Since moving to Manassas back on April 2021, Ive been going to this location at least 50 times now. I have been shipping CD/discs through media mail all these times except today. I explained that what Im shipping is eligible for media mail and that Ive even been suggested by a representative from USPS back then to ship through media mail so itll be cheaper. Today, this bald Caucasian man started making me look like Im incompetent and even said to not have an attitude. I then spoke to a supervisor and funny thing is that, she told me that every rep at the post office are different. Some are understanding, while some are really uptight about every small details.I honestly respected this location but man this experience was definitely rotten.
They were denying us service for no reason when the website says they print prepaid shipping labels for free, they were very rude, and printed a different customers label out for free no problem. And there’s a creepy man making unnecessary comments on minors.
Marzia, the passport lady, is passive aggressive and rude. Youd think shed be a little bit nicer and careful when handling peoples important documents but shes not. Its obvious this is the most important shes felt in her life and shes no stranger to power trips. Denise is also a nightmare to deal with. I think she has somewhat of a god complex and is also a narcissist. Very disrespectful and entitled. You work at a post office, not the White House Denise!
Grace was soooo patient and polite! She sent 15 certified letters for me (took about 25 min) and she didn’t sigh or bat an eye once.
Great location. I take my son Oliver in to buy stamps and Tim goes above and beyond to make it a fun experience for him. He is 5 and loves writing and sending letters. Thanks.
The staff is amazing having to deal with all the ungrateful people. I’ve seen people ask staff to box something up then change their mind and ask for a different box. Many people also don’t have the proper forms filled out when going to the counter. So to the staff some of us recognize your hard work and professionalism.
GIVE TIM A RAISE! He is the best employee at this location. He actually cares and does a great job and he does it right. He’s always friendly and happy and overall just a kind person. Please don’t lose this employee as he is an asset to this location and company. It was bad before he was hired and now it’s improved greatly thanks to his help. Just look at my experience with him and others reviews and experiences on here, that is SAYING SOMETHING! So many locations for USPS have horrible customer service or rude employees but TIM IS THE MAN. GIVE HIM A RAISE - I am telling you this is rare for USPS.

I tried to buy a box to return products. The plan was to buy the box and put the USPS return sticker on at home to get away the crowds and have the mailman pick it up. So...after waiting in line in an overly crowded space, I was told to go pack things so they could all it. I tried explain that I would pack at home but was sent to the back of the line.Left to go to a private business which I should have done from the beginning.
I got 2 times come to this place. First time they accepted my drop off box. Same label same weight for second package the old lady with classes refuse my package because it over weight (0.5lb). She isn’t willing to help even I want to pay extra for my emergency delivery. Worst service. Never come back and thank you to help me found other usps store they willing to help custumer.
Why schedule pick up the hen no one shows up to pick up? Happens weekly. Time sensitive shipping gets delayed. So frustrating!
I was just trying to mail something and Denise (glasses) was being really nasty to me. But I stayed polite with her because she probably would have thrown my mail away if I had called her out on her nastiness!

Just moved into this area. The mail carrier put a pink slip in my mailbox stating” Stop blocking your mailbox” the car is not even blocking the mailbox it’s literally parked 2-3ft away from the mailbox. The mail carrier is LAZY to get out his/her vehicle to put the mail in my mailbox! My neighborhood is a roundabout so I guess he/she wants to drive to each mailbox and put in the mail in without any cars being in his/her way!! I even took a picture how my vehicle is parked away from the mailbox!

The lady at the front was extremely rude to my father. We were early for our appointment to get my passport, forms ready and everything. My father asked is anybody working in the passports, she raised her voice at him.
I like some of the worker, they are very good at what they do, and they love working at the post office, I have witness people waiting in line just to get to there favorite person to ship items

