I rented a car from here a couple weeks ago and had an amazing experience! Lacy helped me out and made sure I got the car I needed and she was nice, helpful, and definitely went the extra mile to make sure I got what I needed! Will definitely be using them going forward!
Dont do business with them! They are so unprofessional, made us wait hours and never showed up for our reservation. We made a reservation for 2pm for the same day and I received a confirmation email and text. When we arrived the place was locked the assistants had all stepped away. We waited and then called and the lady that picked up was extremely rude and wanted to get us off the line ASAP and said she probably wont have a car for us when shes back. We asked when she would be back and she said maybe close of business. We left without the car we had reserved after a long wait where she didnt show up. Another hertz employee showed up and hurriedly told us he couldnt help us but the lady we had spoken to online would be back in a minute after waiting much longer than that we left and ended up being helped at budget
Very Bad customer service came to rent a vehicle and the receptionist with a bad attitude told me that she’s about to close and the process will take longer and to come back next day even that I explained that it was an emergency but she did not Care so do not use this location at all. It was an emergency can you be more human and help a customer I’m very sure the process will take no more than 15 minutes I done it before but I guess employee comes first than customer.
Use enterprise!! Booked a reservation and confirmed everything. The day of the reservation I show up and they tell me that they are sold out of cars. They “supposedly” called me 3 hours beforehand to tell me which was a lie because I had me phone with me the whole time and even if they did call they should’ve left a voicemail. Their manager was unhelpful and just plain rude. Avoid this place at all cost just use enterprise

If you book online they run a credit check. Should make that clear before taking your money. The ladies inside were very helpful and professional.

I have had a wonderful experience at this Hertz location. The 2 young ladies who work in the office are wonderful. They maintain professionalism while also taking the time to care about their customers. I would highly recommend this Hertz location to anyone I know & those I dont. The pricing was great & I was able to extend when I needed to.Some of the corporate employees could learn a lot from these 2 about how to treat customers. I was talked to horribly by a lady named Heather at the corporate offices & have written a letter about it.

The worst car rental agency ever. The first time I reserved a vehicle, it was malfunctioning. Too bad -- its the managers special and all they had. The second time, they insisted my reservation was for a cargo van, and if I wanted a car, I would have to pay an additional $350. Corporate is not responsive. Go to Enterprise instead.
Horrible ExperienceI made a compact car reservation 10 days in advance for a 1 week rental to travel from Manassas, VA to California, one-way. I got a family member to take off work for awhile to take me to the Hertz facility in Manassas, VA on the morning of the pickup 1 hour early. I asked the two ladies working at the desk if I was too early, they said no, but we have no cars. They confirmed I had a car reservation for a 10am pickup, then said there is practically zero chance of having a car by noon or even today. They suggested I try a larger airport, they might have some cars to rent, Manassas they said, is #4 on the list for cars. I asked if they could call one of their associate Hertz facilities to confirm a car so I dont have to travel many, many miles to see if there are cars available. They said no, they dont have phone numbers of the other agencies. Very bad. I went back to my car totally frustrated together with my wife and granddaughter that were ready and packed for the trip, with no idea what to do next. I looked up Hertz Dulles Airport, called the number several times, no answer. I then drove 1 hr to Dulles during rush hour traffic. Talked to the staff there, told them my story, gave them my reservation number, they didnt care because it was for another location. Long story short, they reluctantly found me a car for the one-way trip, but was a full size ($$$), and since I was essentially a same-day walk-in, price was higher than with a reservation. I ended up paying 2 1/2 times my original price, but did manage to desperately rent a car and save forfeiting my paid reservations at a tour attraction and motel. I dont know if this lack of customer service is due to the pandemic or theyre just overloaded, but Hertz will be last on my list for the next rental.

Please have clean and sanitized cars ready for rent especially ones with a reservation. Its not OK to say your establishment couldnt supply staff for the day. Alert your customers in advance and offer to ensure a quality experience.

