Reliable and accurate. Will back you up if IRS ever questions the filings. We have been using ABL tax service since the founder, Al, opened his business in his Northern VA home, more than 15 years. He went from the office in his family’s home, then expanded to his basement for a few years, and then moved to the current location in Manassas with several sharp preparers working with him. We love Bob R. as our preparer. We moved to the Tidewater Area several years ago and still send our taxes to be completed by ABL Tax Service. They are affordable and trustworthy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is run by people who do not know what they’re doing. Cost us $6000 in mistakes, and even then, Al (the owner) wasn’t even going to refund our tax prep fee until we demanded it! His “we will make you whole” schtick is all bs. With a $6000 mistake his “whole” is paying the late fees and interest accrued. A grand total of about $43. Not even an “I’m sorry” but rather blamed a “glitch” in the system that caused a $6000 mistake. And we weren’t the only ones. When we asked if there were others he chuckled and said “oh yes, there were lots of others, but I guess they forgot to call you to let you know”. Yeah right. Then, when they finally sent the prep fee and interest/late fee refund, the letter accompanied had a ton of basic spelling and grammar mistakes. I would never ever ever trust them to do my taxes again. You have been warned.