Tim went above and beyond for me. I had my 11 month old son with me trying to ship out 2 packages. I accidentally put a label on the wrong package and put it in the box. He took the time to pull my package out, change my label, and helped me change a box to save me $30 on a package. Thanks Tim!
Literally the worst post office ever. Machines constantly broken, drop-boxes so full you cant even get them open, and employees are rude and unhelpful. 0 stars, go somewhere else.
Go somewhere else. The customer service is hideous, some of the employees do try and are good at their job. But the woman with the glasses needs to find another job, she was rude condescending and not that bright. The managers here are on a power trip and legends in their own mind.
So lets talk dedication. This post office pretty much has to leave its doors open due to all the foot traffic and spacing due to Coivd-19. So although the customers are only in the place temporarily, these dedicated hard workers work in these, not as cool conditions all day in the name of Covid. Id like to personally say not only have they been professional with their service today, they also went above and beyond to help me today with an issue I caused. They did it with smiles. I cant remember the name of the pretty young lady with glasses and the pink apple watch on, but her and Mike have really been a tremendous help to me today in finding a package I accidentally delivered. The whole team there are always helpful and kind even in the midst of chaos. That says a lot about them all. The rating of 2.1 is mostly due to people with no patience who wait in lines most of the day. But I assure you if these disgruntled customers had half the patience the staff did, then theyd be decent people.Thank you.
Clerk number 26 date of service 11/23/2020 at 9:21am. Priority mail which took 24 to 72 hours due to covid. It arrived in Guatemala, Guatemala City which suppous to be in San Juan Puerto Rico. $67.00 waste !!

Bought a thumb drive from Best Buy back in December and it was to be delivered by this post office according to the tracking notes. This post office received the package but never shipped it to me. I went in a month later to see what happened to it and they told me they received it but misplaced it. Gave them my info and they said theyd call me and another month went by and never received my package. I guess Ill have to contact Best Buy to see if theyll ship another thumb drive or consider this a loss.
My package hasnt been delivered, half a month and still not delivered.
All 5 of these stars belong to Tim. He seems to know how to do everything, and even if theres something that he gets stuck on, or if the customer doesnt understand something, he takes the time to explain what is going on and make you feel like you are being helped as best as possible. Tim is always polite, has a great sense of humor, and I have never seen anyone angry at him. Ive even seen customers shouting at other employees, and Tim will take them aside and have them laughing, smiling, and out the door with what they needed in about a minute flat.
Tim is the only person we can trust at this establishment. Ive been going here for 5 years and no one is as knowledgable and helpful as Tim.

Honestly just giving it a 1 because there isn’t a no star button but the lady doing the passport section she wears glasses the most rudest person I’ve ever met in my life literally extremely racist I had gone Saturday to renew and she didn’t even want to proceed with the appointment I scheduled and I have another one this week for my son but I literally cancelled it and I’m going to another usps because this lady was very uncomfortable to be around with her racist actions so now I have to drive extra to a different usps because of the type of staff this place has everyone else was nice except for this lady thinking she is way more than everyone since she has her little passport section office so unbelievable!!! hope y’all take so action or at least train her to be fair with everyone .
It is a fairly decent post office. Older than most so it is a little run down but it gets the job done. It is a little hard to locate due to its size and the parking lot is kind of small. Other than that the staff are fairly quick and attentive and seem to know what they are doing. However setting up a P.O. Box there is a bit of a pain but it makes sense I suppose.
I waited for over an hour and a half, only for them to tell me that they needed my information because they couldnt locate my package even though it had only been delivered 2 days ago. they photocopied my ID as well as the slip that they left on my door. I dont appreciate that. Also, how do you lose something in 2 days?And then after giving him the slip for my package, he brings out a tub that only contained envelopes, even though my slip was clearly checked for it being a package! This place is a HOT MESS!
Asante is the best their is in this office. Very friendly polite gentleman. Always ask how are you doing? He knows what he doing, he gets you out. Never saw him without a smile on his face. That is the reason for the five stars. Asante

This post office either completely loses my packages, or misplaced them during sorting causing me to receive my packages ridiculously late and would not receive them if I didn’t consistently call or go to the post office to search for them. At this point it’s EVERY package, that is downright ABSURD. I have resorted to sending packages to my MIL house to avoid this post office altogether, but that does not work when shipping Christmas gifts.... and of course a package was supposed to be delivered yesterday... anyone would like to guess what didn’t show up and I now have to go hunt down? That’s right, MY PACKAGE... AGAIN. I really don’t understand how any establishment is ran this way. In need of new management or something.