Pay an uber or have a friend pick you up 10+ miles away from here. Preferably use enterprise because they will get you to and from their location. They charged me $400 for smoking and never did a pre inspection or post inspection with me present and have no tangible evidence (photo, video), just the word of one woman who didnt do her job correctly. Charges are being disputed currently, DO NOT USE HERTZ OR YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL GET HURT
Do not ever rent a car from @Hertz ‼️ They charged my card $400 without even telling me because theyre claiming it smelled like cigarettes and that ashes were on the passenger side when I had no passenger in the vehicle. They did not pick up the car the day I told them it was ready, so it was left in the parking lot overnight due to THEIR negligence but theyre taking money I needed for therapy.
I recently rented a vehicle from Hertz at the Manassas airport and it was the smoothest car rental experience Ive had in a long time. The woman at the counter was friendly and efficient at both the check out and check in. My only minor quibble was that one tire on the vehicle had a low pressure warning but that was quickly fixed.
Horrible experience. Ben the manager sets an example of poor leadership and unprofessionalism, therefore the employees are left to carry on in the sam manner. Paul Stone where are you?

Worst location to ever rent a car. They don’t answer the phones and they do not help you. My rental car had a low tire pressure light. I’m trying to get another rental. The lady said she will call me and never did. So I’m paying for nothing.
Terrible customer service! The lady working at the Hertz Manassas airport on Saturday, 11/21/20 was very rude. I called to discuss an overcharge on my rental and she was rigid and rude and hung up the phone while I was still talking. She needs to be replaced! I will never rent a car from this location again!
Poor customer service. My rental was dirty inside and out. The car smelled of smoke and wasn’t promised a replacement.

*BEWARE OF THIS PLACE*I tried to rent a car today from hertz but instead they left me stranded out here with no car and didnt even take me back to get my own car back from the auto body shop from where they pick me up from so my car can get fixed . I didnt appreciate the serice and attitude that was served from RYAN SPISAK from hertz the person who picked me up from the auto body shop to go and get my rental car . After we arrived RYAN SPISAK called to get authorization for payment so i can get my rental so i asked why its not goin thru RYAN says he dont know and i even showed him i did have funds in my account to pay for rental RYAN told me to call my bank to get authorization which I did but then while I did that RYAN SPISAK speed off and left me stranded as I was speaking with my bank and they told me that hertz didnt close out my last contract and the person who told me that my contract was closed HER NAME IS TANYA FREEMAN shes the one who told me she close out my last contract and also did not give me ride to get my car back and my car was only 5 miles away after asking her politely that I needed just a ride to get my car and I also offered to give gas money in cash she said no way Im not giving you a ride you need call a uber or lyft just like everyone else does I am not giving you a ride there is now way Im giving you a ride I have things to do today those were her exact words from someone who is an employee at hertz and I dont know how she got hired she also called Ryan to check if my last contract was closed and he said he dont know what were talkin about and hang up on her. The last time I rented a car from hertz it was only for one day and TANYA said she remembered that. I really hope that i will.never need them again because this is disgusting treatment to give to someone who is very honest and polite to them which I did not get in return even though I was treated with horrible attitude I still gave them positive attitude and even though there attitude was like they didnt even want to look at me I didnt even treat them bad or negative attitude. So after waiting an hour I finally got a ride to get my car back. And I found out Hertz filed for bankruptcy. If I knew that I wouldnt go to them

Hertz office is in a small poorly marked corner of a hanger. Good luck finding it. Once we did finally find it, the service was fine.

