some research and watched him closely and he seems to be healthy otherwise. I wanted him checked out just in case so I made an appointment for the next day, which I really appreciate as this is the only clinic that I know of for an hour or more that will see birds. The staff was really quick and efficient and Dr. Hoover gave a good report, very helpful information, and a small amount of antibiotics for super cheap. I’ll definitely bring my birds here in the future!

Great service. Took my Yorkie to animal health Clinic and seen all three vets there and was diagnosed 3 times incorrectly. Breathing issues and gagging. Figured I had better try a different veterinarian business before she died. Dr. Hoover from Coffee Veterinary Hospital found her lymph nodes swollen on both sides of her neck which was causing breathing issues. Gave her the proper medication and now she is on the mend. She finally ate something this morning. Still more to go but at least we are making progress now. Why didn’t any of the other three vets at animal health clinic find the correct problem and give her the proper medications I will never know. They even took an X-ray of her and totally misdiagnosed her with a small esophagus. Ok then. They are good with the basics but beyond that they have lost my trust. I will now be taking my babies to Coffee Veterinary Hospital because they seem to have a better grasp on animal health issues. If anything changes I can update my post but right now at least she is going forward and getting better.

Driving from Illinois to Florida stopped for the night in Manchester. Our dog was sick and needed immediate attention. Staff was kind and understanding andot us in right away. Dr. Hoover saw her and diagnosed her and reassured us. Prescribed antibiotics and advised us to follow with our Vet in Florida. All in all a very good experience. Not expensive. Would recommend this Vet clinic! ♥️

Brought my chicken in with lacerations. I had never been before. The office staff was friendly and knowledgable, and Dr. Hoover was outstanding. Obviously very skilled with all types of animals. Kate is doing well so far, and I am very pleased. Ill be bringing the rest of my crew there as needed in the future!

Very expensive and made us get things that Our dog didnt even need or things that she already had. Theres no reason for them to be as expensive as they are. Wont be going back. $360+ to get a dog spayed.

Was given outrageous estimate to examine my dog to find do out what the problem was for him not being able to urinate. 382.00 for tests, shots, x-ray, etc, this just to locate the problem. I have been taking good my pet there since 2008 which makes me wonder how much I have been over paying all this time.I took my dog elsewhere that same morning, he was given x-ray for possible kidney stones, fecal test, heartworm test, examined, rabies shot, combo shot for Parvo, distemper, and up to date shots, and two medications for urinary infection. Total cost 241.90!!!! Makes me angry at the mark up we were given for my pets health. Bye bye coffee vetrinary hospital, you will get no more of my money. Oh, and Pepper is fine now.