By far the worst Postal office I have been to. The management is unprofessional and not letting the staff speak Spanish is very discriminatory. We live in a diverse community and such discrimination is unacceptable. I sure hope the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission takes action in this matter!
I am giving this place coz of Mitch . Very rude and unprofessional with lack of knowledge. He really need to do usps job training after that he need to learn some customer service and than some ethics, today I just hearing he was saying on job on duty saying a customer he don’t like and I don’t like him either wow that called customer service . Issue #1 - Slow service has caused this place to be extremely over crowded at pretty much any hour during the day. There always seems to be at least two employees wondering around aimlessly, offering no assistance to anyone.Issue #2 - I was simply trying to drop off a small box that I had paid and printed postage for online. In my attempt to drop the box off inside, using the drop box, an employee stopped me and said, You cant just drop off boxes there. An employee must see you with the package. Are you kidding me? This guy had no idea what he was talking about. The whole point of having a drop box for letters, envelopes, packages, etc, is so you dont have to wait in line to see an employee. Needless to say, I refuse to use this location again.I feel sorry for the competent employees who do work at this location. Im sure you are just as frustrated as the rest of us.
Since November 2019 I have recieved three other neighbors packages and they have lost two of mine. UPS and Fedex seem to get it right...
Scheduled an appointment for passport, showed up on time but there was someone waiting already. When the receptionist answered the office door the person told her that she had an appointment for 1230pm. My apt was for 1145am, she looked at me and proceeded to tell the lady she would see her first. So then I waited 30min for them to finish. This was so rude. I might as well should not have even made an apt. Dont go here!
Always crowded. Always slow not matter what time of day you go in. This post office is the epitome of why the USPS is losing billions per year. If I were an inspector general visiting, I would make the recommendation to privatize postal service based on my visit. My only regret with this review is that I cant make the rating a half star or negative star.Do yourself a favor, dont bother here. Go to UPS. Supremely better service. Or just get your skateboard and deliver it yourself. Avoid the noid. This shop is awful.

I, too, just moved here from a small town in Maine. I am used to the small Post Office with such great personal service! However, I found the people at the Studley Road PostOffice very pleasant and helpful, I was treated very well and will use this Post Office asmine!Thank you for having such delightful people working there!
How Is it that an establishment can have 3 separate phone numbers and not one of them get answered... by far the worst usps I’ve ever had an experience with hands down.
I read a mask policy in your door but some people are not using it. I was thinking in tell this to an employee but he also was without a mask even the manager and the place full of people.
I posted something from here last Friday. I had initially told a lady who was ushering people up a automated machine a zip code that I had wanted to mail my package ...but later wanted to change it ... she ran a quick label for me with my credit card and later disappeared quickly ... I put the correct address on the package but it has been missing in the system since. Never going back there again. Such a nightmare.
Was supposed to get my order delivered to me last Wednesday. It’s now been over a week that my order been stuck at the USPS and none is trying to locate my order. Last time I came in concerning my order the gentleman at the pick up shell literally told me that it wasn’t my decision to make when I asked for a refund. So I spent 114$ on a order that you guys have lost and I don’t even get to decide whether I’m getting ‘MY’ money back or not. Y’all real funny. I NEED my order by this Monday USPS prior to me flying that same night. Someone needs to get fired. Last time working with this company.

This postal service office is an absolute joke.Twice already they have conveniently lost Amazon packages that were guaranteed to be delivered in 2 days, they failed to deliver my mail order prescriptions for well over a week forcing me to go to a local pharmacy to get an emergency supply, and to top it off they failed to deliver a guaranteed overnight document on time AND proceeded to give me a hard time about getting a refund when it was them who failed to do the job that they accepted money for.Every time I call to inquire about the status of my package, I get a different person who tells me: its out for delivery, when clearly it is not, and I even had one individual hang up on me mid call.I wish I could give this them zero stars because they are the absolute worst. Avoid doing business with them at all costs.
They have stepped up customer service, a +. Very fast for being busy on a Tuesday afternoon. My wife and I were greeted in advance while in line and informed of what we needed and what are options were so that we were ready to go when we were next in line. Awsome !
Ordered 3 packages to be delivered the same day. Two of the packages were delivered. One was not, but it was scanned into the system as delivered. I called the customer service number and sat, listening to the automation system music, for over 30 mins. No one answered.
My experience with this location has been nothing but spectacular.I am a eBayer full time, so shipping is my business. These guys are always spot on when it comes to acceptance scans and pushing out the mail the same day when they receive the items. Keep up the great service guys.