Had an incredible rude encounter with the BM, Megan, a year and a half ago. I vowed to never go back and I hold true to that.
Reserved a suburban. Called multiple times to ensure the vehicle would be there. When we arrived, it was not there. Had many passengers with us and had to cram into a van. Just like the Seinfeld episode...its called a reservation! The attendant was unhelpful and did not even apologize.
Hertz is the WORST company ever, i had someone rear end me the week i turn in the rental. I filled out the accident form, even called the accident line with all the information. 2 months after im getting emails from Hertz putting in claims with every last insurance company ive had over the years on my behalf. I call and ask why are you doing this? I gave you all the info....Just to find out all this time they have just been calling the persons phone number ( that person never answered) nothing else, not even calling the person insurance company, to make a long story short, while my insurance company was taking care of everything on the excessive persistence of hertz, the other parties insurance company was waiting for someone from hertz to send them the bill. So hertz tells me hey if you would have got our extra insurance this would have never happened. I was in a car for almost 60 days, i was already paying them an arm & a leg. If they would have contacted the other parties insurance THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. Never again, never coming back here. Btw this location only has 1 representative most of the time, if you call and they dont answer there out cleaning cars. If you go there and theres nobody in the building, there out cleaning cars.
Professional and courteous. Only thing is there is only one person working, so if they are attending to a car, youd have to wait. Otherwise excellent service.

Horrible service. Extremely unprofessional. The employees are inattentive. When I given the two options of auto insurance for my rental, the Hertz insurance or my own, I asked to see the hertz option. It was over $700 where as my own was almost $500 cheaper.I asked to go with my own insurance for the rental. Luckily I checked my bank account on my phone and noticed the hertz employee, who was a trainee, charged the $700. I made her aware of her mistake and asked for the money to be reimbursed. She was unable to.It’s been a week of me calling the customer service and Hertz location and back again and I still haven’t been able to get my money back. They show no signs of wanting to help and are fully content holding on to the $700 they owe me.Avoid the Hertz on 9990 wakeman dr, Manassas. Their awful.

Worst customer service ever. My pick up time was 12:30 AM, but when we went there, their office was closed and they even didnt leave the key to APP. I had to cancel lot of reservation because of their carelessness.
Turned in a newer car with full tank of gas to be nice and was charged 200$ for a car wash, the con men in manassas said it was for smoking and ashes but when I called to see the notes it said car wash, do not rent from hertz they are scam artists n not very good ones at that, do yourself a favor do not go to hertz.
Alexandra location...Customer Service was ok...however they gave me a vehicle with no inspection current and tags that was expired....they put my family endangered..they cover the one plate with a blue tape to match the plate......we notice this a day later.....took it back to another Hertz for exchange after our vaca
I rented a one way rental from Manassas, VA to Cary, CA.I dropped off the vehicle at a John Deer corporate office as instructed and they did not close out the contract.In return, Hertz charged me over $1,000 because apparently no one closed out the rental and I get punished for their mistake? NOT COOL!!!!Stay far away from Hertz or they will rob you blind!!!!
The Indian guy there (sorry that I cant think of his name) is the only person at this location thats very kind, knowledgeable and professional. They have a new lady there thats the so called manager and she knows nothing about nothing. They need to send her back to where she came from and let the Indian guy run the place. He knows how to get things done!
First the woman at the desk have horrible attitude the worst experience id ever had. Car was dirty and smoked in and the woman forced to sign that the car is clean/interior when I said its not clean. She said: Sir you know what dont take it its the last car and I have a lot of customers will be ready to pay double what you are paying and I need to go home now.....unbelivable. I was in Manassas airport and there is no other way of transportation ....I am really disappointed will never ever use hertz
NEVER GO HERE! They told me they had an SUV with a Roof Rack and when I showed up, they tried to sell me on the idea that the rails were a roof rack and would somehow allow me to transport an extension ladder. EXTREMELY UNAPOLOGETIC! Guy said his GM would find me a SUV with a Roof Rack...an hour later he walked past me outside and I asked how long it might take and he said for what?It gets worse...After 3 hours he came outside and said there were no SUVS in the state with Roof Racks and they were unable to get ahold of any pickup trucks...then the guy gave me the number to Enterprise and said they have an F250 you can rent.(I had already contacted that Enterprise Location and was waiting for them to pick me up by then!)BOTTOM LINE:Customer Service Here Is Horrible,The Employees Dont Have Sufficient Knowledge About The Vehicles They Are Renting, And When They Make A Mistake, You Will Suffer Bigtime!AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