Do you HAVE to be surly to work at the Post Office? Is that part of the application process. Just trying to ask about an envelope a family member sent that needed to be signed for. Postman never knocked on my door and left a note in box. When I asked that it be redelivered, I got non-stop guff from the person who answered the phone. Sorry she hates her job. She will be able to find something else when the Post Office goes bankrupt. Im sure they will be delighted to have her scream at the customers when she is behind the counter at McDonalds. Hope she looks good in a paper hat.

I have certified mail that was suppose to be delivered yesterday but it never was. The postal guy never attempted to come to my door to get a signature. I called the local number and no one answers. it just keeps ringing. I need to ask them if I need to come in and sign it.I have a flight to Kentucky just for this certified mail to be in my hands.
They dont care about the customers. Ive sent a parcel to Australia through USPS. Its been 40 days and parcel is still not delivered. And when we ask them over phone, they have a reply that they didnt get any update from destination country. I checked with Australia post, but they didnt receive any parcel.Ill never use USPS for sending any parcel.
Terrible customer service. Wouldnt even give me a small Strip of packing tape to cover up a spot of my parcel, wanted me to buy a whole roll from them instead.Im using private mail services from now on.

Horrible service. I made an appointment to apply for a passport, had everything ready and when I got there (10 minutes before my appointment time) I was told that there were 3 people ahead of me and the lady wouldnt be able to help me until 3pm, an hour after my appointment time. Whats the purpose of making an appointment if you get there early and still have to wait an hour.
I know Post Offices arent always the best experiences. That being said, this place is the worst. Going here, youd think they WANT the USPS to fail. You can tell that some employees actually care and try to help you, but they are picking up the slack for all the other employees who are just standing behind the counter picking their nose and ignoring customers. Thats not a joke. There is a UPS store down the street that handles USPS mail, for sending things out, we always go there now.
The only post office Ive ever seen that flat out just doesnt show up. On the plus side due to their delays my amazon prime has been extended out a few more months and Ive gotten a couple gift certificates. Still the worse service I have ever seen.
Lost a $155 package and no one knows where it is at. Very bad service, I am not getting any call backs on why or where it could be. Only one person was nice from the post office and will change it once I get my package or find out where it is at.
Custom service sucks you can get a direct #. You call the 800 # and either you have a 14 min hold time but are on hold for 2 hours before the phone hangs up on you or you are told ugh pu have a hour hold time. You go into the office and they still dont have an answer for you say they research your lost package and call you but they never do. You are at their mercy. Oh yeah they are government. All I want is my package that WAS NEVER DELIVERED.
There is ONE gentleman in the entire building who is ever willing to help anyone and guide them through their purchase! It always has Atl east 15-20 people in line, with little to no motivation amongst the staff
God they need to privatize this horrible service. Like most things the government does they suck at providing service. I was looking for a package today and got a notice saying they attempted delivery and business was closed. WRONG we are working and are there, just because the parking lot looks empty does not mean we are not there. Some of us have to do our jobs, and are not so lazy as to park in a handicap space when making a delivery so we dont have to walk another 50. They are so freaking incompetent and lazy. Hell I even have security footage from my home showing them throwing packages on my porch from the postal jeep. LAZY LAZY LAZY

Not the first or second time i come in here, and get horrible customer service from 2 asian ladies. I think one of them is Tong, one is a little tanner than the other i think. But point is they have HORRIBLE customer service, a poor guy infront of me got yelled at for asking a question and she yelled at him infront of everyone. Here i come next and same thing because the price of one of my packages was wrong so i simply asked why, and she used this big pen and smacked it next to my hand trying to point at the prices of the packages....she talked bad about me as i was leaving to the next customer....like what kind of customer service do they have? Theyre always so rude and i feel intimidated walking in there even. Therefore i go all the way to the one in Manassas by Georgtown south....

My wife called to get passport renewal information for our Son who is Minor. I guess because of her Asian Accent she was told that her agentwill give her all the information. I wish if she wouldve got her Name.
Would give one star if I could. I called with a question about my package and the man wouldnt even let me speak! Im always receiving other peoples mail and judging by the other reviews I dont understand how the manager is still employed / this post office is still around. Took forever to pick up a piece of mail. The person at the pick up spot wasnt there. Another employee told us to just keep ringing the bell. Once the person showed up, he didnt know how to scan the mail. What should have been an in and out thing ended up being a 20 minutes long process.
Horrible experience - I paid for Priority Mail with a guaranteed delivery to an international destination or my money back. Now the USPS is saying so sorry, we have no control if a package gets held up in customs. Do NOT pay for this extra service which was $63 instead of $26 because the United States Post office will not give your money back!!!
Oh geez! People like to complain! I know Im only one here who is VERY SATISFIED with everything about this branch. And no, I DONT work for this branch or anyhow related to it.I LOVE this branch, even though its crowded, but employees are friendly and very helpful! I go here 2-3 times a week and see how crazy their job is, they always have people here and some of the customers are being so dump...lol (I was like Wow, I would snap already), but they serve everyone with a patience!Trust me, they work as fast as they can and try to deliver the best customer service as possible.Im done here.

The worst. Called to ask a question. Got cut off 4 times before I had to interrupt her and tell her to let me speak. I get that you probably get a lot of the same questions but you didnt answer mine any of the times you cut me off and talked over me. Shut up and let the customer speak. In the last two months I have had wrong mail delivered, delayed mail and now a package that was sent back as undeliverable - address incorrect when I checked with the sender and tracking and it was correct. Ive called the Manassas Post office every day since Saturday, 12/3/16, have gone over there to inquire about my package and have had absolutely no help whatsoever. They dont return your calls, they dont call you back when they say they will. So they sent a package back that was not incorrect. Ive been told that they had hired new carriers. Im beginning to think that some of these carriers just dont feel like getting out of their truck to put a package on my doorstep. The Manassas Post Office used to be really good. Not anymore.
Abosolutely the worst. Why they have a telephone number is beyond me. NEVER, EVER ANSWER THE PHONE. This is exactly why UPS, FedEx, or DHL is taking away USPS business. 4th package since September not in mailbox.
Opened my mailbox today to find about 20 pieces of mail, addressed to as many different addresses in my apartment complex, stuffed in my mailbox. Luckily, our mail was there too. I guess this postman was on drugs and wanted to get his day over with. Hopefully, he will have plenty of free time on his hands.

So I go here often, because I live near by. 1 year ago I sent over Bose Speaker systems like the Whole theater set to London and the other end never received it. The tracking info said it never left Manassas. We would go there often to check up on it. 5 months later and they kept saying they sent it and its in london. We never had any info on the tracking # only that it was in Manassas. We had insurance on it I guess thats what you call it and it was about $500 we needed to get back for them, they made us come back like 9 times to speak to the manager. These people man very un-professional. Never got my money back and Im still going to them! They are always in a rush and always just push my date around. Like what do I do?!

So they misplaced a package I had sent directly to them. Came in on a Tuesday to pick it up, was told they cant find it and will call me when they locate it. Wednesday comes and goes... Thursday I call to check on the status. I get put on hold for 25 minutes... they didnt even ask my name.. so how do they know which package to look for? literally looking at my phone right now... says Ive been holding for 25 minutes. No... Were still here maam... nothing... This is worse than the DMV. I had to call back on a different number, for them to tell me that they still havent found it and they will call me when they do. This makes me feel like finding my package isnt a priority and it doesnt matter that I might actually need whats sitting around somewhere because someone misplaced it. Ugh... They acted like they were confused when I told them I had it held for pickup... how do you not know what that means!

The USPS HAS BECOME THE new DMV They crap on you because they know they can. Ive had 3 packages delivered to the house and when you go and meet with them they act like your bothering them, this is not the way it should be.
Tried calling to see if I could pick up a Surepost package thats been delivered there. The number for the post office is disconnected. I called the USPS number 800-ASK-USPS and there was a survey right off the bat, and when I selected 2 for being under 21 I was disconnected. I tried each of these twice with the same results. Absolutely ridiculous.
Picked up my mail that had been on hold and got mine and someone elses despite giving them my license with my address on it. Bad enough i constantly get other peoples mail in my mailbox but thats ridiculous.

I am starting to think my mailman carrier do not no how to read, I receive so many packages that is not mine and my mail always get delivered after 6pm! I wish they can make less mistakes and come alot earlier...
